Creating Female Seeds Using Colloidal Silver - With High Brix

The Panamas are soon done:

I jarred up my Laniakea today too. lol

Also, I got a few more pics of the seed plants...

I can see some distinct seeds forming all over them both.

edit: Sorry for the sideways pics. I have to upload from my phone now and it's more difficult to change the perspective from that interface.

Nice GovChz.

I have been thinking about what you said about your plants never looking stressed like mine. My brain chewed on that for a while and I have (unfortunately for me) discovered something.

First, the plants aren't stressed. They are actually quite happy except for the silver and brown face paint.

And that, the color, led me to my discovery. I bought CS like everyone says, but no one ever talks about the different kinds available. I use Ultra Silver.

Here is info ripped from their website...

Ultra Silver Colloidal Silver is a new type of colloidal silver made with a completely new process. While the process is patentable, the decision has been made to keep the process proprietary rather than file a patent and reveal the details of the process. The equipment to make Ultra Silver Colloidal Silver is very expensive and complex. The resulting product is a revolutionary new colloid.

Other colloidal silver products actually consist of mostly ionic silver and have a low percentage of silver particles which range in size from 10-500 nanometers and more. Ultra Silver Colloidal Silver is 100% colloidal silver and not ionic in any way. It contains extremely small particles which on average are 35.2 nanometers. This small particle size, combined with a high concentration of particles results in a vastly larger surface area of silver for a given concentration. To see this relationship expressed graphically, go here. For a more complete explanation of the importance of particle size and value of particles vs. ions, see our Science page.

Ionic based silver solutions are sometimes referred to as Colloidal Silver, but they are not true colloidal silver. Ionic based silver is actually missing an electron in the outer shell. (Heirloom - Is it the incomplete electron shell that is needed for the silver to bond with what ever is does, either copper or the ethylene receptor???)

Commercially available colloidal silver products typically have a silver concentration in the range of 3-50 parts per million (PPM). In many instances, the higher concentration products consist almost entirely of ionic silver. Many contain particles so large they must add gelatin to the solution to keep the particles from falling to the bottom. The products that add gelatin are typically called 'silver protein' or 'mild silver protein'.

As measured by a Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (FAAS), Ultra Silver Colloidal Silver has approximately 500 – 10,000 PPM of silver. PPM is also properly expressed as mg/liter.

The process which produces Ultra Silver Colloidal Silver produces a high concentration of ultra small particles. This high concentration results in a brown color which is the indicative color of our product (Heirloom - Hence my brown staining and looking stressed). It is your guarantee that you have the most potent colloidal silver available.

Ultra Silver Colloidal Silver is tasteless. It can be taken directly from the bottle. Ultra Silver Colloidal Silver can be rightfully called a concentrate, relative to other colloidal silver products. Its power is unequaled by a wide margin. To see a comparison of power of various products, go here.

In summary, Ultra Silver Colloidal Silver is on the cutting edge of the science of colloidal silver and has power far beyond that of any other colloidal silver product. Furthermore, considering that it is a concentrate (recommended dose is 1 tsp/day), it is by far the most economical as well. A single 8 oz. bottle is worth several bottles of weaker products.

Now, I can say that it is a potent product. Taken for health or sprayed on an injury it does work. But the electron shell thing scares me. Even though I have one plant showing reversal, I feel it has taken WAY too long compared to you guys, and the staining sucks. I bought it because of the ultra small particle size figuring more would make it through the plant tissues. Did I shoot myself in the foot?

Thoughts?

yes...thats the same stuff I used that DIDNT work..did you check the ppm using a meter? mine shows little to no ppm.
The CS Im now using is the stuff I used my first time making seeds, and the same that Gov uses/used in this journal.
B.I.D.(RIP) used to make his own...Ive done that to consume, but have not used on my plants.

EDIT: I used the 10000ppm UltraSilver to start and diluted it

heirloom, I think that's the same stuff I used the last time I tried this 2 years ago that didn't work for me either on an HSO Blue Dream. I'd seen others have success with the brand I have now, but didn't place enough faith in the branding and I just got what looked good. I wasted a month of plant time and 2 nice little plants. Live and learn. I got this brand and things progressed better than I even expected.

I'm 3 weeks away from harvesting a nice batch of feminized seeds.

This is the Ultra product I use. Not sure if its the same one you use Heirloom. Label reads Ultra Colloidal Silver and not Ultra Silver Colloidal Silver. My bottle is 2 years old now and is stored in my crawl space under the house which is dark and cool year round. It is the 240 ppm solution. I normally start off with how much RO water I think i'm going to need and then mix in the CS until my meter reads 125 microsiemens (I believe that is ~60 ppm). I'm wondering if I get quick results because of how small my clones are when I start spraying. Less to convert? I don't know. This stuff works well though in the 2 times I've used it.

OK. Since I have 3 ruined clones, and target plants still moving towards peak ovulation, we are going to go into uncharted territory.

F%@k it.

I'm treating the CS girls with STS today. Guess we'll see what that does. Can't learn if you don't do.

Going to try to make lemonade here. Wish me luck.

EDIT: Please pardon my language outburst. I hate failure. I don't do it well.

However, there IS an upside besides trying an experiment. My failure to get the correct product, or take the opportunity to DIY make it (I love DIY) may have saved my old dog. She had a tumor growing on her left upper gum that, at it's largest, made her muzzle twice as wide as normal. I gave her the Ultra Silver (BTW it's Bountico brand, I bought 5000ppm) mixed in her food everyday for a couple months. The tumor is gone. I mean no sign of it anymore. I thought she was weeks away from having to be put down. Now she's running and playing like she hasn't in a couple years too.

So I guess it was a win.

Same one as I got I think.

govt..no..yours is not the same as heirlooms.
yours is the same as my new one now(my last years' 1-1/2 seed creating trial)
The one i used for the start of THIS journal, which didnt work to produce male sacks on the females is posted on page 1 :)
that company is different than yours Govt.

Here are the two seeded phenotypes of Laniakea. They should have 2 weeks left if their direct mothers are/were any indication. That will have given the seeds about 4 full weeks to develop.

:peace:

Well Zig, all three phenotypes are different. The #2 pheno starts to put on this candy/skittles kind of smell that just gets stronger as it finishes. The #3 is similar, but not quite as "sweet" on the nose and more residual citrus/pine.

The mothers of these will have 1 full week in the jars this weekend so I should start to get a good idea on the overall finished product quite soon.

wow!..nice!..

A very talented grower, cultivator and chef made those genetics.
