Creating Female Seeds Using Colloidal Silver - With High Brix

I hope the tweekers aren't seeing any of this. Fillings won't even be safe. :bitingnails:
I'm just gonna fill grocery bags full of copper scrap and toss them in the air like chaff for heat-seeking missiles.

I bought mine at the top of the bay. Yes it was $30 for two 10 gauge six inch wires but first of all, that will last you forever and second, that's the cost of three maybe four seeds. Think off all the many seeds you will make and spend the lousy thirty dollars.

Yeah I have no idea how long they will last, so I'm sure that's probably worth it, but I'm not really pinching pennies, I just don't even have $30 at all. *holds out collection plate* :P

I just wanted all you pollen chuckers to my Chuckfest 2017 Pollen Nation! thread!:yahoo::ganjamon:

... ok... actually its much more boring than that sounds, lol :nomo:

Its just my journal that is on day 3 of CS sprayings... haha :sorry:

I'm using the Silver Mountain Minerals 240ppm which I just received yesterday in the mail, and diluting it by 4x with my r/o and deionized water which comes out 0ppm 7ph. :geek::scratchinghead:

I chose GDP to be my next female to reverse

Here is the link If ya wanna be a mutha chucka with me! haha ;)

Icemud's How To Make Feminized Seeds Using Colloidal Silver

Hey guys, I thought I'd throw something out for discussion, it might help someone.... Who knows.

I just reversed a Kosher Kush and an Amherst Sour Diesel. The KK had pollen up in ying yang so I was not worried at all but the ASD did not have "visible" pollen when the sacks opened, but I continued to hold the plant over the female recipient and tap the branches once they started opening, for a week. I also used an electric toothbrush and shook the heck out of the sacks. Both plants have produced seeds although there are many more KK than ASD. As a side note, both plants of each strain were kept in different buildings and I was very careful to do one before showering in the morning and one after, so I know that the ASD produced "some" pollen even though it wasn't visible to the naked eye. (But to be fare, I do have old eyes.)

So long story short.... even if you don't see pollen, shake the hell out of those pollen sacks, you may be surprised. After 3 weeks of spraying I wasn't about to just throw it away without trying.

Thats good advice and observations! Good to know that even if its not visible it still may be there :) good share!

Well I got my gram of silver in the mail today, boy is it tiny. I had to do some cutting and squeezing to make sizeable "electrodes". Got it all setup, tested to make sure voltage is running through the ends with a volt meter. Distilled water measures in at 3 ppm. I figure I should just let it sit over night and see what happens. I've got it set in a little cabinet that's pretty dark.

Depending on how this goes, I will probably just purchase some of the rods down the line, but I don't see why this shouldn't work. Biggest challenge was getting the clips to sit just above the water and not inside it.

Never hurts to try, that's for sure. I had forgotten about some pollen that was in my fridge and recently found it. Just happen I had some pretty new flowers and said it can't hurt and brushed it all on one set of bud sites. Too soon to know, but even if I get a couple seeds it would be worth it.

My trichomes say it's time to harvest but the seeds say not yet.
This was a seed project to begin and it still is so any usable bud will be a bonus and I'll probably get the chance to try some that has missed the prime harvest window.

She was flipped 7 weeks ago when I started spraying her with C.S. Kosher Kush is supposed to take 9-10 weeks (the mom took 11.) This morning I checked a couple seeds... they are hard but still a light color and no stripes yet so I'm thinking it's gonna be another week anyway.

She was flushed this morning, now I'll start watering everyday to see if I can't bulk her up just in case the bud is usable.:blunt:

Hey Beav. My last seed project did the same thing. the flowers were ready a bit before the seeds, but like you, since it was essentially a seed project, I let it go. Glad I did as the seeds matured nicely and the flowers were still really nice.

That's good to know Gov, thanks.
I have never let one go over 50% Amber but I'm thinking I may get a chance to see what they're like with this one.:blunt:

I'd give it some more time... those seed pods will start to pop open and show the seeds inside. I would wait until you see about 50% tiger striped or more.

Will do, I hadn't thought about letting them go till they developed stripes until I started watching this thread. Gonna give it a go this time though:high-five:

nothing saying you cant harvest a few buds to sample the herb, then when most of the seeds are ripe, harvest them.... :)

She looks gnarly sticky CB :high-five: I'm with the rest of the PC clan and say let her rot.
Worst thing that'll happen is you'll end up with cherry cbn oil.

Some other things I find helpful.. If there's any way to lower your temps a little and go full red spectrum for the last few weeks it can help darken them up. The calyx seeds (if any) are usually the first to mature. Sometimes they are just easier to watch. Once they are dark the rest won't be far behind. You can give her a little shake every now and then to see if anything is dropping too. Droppers are a good indicator that she's in a good window for maximum harvest. :)

I had a nice harvest from the mother so it's not like I'm hurting for weed, but I've never been one to turn down a lil extra:cheesygrinsmiley:

I can certainly turn down the temp if that'll help. I have a space heater going to keep them warm as it is still dropping down to mid 40's at night here but I think would stay about 55F in there if I just shut it off. Would that be too chilly for them?

As far as full red spectrum... I don't understand lighting enough to know about that. I'm running a Chinese 192X5 and was told for flowering to run it with both the growth and bloom switches on.... Is that right?

Edited to add..... PC clan... LMAO...

Perfect! I have a few of the same lights if it's Mars lol. Cutting off the veg switch is exactly what I'm talking about. My normal temp range is around 45-80F with both on. 44-74F with only the bloom spectrum, but I don't run supplementary heat.
