ok so heres a few pics. first pics show some deficiency, this is 100% because i lowered the calmag. very simple fix. I need to figure out the best solution for getting my water ec down also. I might have to bite the bullet and instal ro filter but its a prob because the property uses alot of water as it is running pool and 3 bathrooms. Its only a tiny grow so the extra cost of running more water isnt really that worth it but im considering it. I hate wasting water also, especially in spain where there are big droughts, just because i can afford more water doesnt make it cool to waste it. RO wastes alot of water. Other option is to set up in another property with water filters pre installed, this is looking like a more likely option, I have my eye on a beauty of a property if i can get it for a reasonable price. See what happens.
This one here is a plant from under the HPS. As you can see no deficency there, for sure the plants have more demands under led. Also have to factor the leds are putting out 1000w now of actually power draw and hps is 600w, so not true like for like.
Heres a few pics of another small grow. 6 x 600w hps and 13 plants. Should have been 16 plants but 3 seedlings died real early and I had no seeds spare and i didnt want plants a week behind as i would have had to order and germ more, so 13 it is. These will bush out and use the 3600w of light. should be some nice plants. They were potted into the 5gal smart pots yesterday and had been in 500ml plastic pots for 12 days before being potted up.
I might add the flood drain grow from my last journal to this journal also just to keep it interesting and I may add some other bits. we'll see. i always start a journal with the intention of only showing 1 grow but i get bored. i wanted to show a bigger grow here but i think it safer if i dont show anything more than a 10 or 12 light room. Still plenty going on to keep it interesting. Going to start a large NFT set up to do something different for a change also. Im also going to do a super soil round under the leds, its proving difficult to locate some of the raw materials in spain but i will find them. i need to crack on with it though or the soil wont be ready for the next round.
