Curso's True High Brix!

Things in my grow are moving along today, maybe a bit ahead of myself, but whatever I was bored. I transplanted 5 of the 6 seedlings into 2gl smart pots with roots, transplant and tea. The 6th is just a bit of a slow starter. It got some transplant and tea too. I didn't get to take pic's the camera was being used and I would rather tell you guys about a transplant than ever post bad pics. Besides, pics of dirt with little babies are really nothing to look at.

While I had the transplant/tea and roots out...It was test time!!!! I had about a quart of the liquid left over so I took 1 Tablespoon of roots and topdressed the earlier blooming Pineapple Skunk, mixed it in, then topdressed with about one quart of soil. Gave that plant the quart of transplant/tea/+a tsp of yucca extract and let it rip. We'll see if I killed it tomorrow...LMAO That was a joke it'll be fine, I'm just curious as to what'll happen. It's a week behind the other one so I have a great guideline, they're clones from the same plant.

I might do a pic update tomorrow, I'll have to see how the plants feel about being moved.

Loving the experimentation! I've been top dressing an entire cup of worm castings per pot, along with the recharge and 1/4 tsp K-mag. I like what I'm seeing!

I have noticed something fantastic with experiment's with the kit. Every one I have done so far, has had no true ill effect. It seems the soil just fixes its self. Maybe I haven't tried pushing it to hard with the feed, but the times I thought I might have over done it a little bit. The plants hold true. I really enjoy playing with this high brix stuff. Small changes=Big rewards...I dig it!!!

Btw Doc...What is K-mag ??

K-mag=Sul po mag=Langbenite.

From the web...I couldn't explain it better, except to say that I don't like the potassium, but there's quite a bit of phosphorus and calcium added at the recharge and much of this potassium will wash out quickly. I'm more interested in the sulfur, and to a lesser extent the magnesium.

Organic Sul-Po-Mag (0-0-22) also known as K-Mag NATURAL is the commercial name for the mineral otherwise known as sulfate of potash-magnesia (langbeinite). Contains 22% soluble potash, 22% sulfur and 11% magnesium. A quick release source of potassium, Sul-Po-Mag also makes a good addition to soils that lack sulfur.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Broadcast 5 to 10 lbs. Sul-Po-Mag per 1,000 square feet.

K-Mag NATURAL is virtually 100% water soluble, meaning crops have access to three essential nutrients:

Potassium – Essential for protein synthesis and protein formation. It improves the flavor and color of fruits and vegetables, and promotes drought tolerance, winter hardiness, and disease and insect resistance.

Magnesium – Resides at the heart of the pigment-containing molecule, chlorophyll. As rates of photosynthesis decline, so do quality and yield.

Sulfur – Remains a key element in crop proteins. It is a requirement for nitrogen fixation in legumes and vital to vitamin synthesis in all plants, important determinants of crop quality. Without sulfur, onions, garlic and mustard would not possess their distinctive flavors.

I catch what your throwing there Doc :)

Edit: Sul po mag sounds like a funky oriental dish...

Yeah I'm not moving these plants out of the tent again until I harvest. Which should be sometime next week. The first Pineapple Skunk and both of the Toxic Blue 33's got their final gallon of water today. So once they dry up, they'll be coming down. The later blooming Cookie's will probably go another week maybe 2 weeks tops. The other cookie is looking like a hash plant. A shitty plant indeed. I hope the GDP will give the cookies a boost in some way. The next male will go into Chem Valley Kush, this pheno is just a beast, I've never seen such an aggressive plant.

The test plant survived the night and also got 1 gallon of water. I'm thinking if there is going to be any noticeable change it'll happen in a couple days. It'll take a few for the tea/transplant to work its magic on the roots product.

Everything that got transplanted is very happy and is not showing any signs of any type of transplant shock. They're all reaching for the light. It's kinda cute seeing these little baby plants reaching like the big girls do.

One of the Afghan Kush popped it's head up today :high-five: It'll be interesting to see what the high brix soil does to this plant, I have only had it in hydro, it's suppose to be 100% indica, we'll see ;) It's always fat leafed and kinda short in hydro...

I have an Afghan Kush I got as a freebie. I 'spose I should have some indica on hand, so I've been thinking of putting it in the lineup. I'll be watching yours.

I love this strain!!! It's super sticky, really stinky and generally yields very well, it's also pretty fast too (60 days in hydro like clockwork). It'll be interesting to see the differences between the 2 methods in the plants.

There are 2 trays of it vegging in the hydro right now ;)

LOL, I'm already producing more than I can smoke and I still want more space, just to grow more strains!

Gimme a warehouse! I just want to grow it!

:yummy::goof::laugh:

That's what I'm talkin' about! Growing is amazing! If you can put your soul into it a little or a lot, sooner or later you find out how to grow some really nice produce. And THAT is rewarding, is it not?

Rewarding beyond belief Doc.

I think we get out of growing what we put in. The more vested you are in what you are doing, the more rewarding it becomes.

Sounds like Cannabis church up in here!
amen, and hallalujah!
Stopping in with a quick what up!
plants look beyond healthy my friend.
reps:)

Thanks Vick!!! I'll be looking forward to your next journal bro :high-five:

Well both AK seeds poked their heads up which makes me very happy. I am really looking forward to this strain in HB. The rest of the seedlings are cruising along. Both Indigo Endo's are very vigorous and are working on their 4th set of leaves, the rest are finishing their 2nd. They all got a deep soak yesterday. I didn't wet them really well when I transplanted them, I had given them just enough transplant liquid to keep them alive (1c). I like to let them set themselves before I water them hard, it seems to lessen the transplant blow. They'll get their first spray of stress sometime today.

I'm going to try to get some pics up today, it's been a while and these ladies in flower are putting on a bit of a show.

So I've been doing some research on efa's and came across "bulletproof coffee". The person has his own blend of coffee called "bulletproof" a google search of it will hook you up. I have some hemp coffee from Hippy butter some Magic Butter (unsalted, I don't think you want salty coffee), some organic Coconut Oil and a bottle of hemp oil. I took 3 cups (coffee mugs) of coffee (I suggest decaf until you know how it boosts you, you really don't want the jitters), 2 Tbls of each: Magic butter, coconut oil and hemp oil and blended it until incorporated. Slammed a cup, it's a little bit odd on the palate but really tasty. All this "good fat" is a really good way to start the day, so I medicated it, yes you can make a really good thing even better by adding cannabis. Big surprise there eh?

So far its a fantastic way to start your day, I strongly suggest it. Especially if you are trying to lose weight. It takes good fat to burn bad fat. Not that I'm trying to lose weight, just stay healthy but it's a proven method to lose weight (with just unmedicated, unsalted butter)and a proven energy source.

Making this got me thinking (which could be scary at times) I should medicate the coconut oil and some hemp oil and have a triple threat coffee in the morning :) or...just blend the butter, coconut oil and hemp oil(1: 1:1) all in the Magic Butter Machine and have my "bulletproof" coffee oil's medicated and pre-mixed. That sounds like a plan.
:peace:

Great minds think alike! I'm sipping my Bulletproof coffee as I type this.

I've decided that a version of this coffee will be available in my Tasting Room. Smoking weed an hour after drinking this coffee is a fantastic accompaniment!
