Curso's True High Brix!

very pretty plants man the 600 will crank them up, i cant wait to see what my dual 600s can do!!
I too am looking forward to what those dual 6's are going to produce for you. Thanks BID they're getting there :) I'll take some pic's this afternoon.

These seedlings are cranking, I'm impressed with what popped of the GSC's, could be the soil too it's the 2nd run. I have a 3 sour diesel #2 clones in it, they look pretty nice too :)

After making some sour diesel butter, caramel brownies sounded fantastic. Yesterday ended up being a great Sunday of a brownie coma. So...pic's never got taken, I was really lazy to say the least.

Thanks for sharing your grow with the community, its all good reading and very informative.
I have a question for you, do you still spray aspirin and yucca extract to induce plant defenses (SAR) ?

You are very welcome!!
I did spray that on my last grow it made a difference in the last 3 weeks of bloom spraying once a week. I noticed that the trics elongated or curled over, if you will. The Yucca helped tons with the gnats when I was using the T&J tea.
On this grow I have only sprayed with brix and stress (and a couple got bloomit) I haven't touched the yucca in this journal. I haven't had any reason to. No pests at all, I haven't seen a bug in my grow in forever all thanks to high brix.

How do you know for sure if it will repel all pests? Even spidermites in areas where they are known to be plentiful? I have had a known problem with them and also I was thinking of trying this growing method as I'm switching to all organic eating and I wouldn't mind have all organic bud too.

I have spider mites. You can't get rid of the bastards. They just don't do much harm to the plant....to the point where there's no sign of having mites. The plants deal with pests as long as brix is over 12 or so.

Congrats on getting off the horrible food chain of the commercial food industry. That food is horrible!!!! It makes me feel bad knowing how bad the food is (nutritionally) and have to serve it (being a chef). Today's commercial farm's food is basically null, it's just filling and is why there are so many health problems today.

I wouldn't trust the Yucca on spider mites (I can't personally say I've had to use it on them, I've not had any issues with them) I would trust that following the instructions with Doc's kit would help any pest issue. Given that the area has been sanitized.

High Brix (basically over 12 brix) = higher defenses which seems to repel basically everything. If you do end up doing straight organic's the Yucca is for sure something you would want to look into. I've noticed that the gnats love the organics. From the Affordable gardening products for gardeners and growers.
Yucca Extract, another natural organic product, is mixed into brewed Natures Own Growing System Soil Life Tea and stimulates the beneficial bacteria on plant surfaces and in the soils. Yucca's saponin action makes plant cells more permeable to nutrient and water uptake. All of our Yucca is food grade quality. Check out the many human consumption uses of Yucca Extract. Yucca can be taken to detoxify a smoker in about 20 days so they can stop smoking with no withdrawal symptoms.
Their pamphlet has much more info. I'm just not sure where one is, I'll have to look for one :)

See what happens when I reply slow...lol :)
Doc's kit is kicking ass in my flower tent!!!!! I am really happy with the way everything is shaping up. Sour Diesel #2 and the Blueberry Gum are really nice plants. The CVK and Skunk47 are a bit slower but the CVK is growing some massive buds and still smells like a bag if skittles, the Skunk47 still smells like AK.

The mutant GSC, Cheese Candy auto and Toxic Blue 33 all got transplanted into 2gl smart pots. Everything else in the veg tent is cranking and looking forward to blooming in 600w of light :)

So here's what's shaking...

i just started some hso blue dream and sour d #2. couldnt find shit about the #2 til this thread lol thanks!!!!!!!!!!! they look awesome bud!
Thanks man :) The Sour D is really nice everyone who smokes it loves it, I like the butter too ;) I got the Pineapple Skunk too :) but they're just getting started. I've smoked some of that blue dream its really nice too. They'll be bigger this time around with more light :high-five:

Well the new light showed up. Just as we were leaving for a couple days...So nonetheless its still in the box, I didn't want to hook it up and dip for a couple cycles. Everything was just grand when we left, both tents got watered before I closed them up and bounced.

I did top 2 GSC (I want a friend to have a cut of this asap) and the CVK and put them in rooters and they are in the cloner with some sour d's. I also defoliated one of the GSC and the CVK, the rest of the babies are looking like nice plants all growing the same (aside from the retarded 2 GSC they're special) its looking to me like picking a mother is going to be fairly easy.

I'm thinking that the Diesel's and the Blueberry Gum's will be really close to done when I get back. The Skunk47 was starting to put on some weight and smell so good. Chem Valley Kush I'm just gonna let those hang back and chill they're both just doing their thing, tons of golf ball buds and some really nice cola's I topped one of them she liked it. I really like the CVK, SFV OGK X Chemdawg (IV I think)can't really go wrong. Hopefully this one last seed that I have going is a female and I can keep her going.

I'lll take some pic's in a couple days.
