Curso's True High Brix!

May I ask where you did the CO2 extraction?

Thanks Guys!!! I am super happy with this set of plants, although it is odd to have to stand on a bucket to look at the top..

We did the Co2 extraction at a buddies house over a big table with black plastic spread over it. Both of us being Chef's we were happily shaking that powdered goodness all over that table "its like powdered sugar" is what my buddy was saying.

Thanks bro!!! If I could turn back time...I would go back and add 15-30lbs of castings to the 2nd run. It was fantastic but, I think adding castings would have made it better (if its possible).
 
I was checking in on the plants today and it looks like I'll be having some Pineapple Skunk x GDP seed's to check out too. I only noticed a few and they are on lower branches. To be honest I am really stoked about it. This Pineapple Skunk is a beast I am happy to have a few chances to get more of it and crossed with GDP should be an interesting flavor. I'll snap some pics tomorrow, I need to rotate some plants.

It's been a pretty boring week in my grow. They have made loads of progress and will have energy for the second time tomorrow. Next week is transplant for 2 feedings. I'm going to skip brix this weekend and give it to them with the reproductive energy of transplant and really get them going next weekend.

Super healthy, strong and vibrant green, that is definitely the classic High Brix look as Doc Pointed out. Great job my friend. Also, the cookies look like they turned out phenominal!! I hope that mine come close to what yours turned out. Whoa!!!

Man you would not believe how long it took for us to cut those leaves out of silk that look like cannabis. It really throws the cops for a loop...LOL!!!

Thanks Ice, dude..You wouldn't believe how hard these stems are. They really are like fiberglass. The cookies that I harvested first really came around in the jar. I smoked a joint of it last night, really nice mellow buzz and it tasted chocolate minty to boot. I think you're really going to like growing it, she's fun to grow.

I ended up recharging and top dressing today. I had fed them before I had made the decision to do it. So everything got a Tbl short of 1/4c then topped off with the cooked soil. We'll see what happens in a couple days.
 
Hey doc we just bought a kit of high brix and have a few questions, first we bought the promix bx and amended it with perlite and 30lbs of worm castings because promix hp is 90 dollars a bag to get it sent, you said bx will work fine as long as we add perlite well from the info I gathered promix hp has dolomite lime in it I think and I don't think the bx does, should I add lime or oyster shell or its fine with the castings and perlite. I want to do whatever I have to do to make the bx just like the hp I don't mind spending a few dollars I just refuse to pay some douchebag company $45 to ship a bale of hp to me. After that I add one ziplock bag of ammendments stir up letting sit for 10 days before use right? Do I have to water the soil mix day 1 or not at all or periodically though out the 10 days letting it bake in the sun? If I add lime or shell how much?? Also how do I test the brix count, do I need to buy something or can I make it?

But then again it's you growing,big time kick ass grower, the gsc sounds so good I must admit to my coveting lol IM thinking I will follow your lead and create some GDP x pineapple skunk beans just so happens I have GDP pollen and a PS in veg very convenient :high-five: so how does that co2 thing work? Did you post it and I missed it,or is it something you should not post? Is it dangerous? My curiosity is piqued,, I don't know if I congratulated you on motm a well deserved win!:cheertwo: got my vote:thumb:

whoa! Slow down bro.

First of all, do not add any lime. Just use the amendments in the kit.

Second of all, the soil needs to cook for 30 days....not ten days.

I actually just started really reading it right after I posed that, my partner was actually reading it so ive been listening to him but I'm just gonna read it now that a few things have slowed down, I don't know where he came up with 10 days because I always thought it was 30 too, that why i asked u to begin with!! that's what we do when we ammend our soil, he's ADHD so not very good at reading and remembering. Anyways thanks, but we should be good now I wasn't sure about the lime so I figured I'd make sure since we added the ammendments today.

Thanks bro!!! The GDP crosses are making me all tingly wanting to try to fit one more grow in before we dip for the winter. The Co2 thing is still testing but so far so good, the first way we tried it. This next time we are going to use BHO. We just ordered a vacuum so we can make it properly. So the next round of tests should happen some time this week :high-five:
 
You using a gdp male for the crosses? Have you kept any females? I take it you grabbed a pack of kens gdp original gdp? Shit is fire huh, I have a gdp mom we recently crossed to our mango haze stud, and the nicest male I've seen in twelve or so years our goji og male, the gdp mango haze will be called Grandpa's Haze, our buddy ran 10 f1s we made and got 6 male 4 female, and the shit is beautiful, two of the phenos were really unbelievable. Better yield the the GDP, better structure and spacing, has the classic GDP taste on the inhale and fresh mangoes on the exhale, tastes great till the end of the bowl and smells like grapes and tropical fruits crushed in a bowl. The buds weren't as dense as the straight GDP but still has nice density, a little better resin then the gdp mom which you can check out at my handle on i see mag in the gdp album. Better head high then the gdp and a nice body high too like your covered in a down blanket not quite as good as gdp body high. The other pheno is a mix of grape candy and mangoes on the inhale with a melonish skunky spice on the exhale, it leans a little more toward the haze and gives a serious cerebral high with a nice little body high too. We havent seen the gdp x goji yet and haven't run either because when we do we're going to have to do all the grandpas haze and nothing else and same with gdp x goji so its looking like we will start around the beginning of January so we can run the right numbers to find nice phenos for breeding, our plan is to bring it to f3 and also planning to bx to the gdp mom and see what we get! When they are ready ill def send some out to whoever wants to run them as long as they put up some pics!!
