Colombian Gold Grow: Come Learn With Me How To Produce Your Own Seeds!

This plant like the other four autos were not heavily pollinated. And the pollinating I did was as controlled as I know how to do.

All the seeds will be fem autos.

Hiya Beez0404,

Very informative journal. I like how strong your logic is. Takes one to know one, lol. I am retired also. Gardening is my thing, now, since I have plenty of time, and no money. Like yourself, a lot of my time is watching football. That's why it took me an extra day to get here. Love those Pats! (I'm from Maine) Sorry about your Mahomes not in Superbowl LIII, but Tom still has the will to win. Still a great game. I think Mahomes will be the next Tom Brady. Oh, and I take the worst pics on 420 magazine, when I can get the technology to work, lol.

You do grow a nice plant! You must have a lot of experience. I tried using STS to produce seeds last year, but couldn't get it to work. You have journaled the process clear enough (several times) so that even I can follow those directions. Must get me some colloidal silver. I especially like the telltale signs given by different stages you have documented, so whoever reads your journal can learn as well. You have reached your objective very well, being sharing and teaching as well as learning yourself.

Two things - First, that pile of NL X DDa bud is the prettiest pile of bud I have ever seen, bar none! Spectacular.
Two, that pile of CG seeds was impressive. Cheers to you and your seed production. I must get some colloidal
silver.

Hey Bode.……..Thank you for the nice sentiment. Don't get sucked in to the name brand, expensive spray bottles of the colloidal silver. The stuff I use is MUCH cheaper and a lot more potent. And it works. You just have to be diligent and keep applying it even when you reach a point where you don't think it's actually working. The majority of plants/strains will eventually reverse if you keep on it. But there are some that just won't do it. If you have any question I can help with don't hesitate to ask.

My Quarter Pounder is at day 86 since she sprouted. Just last night I harvested a test bud and will have my sativa taste tester sample it when it gets dry in a few days. I hope it smokes as good as it looks. This bud is for future harvests of the QPA as this gal will keep going until the seeds she is carrying are fully mature which will most likely be in another 10 days to 2 weeks. This bud was not pollinated so no seed wasted in the harvesting of this taster!

Time for a little fun! Put on your thinking caps and turn your imaginations loose. I have some crosses that need names. The first one I named myself so yeah it's not much of an imagination stretcher....LOL I just now harvested the first of a very limited edition Colombian Devil seeds.

If there are half a dozen seeds from the Colombian Gold pollen that would be a lot I think. This is of course the Dark Devil X Colombian Gold cross. I also pollinated the Dark Devil with just a small bit of the Quarter Pounder female auto pollen. So this is the first cross that is begging for a name.

Quarter Pounder auto X Dark Devil auto = ???

Nice job, PW. That's the one I thought of, too. Nice name!

It was like a stoners convention here today. As some of you may know I've been blessed to have Sweet Sue visit us here for three weeks. Her positive outlook on life is contagious if you're not careful. Today was a treat for me as I was able to talk both Gentleman Jim and MrGreene to come by for a BBQ dinner. We had brisket, pulled pork, Brunswick stew, Lisa's famous twice baked potato salad as well as her homemade baked beans. I whipped up a batch of my homemade Red Lobster biscuits. I think a good time was had by all. Good food, good friends, and some good flowers.
That was one of the best meals I've had in quite a while. I really enjoyed the company too. I'll swing by on my way back south. Have to finish up with the McKenzie brothers up here in the great white North first.
