Are they organic or synthetic nutes?

If organic, I'd be VERY careful about using them in a hydro system and definitely keep an eye out for bacteria growth when you first try them.

Synthetic nutes should be no problem.

Its day 19 of flower today so i have started pruning the plants. clearing off all the sucker branches and lower fan leaves. this increases airflow around the plants and gives heavier flowers. the led plants look to be a week ahead of the hps plants. i only pruned 5 plants today because i wasnt feeling well. i will get the rest done tomorro and get some more pictures up then.

Most are synthetic Mr Krip, so i just will have to get some liquid sea weed...
Thanks for the help.

I have just finished pruning up the plants. day 20 of 12/12. They wont have any more foliage removed until the final week of flower when i strip all of the large leaves off.

You can clearly see the difference between the hps and led plants. the led plants look a week ahead of where the hps are.

I wasnt as brutal with the LEDs plants with defol as i usually am, this is due to the sheer number of bud sites. I remove clear bottom 1/3 of the plant and that increases airflow and bud density. Looking forward to some monster colas' :)

Feed is now:

Calmag+ 1ml/l
Ionic Coco Bloom 2.4ec (Tap water 0.7ec/350ppm, calmag boosts to 1.0ec/500ppm, total Ionic Bloom 1.4ec/700ppm)
Buddhas Tree P/K 0.15ml/l
Supervit 1drop/4litres (only for 1 feed after defoliation)
Sensizym 2ml/l

PH 6.0

Plants are super healthy but there is some bleaching on the tops of the tallest LED plants. there isnt much i can do about this as lights are at maximum height and highest tops are only a few inches from the panel. I have no room to bend and im not a real fan of super cropping anyway. Next round the plants will be lower and bushier. Also a different strain that wont stretch as much.

They leds look the biz your plants are looking great, real neat and tidy looking. I remember reading somewhere (in one of your journals) that you dont bother topping your plants - why is that? are there cons as well as the pros to topping.

Thanks

Fucken hell! Those plants are the business. Forget donkey dicks. Those are going to be some elephant schlong colas. :)

What a long day, 8 hours in hospital for biliary colic pain :( Only to be told they think its muscular (language barrier in spain im thinking) and sent away.... Nightmare :(

Anyway I'm going to collect some La Nina clones today to start the next round of flowering. I will do 16 bigger plants this time. Im kind of pissed i only have half the space full now, its a waste. Of course I was hoping for less males in this bunch but never mind. Its day 23 of flower today and providing i take these plants to 63 days that gives me aaround 40-45 days of veg for the new clones which is more than sufficient to get the plants nice and bushy.

After deliberation I am going to stick with coco because I think the high salt content of my water will cause more issues in rockwool. But I am going to mix it with perlite and make a drip fed system to make my life a little easier. I have to travel around alot in the coming weeks and months so I need to leave this space real low maintenance for when im gone. Also by adding the perlite and the drip system i will be able to feed 2 or 3 times per day and have even more o2 in rootzone which should speed up growth even more.

Its seems my issues with my electricity are resolved so i should be able to comfortably run 4 panels now providing i can get them hung. I worry they will pull the tent down as the tent isnt really designed to have almost 100kg suspended from it when you include the carbon filter. I will have a play around with it.

Anyway here are some old pictures from some previous grows just for entertainment.
