Colombian Gold Grow: Come Learn With Me How To Produce Your Own Seeds!

When you germinated three seeds per hempy cup for your 2L SOG, how did you transplant them all into their own containers?

First I filled the 2 liter bottles with ProMix BX and saturated it with 1/4 strength nutrients at a PH of 6.5

Then I took the first hempy solo cup with three 3 day old seedlings. I put a piece of tape over the reservoir hole and slowly add water till the perlite starts to raise up. Then gently grab the first seedling by the stem and as I VERY gently start lifting it up I squeeze the cup sort of moving the perlite around. Squish, let it go, squish let it go, and you'll feel the seedling come free and lift right out. Then I just stick them into a hole already made in one of the 2 liter bottle. And that's it.

Lisa and I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy and Safe Holidays! Cherish your time with family and friends.

After the dust settled this evening and I got mama and the pups all put to bed I took out the Quarter Pounder auto plant for it's now daily once over. I try to do this early in the AM but wasn't gonna happen today. Anyway, I coaxed a tiny bit (again) of pollen from her. I'm getting such a small amount I'm not even able to use the paintbrush to apply the pollen. I am turning the card upside down and lightly brushing it across the pistils on a bud site. We still have no clue if the pollen is even viable but I want to proceed as though it is and all produced in the future will be too. So if the pollen is good I should have made a few seeds. I could see (with magnification) the pollen sticking to the end of the pistils. I snapped a new picture of the area I had been treating with the colloidal silver.

Something I remembered about this plant from last time I grew it is that the pistils, when brand new, are different colors. Some are white while others are a darker color. I tried to capture that in this photo.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Although it was a miniscule amount of pollen from the Quarter Pounder plant, at least it was extremely fine which is a good thing. I took the tiny bit she gave up tonight and applied a little to a bud on the StarDawg plant and a little on the Tangerine Dream plant. If you've been following the thread these are all auto flower plants. So seeds made from these crosses will be femimized autos. All I found today was one pollen sack that was opened and it didn't give up a lot of pollen. I'm confident it will get better.

My @SeedsMan house strain Blueberry plant is at the end of it's first week of rinsing/flushing. Unless it's just falling over dying I'm going to let it go till Jan. 10th and then harvest it. I do like me some amber crystals. The plant has finished with it's beefing up at the end, has pretty much quit drinking and is drawing energy from the fan leaves and starting in on the sugar leaves. Many of the leaves have turned yellow. Here is the bud I harvested today. It looks as though it will be some very nice stuff.

And I continue each day to harvest more Colombian Gold seeds. I'm about at the end thank goodness as it was actually becoming a chore. A chore I would GLADLY take on with the auto flower plants!!

Yes, it sure is a bunch of seeds. In about a week or so I'll grab some and pop them into a hempy
solo cup to see if they'll germinate easily.
