Colesdad Tries Again - LED - GGG Baby Freedom - Ideal420 Soil - 12/12 From Seed

Question. Smell is crazy. The wife is more concerned with other people smelling it. So we talked about it. Everything is hooked up to one time, so either everything is on or off at the same time, including exhaust fan.
Right now lights on at 9am and off at 9pm. It now needs to be lights on at 9pm and lights off at 9am,so the fan only runs (smell moving around) at night..
I'm pretty sure I would need to do 24 hours of darkness to make the transition, right? So basically, lights off at 9pm and not come on until the next day at 9pm.
Thoughts?

I was meaning the exhaust fan. The smell it is blowing into the bedroom. Well, it used to be the bedroom, now I can nearly smell from the front door of the house! Of course, that means that AB2 is doing much better than her sister, and when Nebula starts it's going to get rank in here.
I guess at some point the wife will break, and then I can buy a filter :)

yea a carbon filter for the fan is a must have
Yes, for sure. Working on funds right now though.
Can't upload photos right now. After 24 hrs of darkness, Eva popped up, very eager little thing! As soon as the site starts working I'll share a pic of AB2's top cola, very fat. Nebula is starting to push hair, I'm confident that this week I'll be able to officially say, flowering has begun.

CAN sell them by the pound of carbon. i.e. 33 CAN is about 40 lbs, you will need a 50 or 75 to clear a room running 24 hours with 600cfm or larger fan. It's loud,. FYI.

cheers

Help. I'm checking my AB2 and I see these at nearly every node. Is this normal? Did she hermie?

Those burnt hairs tell you there has been pollination. They should all be white.

Sorry your right.

Cheers

Mine did, here are hair shots darker ones will be seeds.

Nope! She looks great! Swollen with lust and all female! Pull one off and open it up. The calyx are just swelling/ripening up.

Edit.. I pulled every one of those off my 1st plant. Lol

They may have been there for a long time, but I just noticed them. Some were open, but even the closed ones had small hair when I opened them up.

But, by that thinking, wouldn't the hair stay white forever? I'm not being an ass, in no way do I want to come across that way, I love the 420magazine community.

Colored hairs show matured flower. They will color and pull back into flower. White are immature but will color. By week 6 or 7 of 12/12, no more white hairs should sprout. That is when I feed only tap till harvest. Burnt hairs do not pull back into flower because of seeds. Look for long burnt hairs like on my pix. Short colored hairs are good. With as many white hairs as I see on your flower the burnt are to dark to be true color so soon.

Cheers

Miller, thank you for the pics and some insight, greatly appreciated.
This autoberry is 14 days past the max life per Herbies. I know every phenotype is different. She has been pushing new white hair AND thickening up these last 3 days. Her big leaves are finally dieing off. I'm thinking I'll chop her very soon anyway. I really, really hope she didn't pollinate my Nebula!
Here are some more pics of some still on, some I removed and some that I pulled open.

IF, she /he did spread pollen, should I clean the tent like I normally would between grows, ie soap and water. Should I heavily rinse Nebula? I have a 2 day old seedling, should I do anything special to her?
Spitz, Miller, thoughts?

I'm still going with "you're all good". It is statistically impossible to pollinate every bare calyx on your plant and none of your flowers. I just don't see it. Did you find any seeds in AB1? If you've got enough pollen to hit every node, you definitely got Nebula. The seedling will be fine. Cleaning your tent may not be a bad idea just because.

its a tough call. If she is throwing pollen, you probably need to get her out. If she's not, and you take her out, it will be a big loss.

Whats done is done, it's hard to clean. I've heard of seed pockets in future grows aftet strict clean. Spitz is right about total pollination. I have clean flowers too. Seeds are good sometimes. I won't use sour seeds they were the he/she. But it's cross with SLH and Cinex will grow some killer smoke. I'd wipe, vacuum and keep flowering in the tent.

Cheers

Well, she is down. I decided this morning before the lights went off. Maybe a hermie, maybe not. I did not see these sacks on AB1 when I chopped her down, so maybe there was something weird about AB2 and according to paper, she was way past her prime. After pulling all the leaves (minus sugar ones) all the bud sites had done the best they could, mostly non-white hair and 100% milky trics. I'm happy, this is the second plant I have harvested after more than 1 year of trying .
Plus, I chopped her for the sake of Nebula. AB2 was nearly 9 inches taller, so I had to keep my led too far from Nebula's canopy. And she needed to have her wings spread even more. I seriously need to think scrog next time I topped more than once. She is nearly 2ftx2ft in diameter. She is so large, that I do not think I'm going to germ another seed because there isn't enough room with Nebula and Eva. I'll do a final trimming and some photos of AB2 later, she is a wonderful smelling plant, but we have guest coming today and as sweet as she smells, there is no denying that its a weed aroma lol.
I now have a little anxiety about Nebula being pollinated, but a little birdy told me cannabis is good to calm your nerves :)

Chopped and trimmed! Had those little ball things at nearly every node. No worries though, I'm happy with what I have!
