Curso's True High Brix!

GSC's...man these are looking like nice plants. The 2 I had topped got lst'ed and topped again and the not topped plants got bent. They love it!!! The bent plants are already reaching up for the light. I'm probably going to transplant them into 5gl's if not this afternoon sometime this week. That will give them a couple weeks to dig in before I flower them. I'll probably take some pics later too :)

I realized something today, I haven't sprayed the flowering plants with brix in like 2 weeks. So, I took them out and sprayed them, they're all happy plants again. I also fired 2 gsc, toxic blue 33, cheese candy auto and 2 pineapple skunks in the flower tent. Leaving 5 GSC and a CVK in there vegging and getting trained for a little while.

Hey Curso, sorry to intrude on your journal but I have a few questions you might can help me with. When you did your brix experiment with cfls what was your soil mix? How did you go about feeding and spraying? Or better yet if you remember do you care to jus elaborate on it. I'm experimenting with high brix myself and using cfls. I would really appreciate your help and incite. I see you had success. Thank you in advance!

The mix I used was the T&J planters II, bristol forte, 6-5-3 and cooked with T&J tea for a month (they have a product with all that mixed together called BioMinerals 2.5-4-.2 General Purpose Fertilizer is made from Biosol 6-1-3 (14 C), Planters II (10 C), Lime (6 C), Soft Rock Phosphate (5 C), and Gypsum (3 C).) I would've gotten it instead of buying everything separate). To one bag of pro-mix hp I added a small bag of happy frog. I gave them the t&j tea weekly (really strong shit be careful it'll eat all the food in the soil fast if mixed to strong 20:1 is a good mix of the tea to water ratio). Spraying is weekly with pgr and amaze (not on the same day, do like prg tue, and amaze on sat) bloomit..use it when you flip and once the flowers are set, 1oz per qt of water (I break it down to a cup .25 oz/8oz) on them all.

I had a ton of cfl in there. Small yield compared to what I pulled after I got rid of the cfl, but it was great smoke. However it was enough to have some smoke and get rid of enough to get HID :) I agree with Doc that environment is super important. I can notice the difference in the lighting I just changed (600 from 400) huge difference. It will come to you in time. Something you will have to remember THIS SHIT IS SUPER EASY, DON'T GET CAUGHT UP IN "THIS IS TO EASY I MUST BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG" and start messing things up. It's fine to stare at your plants because there is nothing to do to them, you'll find yourself doing that fairly often. There is tons more I just can't think of it all right now, shoot me a link if you end up doing a journal (I have sig's turned off ppls sigs are longer than most posts and it annoys me) I'll happily follow along and help as much as I can. The freebie auto's did well for me in the CFL by the way.
PS. Please pretty please with some CVK on top if you order that stuff from T&J get the yucca extract for your tea. You will get Gnats with that tea!!!! They love it IDK why the Yucca works but it does some very beneficial stuff for your plants along with conditioning the soil.

Close bro she is on week 7 I'm guessing that it'll go 10, I vegged it for a month I think, it could have been a bit shorter. Yeah these plants respond very well to the sprays. I could watch the green coming back into the leaves, it was pretty cool to watch to be honest (I was baked).

Thanks bro!!! I can't wait to smoke some of both to be honest. That s47 is so damn stanky I smile when I open the tent and get hammered with their smell ;)

Blueberry Gum gave me 2.5oz of dried bud. I vaped a bud of it last night, lol...I took the first hit and almost chewed, thats how close to bubble yum it tastes. Lovely buzz too super happy, I am looking forward to it cured. It didn't taste like that in the T&J soil, it was good, nothing like this though I was bbbblllllaaaaazzzzzeeeedddd after finishing the vape. The vegging GSC and CVK got some more LST last night in my euphoric state of mind. I have grown that strain for almost a year now, it has yet to be as good as it is right now, just dry. Thanks curso for taking the time to help me. :thanks: I'm going to give the biominerals a try and I'll be sure to get the yucca with the tea. I will try to get a journal up but if not im going to document it and take pics for me anyways and I may post a timeline of what I achieved in a journal when I'm done if I shall succeed. I'm also going to be getting Docs kit soon enough and do a side by side of the two for my purposes. Majority will be in organic soil with oc+ being that I do trust Docbud's opinions so I will have some to fall back on that's for sure lol. But thanks again. And loving that cvk :bravo:, will have to give that a try once I have invested in my bigger light.
 
You're welcome dk, I'm sure whatever way you decide you will do fine, you're smart enough to ask good questions. Questions are good they mean you are engaged in what you are doing. The CVK have all been pretty nice plant's, if the one in veg is female it'll be hanging out for a little while, it's growing very well and would be worth keeping around, I plan on flowering a clone out once I get another few branches. It's giving the GSC a tough act to follow, just the scent and look of these CVK flowers is going to be hard to beat. It's almost scary to think of how big that CVK would be if I had grown it in a 5gl pot. It's going into one this time with a little training it'll be massive ;)

I am most likely going to transplant the vegging plants Sunday, they need watered today. They are all growing really fast and the 2 I put into flower are loving the new light. I have them vegging in 300w of MH (400w@75%) so when they hit that 600w light they're like BOOM!!!! I'm impressed with the BC Bud Depot GSC's thus far, can't wait to see them flower (hence why I threw a couple in ;)) they're all growing at the same rate for their age (they cracked 2 at a time 3-5 days apart) aside from the mutant it's still a little bit behind and had its 2 branches spread out.

This is one of the GSC in flower she got some bloomit and I forgot that I had it double strength so there are some spots on the leaves. It's been corrected and we'll see how they fly.

I ended up transplanting 2 GSC and the CVK into 5gl pots today. I'm not going to flower the mutant in a 5gl I think it'll be a waste of space so, it'll go into flower once space is available. The other 2 are the topped and the super cropped one, they're going to get root bound before I transplant them, should be another week or so. I'll most likely tie back up and super crop the transplanted plants tomorrow morning as they should be nice and soft from watering @ transplant.

Wow. I was just thinking if you keep that canopy low and thin like you would with a 400, just imagine what that 600 is going to do. You're gonna instruct many in what weed is supposed to be like. And that is a great thing.

Thanks Doc!!! I figured that I had these incredible seeds and it would be a shame, no, a waste to not give these some proper treatment and veg them out and train them some. If everything goes according to plan they should all fit in that tent very nice, once the cvk and skunk47 are done. Wire is cheap and bending is fun, and I'll never want to run out of GSC once I get some, I am sure. After seeing how that CVK grew I think with some good training that will be one bad ass plant too. My plan is to not let them get any bigger around than the pot, then go from there with the height. Whatever bending and bondage that gets done will be done within the confines of the pot, so we'll see what I come up with.

I am very confident in the quality of everything that is growing, I have had a few people tell me the sour diesel#2 and the blueberry gum are both the best they've ever had. They can't finish a bowl of the sour diesel #2 between 4 people. I told them to wait for the CVK if they though that is good. It is great I'm not going to lie, I am holding my breath for whats coming. Pure skunk x pure ak high brix (15 brix last time I checked btw) is going to be so killer, it's all mine ;) it looks and smells so good.
