Re: Crawdaddy's First Grow in 10+ Years Greenhouse/Soil -2013

Thanks Rune, you feeling better bro?

Little bit, still a ways to go, but at least have internet today, so I'm spending a little time between rests catching up on journals :)

Re: Crawdaddy's First Grow in 10+ Years Greenhouse/Soil -2013

Do not think it same mantis, g/f found this one in front yard caught it and put in greenhouse.

You really should get the FF Big Bloom at a minimum, it is the least 'hot' of their nutes too from what I read.

I have only been using the actual feeding schedule last 2-3 weeks, before that I was just 'winging' it with Grow Big and Tiger Bloom(along with SuperThrive, I love that stuff). But as I said before they are the experts so I figured give it a go, just worried may be feeding too much, but if flush properly should be ok. So far seen no signs of burning/soil pH problems.

If you are in FFOF soil though be careful, could fry your ladies pretty easy. Plus your plants are not as big as mine, no offense of course, so would not need as much nutes.

It sounds like I will have to visit my local hydro shop tomorrow. I do have DM Red in my FFOF so I may have to tweak things a bit. Solid advise from you as always. No offense taken at all my friend, you bring up a valid point. Container to plant size ratio would also be a factor. Reps for taking the time to educate me!

I wish you the same, got lots of work to do with plants this weekend, flush/clean up weekend. Things are looking great so far, wish my buds where getting bigger faster, but don't we all, I think they will turn out fine, what I have smoked from what I am told these clones came from was good stuff. But I think my indoor plants have better genetics, we shall see.

Thanks for the reps, just take any advice anyone gives you on here with a grain of salt, do not take it as gospel. Only you can decide what is best for your ladies, and as Lester said, your doing good do not break what not broken.

Take input from many sources and then decide what is best for you :):high-five:

Thanks BAR, I just hope they not too bushy.

Happy stornerday to you also bro, it been a good one so far.

My mother came and saw my house yesterday, and surprisingly did not object to plants. Was actually slightly curious. So that was cool.

Got a new puppy today too, have not had dog in 10 + years and I love animals so that is good.

Gave the ladies a little TLC today, their gallon of water each and hopefully last treatment of sm-90 for spider mites. Before the treatment still some little black dots under leaves but not moving, so I think dead already, but better safe then sorry.

Due to family in town no Saturday picture update, but probably tomorrow. I am starting to see a little frost on buds and on little bud leaves so that good sign:)

Re: Crawdaddy's First Grow in 10+ Years Greenhouse/Soil -2013

So just gave the plants some TLC, each got 2 gallons of solution of 2 tsp FF Sledgehammer flush per gallon.

I also misted/rinsed them off with spray from hose. Has to wash that SM-90 off, I see spider mites on some leaves with my 30X magnifier, but they are not moving. So I think no more of that stuff, going to buy some lady bugs this week for the rest of the season.

Noticing some burnt tips, tips turned down, so going to go 1/2 strength on my ferts for a bit. Nothing bad yet.

Anyhow enough talk on with the pics...

Whole Garden, really is hard to get it all in one shot, cant see it all here...

And data, really have to take this with grain of salt, because this time I measured normally G/F does, also width is far less consistent, hard to measure across same span every time.

I am curious to see how the sledgehammer turns out. I have heard some have had problems with it. Burnt/spotted leaves after use. Do you PH it up or down before application?
