Growing with the kit is like being handed the cheat codes for every game ever made. Having said that, I can't wait for the GSC!!!! I've grown the CVK out a few times now its crazy good. I ended up kinda frying the CVK in the first run soil with bloomit, so getting some of this CVK will be really nice. The plants in flower are all in first run soil, the vegging plants are in second run and they are doing better than the plants I had in the 2nd run of T&J soil. The T&J 2nd run was impressive and so far the 2nd run kit is blowing it away.

The tent's appear to have made some nice progress during my absence. The GSC seem to like being topped, so the rest will get it too. I didn't get into the flower tent, its night time I don't feel like waking them up. Plus I just drove 12 hours and smoked half a joint of that diesel, I'm pretty lazy.

I'll take some pic's tomorrow, I'm betting that the Blueberry Gum is nice and fat now ;)

Did you water up close to harvest, or were they on the dry side?

I am just wondering about if one should harvest a thirsty plant and stick it in a wash solution. Maybe it should be watered before picking if it's gonna be washed?

I like to give them a good watering 3 days before I harvest (2qt of water in a 3gl pot). I for some reason like to harvest well hydrated plants, I have no reasoning for it at all, other than it's been what I have been doing and hasn't given me any ill effect. I wash them with the lemon juice and baking soda/water too, I does take the flavor to a different level.

Just the instructions doing their thing ;) I did spray Bloomit on a couple plants (in early bloom) I think that CVK is one of them
The next time I take that CVK out I'll snap some pics for you, I love the pink/purple that flower shows. I have given the veg tent stress a couple times, when I topped them they got it for a couple days and the mutant's have had it a few times. Like the instructions say "if your plants look perfect don't waste stress on them" I might start on brix with them next weekend, we'll see where they're at. Personally I think that watering per Doc's instructions in his thread is the key.

Doc's kit is super easy!!!! It's honestly growing with cruise control. On top of it all its top shelf medicine. It's the best $75 I've spent on "nutes" for my grow. I am looking forward to ordering the 2nd amendment kit here really soon, as the first run soil is finishing up in the flower tent.
The CVK..what a pain in the ass strain that has been for me (its super easy to grow). I ordered 6 female, got 4 dudes, called the tude and they sent me 6 more (the 2 in flower are clones). ONE POPPED!!!! So I am hopeful that I have a female vegging. I would grow it again or any cali connection strain for that matter, the yield, colors and smoke honestly are worth it.

I am really enjoying watching these finish, the skunk47's (I haven't taken any pic's of them in a while) are really enjoying the new light. They seemed to have gotten really frosty and put on weight over night.
I love the CVK, I'll definitely grow a SFV cross again :) I have high hopes for a couple of these GSC too, they're growing like crazy.

I am pretty good at following things to the "T". I have yet to grow something with the pink and purple hues. I got a couple laughing buddah going now that from the pics are supposed to be pinkish. we will see. I hope my female to male ratio is better than you got with the CVK. Cool of the Tude to send you some more.

I think it's cold temps at night getting me the color on these. My wife like to sleep with the window open and we live in the north. I'm guessing that root ball never got over 70 degrees. Yeah I was happy with the tude for hooking me up I had to go straight to bc bud depot to get the GSC (glad I got them when I did they raised the price like $50 after winning the hybrid LA Can Cup) the tude was sold out. I think that it was just some fail packaging to be honest (reg for fem it happens I guess). The one I grew in the T&J soil went pink for me too, it didn't have the purple's like these ones do along with it.
