Curso's True High Brix!

I do love some full melt bubble. Tastes so fantastic...Its bho day in my world, we're going to break it down further and get the bho into glycerin. So it should end up being a 3-5 day process.

"Winterize" the BHO first:

make the BHO per usual.
Take BHO and completely dissolve into Everclear.

Put into the freezer for a few hours.

Waxes you don't need or want will come to the top, other impurities will sink to the bottom. Suck out liquid in the middle with a syringe and then put that in the glycerin and vacuum/cook off all the alcohol. You'll know when you've done that thus:

1. weight the BHO
2. Weigh the glycerin
3. Weigh the mix of winterized BHO+alcohol+ glycerin after you've injected the winterized fluid into the glycerin container
4. heat/vaccum until final weight=starting weight of glycerin and BHO.

IE if I started with 4 oz of glycerin and 1 oz of BHO...final product will be 5 oz.....even though we might cook off a few ounces of alcohol.

I hope that makes sense.

Makes 100% sense thanks Doc. Playing with the vacuum is pretty fun, that'll be tomorrow's step. We were kind of interrupted and he we had to stop what we were doing for the night. This is pretty much exactly what we needed.

They came out pretty nice man...I should dress them up and take a proper pic, maybe later tonight (after I eat another one)...I'm pretty stoked to get that super huge cone...I have a couple oz of roaches waiting for its ass The butter machine is a must have if you like edibles and dislike the nasty taste. It does a great job of getting that out. I'm looking forward to the purple's too(i have been for a while)...I can keep it cold enough in there now I think. Pennywise I'll go pick up sometime this week, I gotta drive about an hour or so to get to a "retailer" fine by me. Maybe they have some of the new TGA strains available as meds.

Well, they're awesome, and thank you. The jury is out on them, my buddy can't palate the chlorophyll flavor, so if he asks for another. It's solid. It also helps that he's a chef too. Make some cookies bro!!! Nothing better than an edible for breakfast with a cup of coffee to get the day riding properly

Thanks Ice!!! I love the Magic Butter Machine!!! It's something that I will enjoy playing with for a long time, right in my creative zone I have a few projects happening, but the food born ones are fun for me and immediately gratifying I am on youtube a couple times doing a food demo...Not by choice or posted by me...

Well, I still haven't taken the final pics of the yummies but it should happen today. I just checked in on the veg tent, both Indigo Endo's, both Sour Diesel #2 and one Blue Cheese is up. I planted 9 and only really need 6 but if they all pop I have room they wont be massive trees like I have in flower now. The flower tent has all had energy once and watered once this week, they're drinking a gallon of water every couple days now. Everything in there looks great.

I apparently left one the top's of the doors unzipped on the tent last week and it caused a light leak and caused a couple nanners on a pineapple skunk. I noticed it in time to catch it, I think. I inspected it the last couple days and have found no new nanners. The rest of the plants were unaffected. She is just big enough to be near the leak I caused...

So I just stepped outside and found this box outside my door. Thank you for the awesome jar!!! Thank you also the sponsors Cones and Raw, I love both of these products. Gratz on the goodies you deserve it bro! Your making me want that butter machine something fierce! I hate the cloro taste too I have to make dry ice Keif and then butter and clarify it twice to get enough of the taste out to gag down some cookies! I usually just put heated Keif in a capsule ,so it seems I need the machine how else will I get high CBD hash edibles in me in high enough amounts to see how it works, naw mean? Funny thing is I can tolerate all sorts of herbs in extract form like valerian root,yucca extract is pretty bad too,have you tried that,? Been trying that for my joints and back but so far I can't manage the 1tsp a day lol more like 1/4 tsp, I take a mountain of vits & herbs everyday,(prolly only reason I have not croaked yet) we needs talk foodie talk more often reach you my secret toffee recipe

I love the magic butter machine!!!! Yeah bro it's pretty much a must have if you can't handle that taste. I can get past it, generally with a cup of coffee. But. It's nice not needing a coffee with the edible. The Yucca needs to be diluted in some water then it's hardly noticeable. I am not a vitamin junky but I do take one daily along with the omega 3's with each meal (I'm no a big store bought fish person). The toffee sounds excellent hit me up on FB I can talk food all day. I'm sure I could get tons of butter into that

We set a tray of cookies in the hydro grow last week, same mom as these ones. You would never guess it's the same plant, they're showing very heavy indica traits, big fat leaves and staying rather short at the moment. I do love the sativa characteristics, I've said it before; I need no help being lazy...

Oh yeah they're in the 4x4..lol it just takes some creative placement of the plants and branches, it's working. I'm going to either take the top half and let the bottom finish or pull them at once and have a huge amount of hash...IDK yet...lol I can see where the light starts to get weak on these plants.

I'm kinda anxious to see how the cookies turn out in hydro, these current cookies are very minty smelling, much more so than the last rounds. They were vegged double the amount of time. I hope that the longer veg will change my mind about the cookies. Everyone else loves it, me...I think its just MEH. If it doesn't have that WOW factor this time around, it'll be leaving my personal grow. It does make really nice hash, I'm not looking for a hash plant though.

The diesel is much more complex in buzz and flavor in the high brix both are nice, but the High brix is just some special medication. The Chem Valley Kush, look similar. The high brix had much, much bigger tops than the CVK that is currently growing in hydro. And the flavor is omg good from the High brix, that beautiful OG lemon with a finish of the nasty meat from the chemdawg. Good Shit. By far my favorite from the last round and is pictured with the box of raw papers, thats as far as I could make it through that joint...lol I have an oz stashed for a rainy day.

The plants in the hydro grow look very unhappy to me. Like they are alive because they have to be. My hb grow you can tell they want to be alive and are happy about it.

Gotta wonder if there's not some way to achieve high brix or at last much higher brix plants in hydro, IM thinking it might have to be in a non circulating system like bubble buckets, I had a thought "how would a plant do sitting in a bucket of the tea"? Then I though hmmm get like 4 buckets Bubbling with different mixtures going and switch the plant into each bucket as fast as a couple times a day half a day in nutes,half a day in tea, or just adjust the bucket as needed ,anyway it seems there's got to be a way to make it work! Not me tho I suck at hydro lol

Just my opinion but...I don't think cannabis was meant to have wet feet is why they look unhappy to me. Branches that need support and just not very ridged. It's just a blah way to grow. Hydro to me is very "herp derp".

You get great Foie gras when you force feed a goose to blow up its liver...
