Yeah if I had done mine selectively the rest of my plant would probably be done before pollen sacks started being ready. FOr some reason it took mine a long time to make pollen sacks. I wouldn't be surprised if it just went legitimately hermie from stress rather than the silver causing it since I actually have some buds formed on there too lol

Totally agree. I've consumed autos a few times. Never grown them personally, but each time I've consumed them, it's only been "meh". There are instances an auto might be best for a given scenario, but putting a photo right into bloom effectively does the same thing (a la Ziggy's method).

lol...thanks. I do it this way when making seeds simply to eliminate a few variables and ensure the success of the seed-making attempt. After all, when I choose to make some seeds, I want to know exactly what each plant is and what it's for. Reversed pollen plants are for pollen only, and they are usually only 8"-10" tall so no real loss once pollen is extracted and they get tossed. One little reversed "stick-plant" like this makes enough pollen to fertilize an entire acre-sized grow if so desired.

Mine are usually small enough that I do the entire plant whether I want to or not...lol. But focusing on just the bud sites is sufficient.

My last reversal was flipped and treated with CS 2 weeks before the rest went into flower. That seems to be a good separation time-wise. Especially since the recipient clones require about 3 weeks in bloom to reach ovulation and properly able to receive the pollen. Again though, this is with clones and not small plants from seed. Plants sprouted from seed require a couple more weeks usually to be able to reach reproductive state where clones have some of those hormones already going.

question if I'm spraying my auto down with cs I got here can I keep her in with my other autos that I havnt sprayed with cs or will it mess up those that I'm trying to grow for bud??



also this is the cs I have now when I tested the ppm it was 240 nt 500 like lable said and this is my moms slightly older cs so does cs get weaker with age here is what I used with distilled water and lowerd the ppm to 69 70 can I use that to make seeds and how long will that 70 ppm mixture last also when is the best time to start treatments of cs for both photos and autos??

If you sprayed the whole plant then let it dry before you put it with the others. Otherwise it's fine.

CS does have a sort of shelf life but it depends on how it was stored. That one is pretty strong and in a dark bottle. That will help. I'm thinking if the diluted solution reads 50 ppm or more it will work, but it's only speculation.

For autos begin treatment at first sign of pistils. Photo's a week or so before flip up to a few weeks after.

Awesome thanx man u answerd all my questions thank you n yea my diluted form ppm reads 69 n 70 so all good i would assume and im wondering will the cs treated plant be able 2 polinate my other fem autos like it wont turn my other buds all seeded will it or shud i have my cs treated plant away from my others n treat it as if it was a male??

Ok so it will contaminate my others if left in by them long enuf right?? And also if i take the pollen from the cs treated plant can i use that to polinate another fem plant and would those seeds hav both characteristics then or can i not use cs treated plants pollen?? I jus wana make sure its ok n not guna hurt my other plants

I took down the Kosher Kush this morning. This photo was from 4 days ago but I gave it a little longer.

The Amherst Sour Diesel project doesn't look so good though. There are several seed pods but the one I checked this morning was empty. There is not nearly as many pods so I don't want to chance wasting any... couple more days and I'll know for sure. The trichomes look great so even if there are no "good" seeds I'll still have a nice plant to harvest.

the original WW seed I got was the smallest darkest seed I ever saw, and so were the feminized ones I made from a clone of her a few years back.
This one has no resemblance unless it still needs some grow time, but it looks like it's ready to fall off.

this plant is loaded with seeds.

Yep. This is why I usually put a couple of those cardboard produce boxes lined with cut paper grocery bag under my seed crop plants when I harvest... or just before. There's always a few early-finishers that try to drop out of sight.

My catch boxes sides are kind of low but a towel or carpet scrap seems to keep them from bouncing out. :high-five:
