Creating Female Seeds Using Colloidal Silver - With High Brix

a bit of a genetics question

my Widow Querkle was made from a 3rd gen clone of my WW (from fem seed) pollinated by a regular male Querkle.

6 seeds, 3 females, 2 no sprout 1 in waiting. no males,

Now I pollinated her with pollen from the same WW line only 25th? gen clone.

is there any chance of male from the Querkle ever showing up?

Come on folks let's see some eye candy! Here's some for ya

However, there IS an upside besides trying an experiment. My failure to get the correct product, or take the opportunity to DIY make it (I love DIY) may have saved my old dog. She had a tumor growing on her left upper gum that, at it's largest, made her muzzle twice as wide as normal. I gave her the Ultra Silver (BTW it's Bountico brand, I bought 5000ppm) mixed in her food everyday for a couple months. The tumor is gone. I mean no sign of it anymore. I thought she was weeks away from having to be put down. Now she's running and playing like she hasn't in a couple years too.

So I guess it was a win.

Aww that's great!! Win win! ..

If it's fem pollen donor then there is less than a one percent chance of ever seeing one. Unless you stress a male right back out of it. It's not something I would choose as a professional breeder male, but it will work. I've never had hands on with it but I've seen it and done some study. It's likely no more genetically "inferior" than a feminized seed is ... supposedly :rolleyes3

If you wanted to do that the easiest and most sure fire method IMO is to cook the shit out them while they're still seedling or very young. 98f + should do the trick. Wilt them too. Fairly severely. You want to almost kill them and you may kill a few so I suggest a group. There's some possibility of generating some true hermaphrodites so the more the better when it comes to male selection also. Basically it's a genetic reset that goes back to square one.

I've heard a nitrogen rich soil and red light spectrum also causes more males as well. I think I read it in Jorge's book

Yeah, there's a few different ways. Light stress and nutritional are also ways from what I've read. My seeing it experience wasn't all that long ago. I donate the majority of these seeds to patients that can't afford to buy. One patient who I call Timmy Chong lol (you'd have to see him) came to me one day and said, "Hey out of those 17 seeds (there was 25 lol) I got 10 female, 4 male and 3 herms." I may have those figures wrong but I looked at him in shock and said that's 99.99% impossible. What the hell did you do to them? Are you sure you had the right ones? He went right to the blank look. I re-iterated the fact that they we feminized seeds and he shouldn't have anything but. Of course a debate follows lol. He's so old school. It's awesome. Anyways, I find out from his GF about an hour later that he cooked 'em  I remember reading about it before, but that lead to a deeper investigation.

OH and btw, I'm skipping Silver Nitrate experiments only and sticking with standard STS. It says right in the first paragraph of my recipe that I've read a hundred times 🤦 you can do it, but it doesn't work as well. The thiosulfate is a carrier.

Lol yeah there's still a lot of confusion about sex and gender when it comes to cannabis. I still hear a lot that the presence of a "pit" or a "volcano ass" on the bottom of seed means it will be female. This has led to the unfortunate situation of people giving me "feminized" seeds they thought were female because they had a divot on the bottom.

There's a whole seed anatomy science that has worked pretty well for me over the years. My record is 100% but I'm careful and if there is the slightest question it goes into a 'questionable' pile. Seems like most of those are mutants of both sexes. There is something about fem seeds that stands out against their regular female counter parts. It's almost like a boob job or a tucking of something. They almost look fake. :laughtwo:

Hey guys i was wondering if i used some colloidal silver at 500 ppm can i use RO water to lower the ppm to 50 or 60 ppm n spray my red poison i have from sweet seeds will tht give me auto seeds or regular seeds or 50/50 some will be auto others photo period??

I'm not sure about the RO water. Distilled is what the CS is in so probably best to dilute with that. They would be auto-flower feminized seeds with a very very small chance of producing a photo-sensitive. It would be like winning the lotto. Red Poison is a ripper strain. :ganjamon:

What do u mean by a ripper strain n wat about if i did it to my dark devil auto fem wud those seeds be auto as well with low chance of photo

Sorry, it's what the kids used to say in the 80's. We had a few slang terms that didn't carry well. Like 'that's mint' :laughtwo:

Yes. Auto's make auto's. You can even cross strains. Photo's make photo's and you can cross them too. If you cross an auto with a photo or vice versa it can produce some of both.

I'm with gypsy on the water. Use distilled if you can, but I doubt RO would be a bad alternate though. Auto traits are dominant typically, so most anything crossed with an auto will be auto too.

Sweet thanx guys for the info cuz 2morow ill be getting sum cs and im guna start spraying the bottom buds of my blueberry auto along with one of my pineapple skunk but the skunk is a photo period so jus wondering do i hit them with the cs in veg or wait till i start flowering also i know that the buds arent able 2 be used after using the cs so what im wondering is if i jus did the bottom half of a plant an was VERY CAREFUL 2not get any cs on the top wud the top buds still be gud 2 harvest n smoke??

Personally, I start spraying CS a few days before flipping to bloom. Regarding partial treatments, I've never done it that way (i.e. treating only a branch or two), but any untreated portion should still be considered consumable from what I've heard.

On a side note, I find it a bit difficult to read some of your posts blazin. With some of the words' phonetic spelling, it's quite distracting and makes proper comprehension take a bit of an effort. Not being a hater, just saying.

Good luck with your project.

No wonder it's so it doesn't want to breed out even from a fluke photo that came from an auto. Aubergine tastes like total shit and I won't be using her in any experiments short of maybe looking into the cross I did with her. Very low priority though. Not saying all autos are bad. Some are really cool, but I'd get a little more into them if they didn't have the ruderalis blech. The better ones like Sweet Seeds are actually very good, but ruderalis always comes back to haunt me in long cures. That's just me though. Some people actually like that flavor. I guess if they were smoked up within a month or two it wouldn't be so bad. Red Poison had a wonderful flavor up until about month 4.

Well i jus wondering what words u had a problem understanding cuz all i used was cuz which is short for because and wud which is short for the word would lol so what part im wondering is confusing or is it how i worded it and not the words themselves i am just wondering what you meant

You should be ok. We're still not 100% sure it's completely safe, but I've smoked it and haven't formed a fourth eyeball yet. Anything the CS comes in contact with directly will be so nasty you won't be able to smoke it. The branch treatments are fun and good for personal back ups, but I really prefer Gov's method of reversing a whole clone. Safer and easier IMO. I've dubbed it the Gov Bomb :)

Ok so for the gov bomb lol sounds fun but i wud take a clone an veg it for like 3 weeks or so then put her to flower and spray the whole plant down or jus the bud areas???
