Cultivator's NinthPlanet LED 4400W

Very nicely done, cultivator. Subbed myself to follow your journey. Couple Qs, is there any optimal timing on when to pluck off clones from mother plant or it doesnt matter, meaning we can clone in veg or in flower. I only have one grow site so I do not have special site for just veg mode or flower mode or pollination mode. Only the one I have now. It kinda sucks because there is downtime and no overlap of veg and flow so perpetual grow is definitely out of question. I just hope this first grow of mine will provide enough till next harvest.

its best to take clones in veg. i dont like taking them in flower. but it is possible.to take them first 2 weeks of flower. ajust make sure that the mother is healthy and try to take larger clones if possible.

Made a huge rookie error. I thought the HPS plants were looking further behind the LED plants, much further than they should. Then the penny dropped after seeing a question in the questions forum. I had put a new extension in the tent 10 days or so ago and there was a switch on the extension with a bright red light. Its been on constant. just behind the HPS plants. Im not on the ball at the moment with all the painkillers im taking. Hopefully the plants wont herm because of it. We see what happens.


I got the new clones potted up yesterday also. Ive put them in straight coco but when i pot them up they will go in a coco perite mix and i will build a new run to waste top feed drip system. The water is the main issue i have decided against rockwool or other hydro models. Im getting away with poor water in coco but the more pure the hydro set up, the more the water quality is even more important.

I went with Amnesia Haze clones so these should be real quality. I will get some pics up soon.
 
Easy done mate I brought a greenhouse space heater once an after a few days I thought about the red light so I had to go down in middle of the night an turn it off cuz I got paranoid Fingers crossed for ya
Have ya grown amnesia haze before there's the odd clones of it going round my way sometimes but I haven't ever grown it
 
Happened to me before my bubba kush hermied good luck with that, i have a question bro.
Have you ever had to veg with an hps 600, i might have to as my 250 cfl dual spectrum is not doing the job poor coverage. Is it worth it or should i go for a mh lamp.? Thanks for the feedback bro great to have reliable sources to go to.:cheertwo::thanks:
 
Yeah hopefully they be fine, its the first time ive ever done it.

Ive grown Amnesia Haze several times. The real haze is around 11weeks flower but the version i have is a 9 week strain. I havent grown this particular version of it but it comes from a good source. Its all the Dutch want, that or Cheese. Its quality mate.

I always veg with a 600w HPS. Prefer it to an MH bulb, although I only tried vegging with MH once and I ran into all sorts of heat problems. I have AC now, so that won't be an issue but the HPS has always done well for me in veg. So why bother changing it.

Yeah i mostly veg with hps. this is a small grow where power consumption is a problem so i start plants under cfls before going into the tent. But generally i always veg under HPS.
 
Hey Cultivator, just wanted to thank you for all the advice you had kindly given me the other day. I've decided to take your advice. I'm going to grow from seed instead as I think it is a better option as you say until I've improved my skills. I've been reading through your latest LED journal and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

I now need to buy some seeds as I do not plan on using these plants for clones, I'm going to start fresh. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to inform me of the good seed company you use which I've seen you mention in your journal?

I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on some seeds so i can begin germinating them. I'm very excited to put what I've been reading about for so long finally into practice and start getting to physically learn more.

Also if i wanted to ask you some questions about the oil you made how would i do that? My nan currently has cancer and is having radio therapy treatment. I have been telling her about the amazing things which can be done with cannabis oil, I've watched many Rick Simpsons documentary's and its truly amazing what can be done with this wonder plant.

I also want to wish you all the best with your health problems and treatment! It really does have some amazing healing properties, i really hope it will help ease some of your pain and offer some comfort to your life.

Your plants look amazing, i cant believe the difference between the HPS and the LED. It's remarkable to be able to see it side by side.

No problem. sorry for late reply, ive had a busy couple of days.

Im guessing your based in the UK, if so then use seedmadness for seeds. they are great company with some excellent deals to be had.

As for the oil its pretty simple to make. you need 100% alcohol like everclear and you basically wash the bud and evaporate the alcohol off. if you look on youtube there are lots of tutorials, im not sure i can post the links here.

ask any questions you like, its no problem.

It depends what LEDs you use mate, they arent all created the same thats for sure and thats why i put off for so long using them. What panels are you using now? The Ninth Planet 600w panels are fantastic. They ship to the states.
 
Around how much do the 600s cost?
