Cultivator's NinthPlanet LED 4400W

Well bro after a long time away i see you still handle your business and do it well,Spain is a nice move bro cheers. Im in and starting a nice grow very soon loving your plants. Wish you a quick healing bro, ive started from the beginning of the journal, nice led switch.

So today is day 14 of flower and the plants are looking fantastic, I count flower from first day of flipping lights to 12/12. for the short veg time they had in being in small pots they look amazing. Ive kept the nute mix very basic due to the high ec of the tap water that i am using, didnt want to risk complications. Having said that my nute mix is still comin in at 2.4-2.6ec (1200ppm +)

the mix is just basic 1 part base nutrient, calmag and some sensizym. Ive added great white mycorrhizae once per week with a top feed. usually i use bud stimulators and i cant see how they could improve on the LED plants. The HPS still look 5 or 6 days behind the LED and are much more stretchy but still healthy. This is first time ive seen the LED side by side with HPS. Ive seen them in different rooms but it doesnt give you the same perspective as having them right next to each other. If it wasnt for the high initial cost of the panels Id be switching all of my HPS to these panels, it would cost me nearly £500000 to swap like for like now! More than 10x the cost of the equipment i have now. But I will definately be switching slowly slowly.

Its day 14 and there are preflowers everywhere.

The plants are not as uniform as i would like but its tough when using seeds to get everything the same. Plants are real strong though. Clones are faster and more reliable long term but healthy seeds def give stronger, healthy plants.

Here is a side by side of the HPS and LED, sorry about the poor light. I cant add anymore lights at this minute in time due to electrical issues so it will be 1 hps and 2 led for now. hoping to get all 4 panels up next run plus 8 600w hps.

Here are the HPS plants. Notice the difference in internodal spacing and development of preflowers. The HPS plants are way stretchier but they dont look bad. Also its not a fair side by side of course as they are seeds and theres cross light pollution but it gives you an idea.

Hope you all like what you see. I will introduce a low dose boost to the nute mix from tomorro to get these buds forming but i will detail the new mix when i make it and start it.

Peace.

They look happy and green :)
We have about the same climate. (Mediterranean) My grow space is outside but in a cardboard box, We still have 25 C.
Have you grown outside the tent at all to see what strain does well where you are?
Pineapple chunk and Deep Cheese seemed to love my climate.. (Deep Cheese died from stupidity)

yeah i grew some autos outdoors. photo plants are a no go as humidity is high in autumn so bud rot major issue and big plants would also be an issue. Also ive grown indoors for years and years so its just what im accustomed too. get much bettrr plants indoors gemerally because i control most factors

Yeah in veg the plants stay short and compact, they dont bush out as much. But you can clearly see the difference betwen the 2 light sources. There are bud sites all over the LED plants. Im confident they will all join up into weighty heads, not the little nugs ive seen so many times from LED. The plants are very healthy and remember im using pretty shit tap water with high salt content which makes it even more impressive.

The males started sprouting nuts after 7 days and looked really really strong plants, shame i couldnt use them. going to start them on a weak boost today as preflowers are developing nicely.

I hope you don't mind a pic Cultivator but your comment there regarding weighty heads from LED made me want to post. I do believe LED is getting much better as I got plenty of buds like this from my last grow under my newer LED's :thumb:

I can't wait to see the finish from the grow, we need a 2 week flowering strain lol

Nice work, Cult! :bravo:

Your girls look extremely happy so stop nit-picking about uneven canopy height! :laughtwo:
It's not a SOG/SCROG and with the different strains, etc, you're doing an awesome job! :welldone:

Yeah i know weighty heads are possible, ive had them both times ive ran these panels. Its more a generalisation of what ive seen grown elsewhere. At the end of the day the higher quality panels do produce results but you have to be prepared to spend the dosh....

And your right krip its not a scrog/sog but i like uniformity lol

I am collecting clones tomorro or fri and they will come in rockwool. I was wondering if anyone wants to see a rockwool grow instead of coco? or maybe scrogged coco grow? What are peoples thoughts? I was wanting to do super soil but finding it real difficult to get some of the ingredients that i need. Im open to suggestions....

Big blocks or crutons? I vote 5gal or 7gal filled with cruton size Rockwool.

And I would love to see you grow 1 plant in their big block Rockwool.

:Love::cco::Love:

Side by side would be killer Cult. :adore:
