Cultivator's NinthPlanet LED 4400W

Omg ya falling to bits Cult that is age catching up with ya...

You more likely appreciate a strain with a touch of CBD in for the rheumatism it will take the edge of the ache of it, er i have inflamed tendons in my forearm's steroid injections didn't work that was some 10 year ago tho but a little bit of weed with CBD helps a lot

The thing about CBD apart from pain relief, it kind of counter reacts the THC effect a little less of a racer high experience i find that is like smoking a spliff or ice bong, vaping is a total different experience tho can not comment on tinctures at the moment.

I just stay away from the couch lock weed even tho i do grow one strain Bubblicious by nirvana nice 'n' relaxing, good pain relief but in general i fall to sleep after one of those pretty pronto & excellent to get to sleep with.

DMT ah, smells like acrid cats piss ! if taking a hit of a bottle tho but i do understand you can make the shamans brew for a longer experience... ya it tells you about your self from what i hear from a close friend changed his life/opinion about stuff, the next dimension experience !

Im def looking for a higher cbd to thc ratio now. the oil i have just leaves me baked to death.

DMT is serious mate. Definately opens your mind up to the world. Its helped chill me out and relate to the world better.

Again im having issues with pic uploads. Havent had a chance to jump on a wifi network yet. Its been manic here with all the fires but its settling down now. Will do my best to get an update done soon.

Finally a pictorial update.

So we are 10 days into flower or maybe 11. Plants are looking real healthy but are in desperate need for a prune, however i will wait another week to be sure plants are finished stretching so that i dont cause unnecessary stress.

First we have pics taken today. you can see the tight internodal spacing prevalent with LEDS. This strain generally doubles to trebles in size during flower under hps. Right now they have barely doubled and it looks like stretching is slowing down. They are very bushy considering they were not vegged too long.

Here we have the males, in the end there were 11 males. I was hoping for less but you can never be sure what you get with reg seeds, you can be sure you get strong plants however.

Here is a picture under the LEDS

I will try and get a video tomorro or monday with more detail in.

Right now the plants are recieving:

Advanced Nutes calmag+ 1.2ml/L

Ionic Coco bloom 2.4ec (EC with water and calmag+ 1.0)

sensizym 2ml/L

ph 5.8

Very nice indeed, they look very happy and healthy. When you pull the males out do you just bin/destroy them or do you use them for something else.

Is the calmag+ only added if there is a deficiency.

Thanks

I just bin the males. they are no use to me as i do not breed. You could juice the males but these are not organic plants and had not been flushed appropriately so i wouldnt not consume them.

Calmag should really be added whenever growing under LEDS as deficiencies will show real quick if not added. Calmag should also be used when growing in coco coir but is needed in much smaller amounts unless using RO water then you would use more.

These plants are super healthy but im regretting not having a longer veg and using smart pots. I will start some plants for the next run on monday, clones of Amnesia Haze most likely.

Interesting stuff. I was just on the AN website reading about calmag+ then drifted onto reading about some of there other gear that you have recommended in the past journals like B-52, Bud Ignitor and Voodoo juice. It can be pretty overwhelming for a novice (me) with the amount of different nutes, boosts and additives that are available the list is never ending! ive not bought anything nute wise yet.

Anyway - tomorrows another day and im off to my bed....goodnight folks!

There are lots of nutes and additives and its very easy to get carried away and spend loads of money on things you dont need. In the beginning i say use a quality base nutrient, a root stimualtor and a quality boost. then once you have a few grows out you can mess around with different additives etc.

As for the smart pots it should read that i regret not using them. I only have 2 plants in smart pots in this space and the rest are in plastic pots. I would take smart pots over plastic. I only used the plastic pots as i didnt have enough smart pots handy. Much better root aeration with smartpots.

Hard to say right now as when i used panels last time the plants were vegged longer and in bigger pots. I think i will get alot less this time, im guessing in total about 50oz dry. plants are too small to give real numbers but we see. next time i will be reverting to all smart pots and i will start vegging next week. im going to try get all 4 panels up in the tent also.

I agree with this 420%! :thumb:

Learn how to grow with some base nutes and a root zone optimizer. If you're using RO, maybe add some Cal-Mag to the mix.

Almost everything else is just to get a little bit more, a little bit better, etc. but is not required to grow some good quality plants.

:Namaste:

Thanks for that advice. I'm going to go with AN ph perfect micro, grow, bloom for my base, Voodoo juice for roots and buhddas tree boost.
I like the sound of that Great White Mycorrhizae as well. I will be growing in my own diy rdwc system and ive learned that res temps are very important. I don't have a chiller yet but fancy making a diy one out a fridge its very simple. I remember that you mentioned in previous journals there was 2 other additives you would add if res temps were running a little high, i have them noted down some where.

When buying nutes like AN ph perfect M,G,B i'm obviously better buying the 5L tubs because its cheaper but im wondering how long they stay fresh for? and how long would they last in a grow like mines (8x30L buckets + header pot so 9x30L buckets) no point me buying 5L if it goes off or degrades over time if you know what i mean.

I apologise for going on about this in your thread. I think if i posted in another forum or started a thread asking these things i would get bombarded with loads a different answers and opinions and then it just gets confusing.

Thanks!

I've been looking at the haleia chillers. Ive got a lot of time on my hands and im good at diy so i think make one with the fridge its actually really simple to do, getting the temp correct might be the tricky part though but trial and error should sort that. Apart from the chiller all i need is the haleia 100lpm air pump & air stones and i'll be ready to start building the system..... i'm looking forward to it.

Thanks
