Colombian Gold Grow: Come Learn With Me How To Produce Your Own Seeds!

Amazing stuff Beez! Sorry it took so long to catch up but I’m glad I did. Those pics are great you big liar!!:D

Nobody would dare mess with me when they see these two scary beasts! I took this yesterday while taking them for their walk.
I loved this update the best though :battingeyelashes:

Any of you remember these two girls?

This is one of them today as it goes into the flowering tent with it's big sister. I've elected to do no topping or training to see what the plant will do on it's own.

Since the NL X DDA was harvested and trimmed up this morning I moved one of them into the flowering tent. When the Blueberry comes down the second one will take it's place.

It's quite skinny......main stalk and all the branches. But the buds don't get real big although it does stack up a little.

Yes, a lot of golf ball size nugs would be most welcome.

I just had the Quarter Pounder auto out for an examination. Today was the first time I've seen any pollen from this plant. I lightly tapped on one of the small branches and saw a tiny bit of pollen fall. So I put my collection card (my mirror wasn't at hand) and found the pollen sack that was open. I tapped it and it fell off with a tiny bit of pollen falling out. I picked it up with tweezers and held it over the bud pictured below and tapped it and rubbed it lightly against the pistils. Since the plant has two different colored pistils I'll be looking for them to shrivel up to know if they were pollinated or not. I took the photo to use for reference to compare it to the bud in a few days.

It might be a tiny bit of pollen today but with luck the other sacks will mature and make some nice pollen.

Sweet fingers crossed for some viable pollen and a successful seed making !

Well... I made it through all 74 pages over the last couple days ..
I love your tek for tending to clones @beez0404 .. I will certainly adopt your practices when I take my own cuttings. Also great advice about trimming away leaves when collecting pollen, I had never thought of that.. all in all I’ve learned quite a bit here, I have some questions though.
When you germinated three seeds per hempy cup for your 2L SOG, how did you transplant them all into their own containers? My second question is directed at anyone who can answer it; what, if any, are the 420magazine policies regarding seed trading? I mean, Beez just did a seed “raffle” of sorts and there aren’t any administrators here to shut down the thread.. is open seed trading something we could do here? It would certainly be nice to buy and grow out a strain to harvest for seed, then turn around and trade off half of your seed to the nice people of the 420 forums for 10 other strains you’ve been looking at... I dunno, food for thought

Edit: I can’t believe I forgot this part - EXCELLENT work Beez, your plants are serious works of art.. if my ladies turn out half as nice as yours I will be a very happy guy

Officially buying, selling or trading seeds is frowned on in the open forum. Whatever you do should be done in private.
That’s sort of unfortunate, but I do understand. It would just be so nice to make a thread like “I have strain X, anyone looking for this?” .. could save an astronomical amount of money

It would indeed save money. But when the 420 site runs out of sponsors the site goes away and that hurts all of us. Seed banks aren't going to sponsor a site that allowed open trading or selling of seeds.
