Curso's True High Brix!

Man...You're KILLING ME!!!!!...lmao No seriously...
Those strains sound fantastic!!! and making what I have brewing something to really look forward to. Yes it was a male gdp, I had him pollinate a bc bud depot GSC and well everything not being sealed I got a few extra's. The gdp's that did come up were both male, so I'll have to try again next year.

Thanks bro!!! The GDP crosses are making me all tingly wanting to try to fit one more grow in before we dip for the winter. The Co2 thing is still testing but so far so good, the first way we tried it. This next time we are going to use BHO. We just ordered a vacuum so we can make it properly. So the next round of tests should happen some time this week :high-five:

Sounds really good IM glad your having so much fun with GDP IM starting to think it's real gift is as a parent to some Wikkid Crosses, every cross I have made and popped all look better than their parents did at the same age, the Durple pream is growing like mad! And the GDP x hbd auto is a beast (tho it did not auto so far) it's bound to be a fast finisher and hbd is a more tasty fruitier flavor than GDP, I won't breed it (tho I thought about hitting it with hbd again) IM super pumped to see how the indigo endo does,it's already a different kind of plant with really aggressive branch &bushing , breeding is one of if not the favorite thing I love about growing!:thumb:
I have heard some scary things about bho ,explosions, contaminants,& also some really good things to, but interesting no doubt,IM a lightweight so concentrates spook me a little lol, I usually give away the hash that spiffy doesn't use ,I like butter and treats tho, anyway you'll have to share what you learn I like your take on things, my fellow toxic waltzer!

Making BHO is a little bit scary, but if done safely its solid. We do it outside, so there is no chance of us blowing up a house in the process. I actually went and got a G-pen to use. It's awesome!! I'm not a big fan of solvent hash either, but...It's a very viable way to infuse the THC into the glycerin, there are a few steps in between but we think we have a good handle on it. We are using Newport butane it seemed pretty clean.

We started a couple blue mystics to pick a mom from or the hydro grow. They were massive tiger stripped beans. We changed all the mom's and well...we had a bit of a cloning accident, they all f'in died. So we're starting over there again. We did a couple pineapple skunks too, I think that the PS will do very, very well in hydro. I swear I saw a couple seeds in a toxic blue ;)

So, it has been a few days since I added the recharge and topdressed them with some soil. I think they're starting become some pretty okay plants. I only took pics of 2 plants today a Pineapple Skunk and the Preggy GSC. The Pineapple Skunk is working on week 5. The preggy GSC still hasn't skipped a beat, needs nothing and is a happy plant. Just like the rest. I'm going to pop a dozen or so of these when they're are ready. We don't need to be down south in November. So as soon as the GSC x GDP are ready I'll have one more round in this journal. Anyways enough Blah, blah...

GSC x GDP

Love seeing those babies growing in mamas care, some strains don't let you see them so well,,looks like they will be done in a week or two, they will turn dark and maybe even rattle, I like it when they do that, then you know they are 100% done, you gonna show this contraption your building?

Sure I will once the pump is here. We aren't building anything, we bought it...its just a vacuum chamber, a one gallon stockpot with an acrylic lid and a gauge on top :) It's a common tool in purging extracts. Had the pump showed up today, we would be using it right about now...

I like seeing the babies too.

Well while I blaze this nice fat cone of Cookies I think I need to take a minute and put down what I am in the process of doing. I read Truth Seeker's post about sexing seeds Seeds - Female or Male - Can You Tell The Difference?

So I was like wtf I have a bunch of reg and fem seed up here, lets take a look. So I looked at a couple fem seeds then some regs. Yep that post was true enough for me to try it.

We have soaking: 2 HSO Sour Diesel #2 fem, and I picked out 2 "female seeds" (according to the pic in his post) of BID Seeds~ Indigo Endo (GDP x Purple Power) and a Chemdawg x Royal Purple Kush. I figured what the hell it wont hurt to try and I should have started something like 2 weeks ago. The beans that I am making can wait for another round (4-5 weeks).

So the veg tent got sanitized and is almost ready to get some new friends to take care of. I might go pick up a t5 fixture for the veg tent. I'm not using the full 400w so I think its a waste of loot to continue to use it. I have about 20 gallons of the 3rd run soil left over and its been cooking for a good amount of time now. I should get some banging plants. These seeds will veg for 5 maybe 6 weeks and I am going to try GLR in my veg tent this time around.

Everything in the flower tent got pulled out and cleaned up today. I did not take any brix readings. Once I get moving I hate stopping. My plants are super healthy and I am sure the brix is in the mid teens, just by looking at them I can tell you that with 100% assurance that I am right. They are by far the nicest plants I have grown, they're all big, healthy and dank smelling. The Pineapple Skunk is really skunky right now. They are all due for energy tomorrow, I'm starting the bulking phase on them. My plan is with this current run of soil is working out rather well. I am doing feed water water feed. But the feed is the same twice in a row, followed by watering two more times and switching the "feed" to transplant. The last feeding I plan on giving my plants is Cat drench. So it should end up something like transplant x2, cat drench x2, energy x2, transplant x2, cat drench (watering twice in between each feeding) , with brix on the 2nd feeding of each.

This is how I am feeding for FLOWER IN 3RD RUN SOIL please remember that before you think you are doing something wrong

:peace:

The thing of it is, I am doing each plant when it needs it. I'm not force feeding them. One pineapple skunk drinks 2x faster than the rest of the plants, so I have to feed and water accordingly. Sometimes they all get watered, sometimes just 2 do and the rest are still moist. They all have different needs it's actually kind of funny. Typical women...

Yep it sure is...We aren't growing in hydro, soil is funny we can't schedule our feedings. We can ball park it but if you have different strains, that's all it is, ball park...lol Spraying is 1/2 the amount with the 3rd run too Shotta every 2 weeks or 2 feedings is what I'm running with, keeps it simple. I have only used stress 2x too, in veg. I haven't used that stuff in flower since the first run. Haven't had a need too. Easy growing buddy....Just the way I like it...:)
