hey bro great job that Nebula perfect are you getting any nice smells for your autos yet
You know that is my first time growing, but I had a fantastic time in high school, so I'm recognize a "weed" smell. But it is amazing how the autos smell. Outside of the tent, smelling the buds very closely, there is definitely a difference. Kinda earthy, kinda sweet with only a touch of the skunky "weed" smell. It's giving me a different perspective of cannabis. In my heart of hearts, I see this as a "flower" now. I know that sounds weird lol.

Just a thought... You are exactly 2 months away from 1 year on this journal. I think posting a smoke report on 5/1/16 would only be fitting. Keep the pictures and updates coming!
Damn, almost year! Maybe a smoke report, but definitely an oil report.

Thank you. I'm starting to pay closer attention to the oil threads now that I'm close to the end.

A quick update, but only a few pics. AB1 is starting her flush cycle now. Yesterday I ran 3 gallon through her. I would guess 50/50 clear to milky trics. AB2 was given plain water yesterday. She continues to grow taller and produce white hairs, no frost yet. I really need to start flowering Nebula, she is beautiful and very strong. She was feed full nutes yesterday.

In the front, AB2 and AB1. Nebula in the left rear.

I'll get Nebula out in a few days for her own photo shoot, she deserves it!

If you need to, you can finish those ABs under 12/12. I'd center the led over Neb and AB2, move the CFL around AB1, switch the timer and let her fly!

Either that or drop 1 more seed to get 2 weeks of veg light before harvesting the ABs, and flipping then. Just hearing your tone, I have a hunch you're going to take the ABs early (part from the desire to harvest the ABs and part to start Nebula on the next chapter of her journey). That's ok my friend! I think if you swap to 12/12 now, you'll kind of split the difference and get more out of your ABs (simply because you won't have to harvest at checkpoints and people will have a chance to talk you off the ledge. Lol). You're doing great CD!! Finish strong!

Can't figure why it took as long as it did for me get here. Also, I have a son named Cole. Ha,

Cheers,

Amazing flowers too.

Picture day!
This is a good picture showing the difference in the sisters. AB2 is more than twice that of AB1.
CAM01326.jpg

AB1 is on the right. She has much darker hair on the buds (AB2 is still pumping out hair, crazily) and the leaves are starting to lose their color.
CAM013291.jpg

And, Princess Nebula.
CAM013151.jpg
CAM01320.jpg

Moving her from the rear corner to center stage, you can see how wide and even she is.
CAM013251.jpg

Nebula has hair everywhere
CAM01321.jpg

Topping and pulling her stems down has really produced tons of smaller bud sites!
CAM013221.jpg

AB1, chopped!
Using my camera, it seemed I was at 95%cloudy, 5% clear, which is okay with me because I certainly need a day time oil. Today was a good day, we have nothing going on and I wouldn't have any free time during the day until Friday, and, I was anxious to hurry :)

Now, some questions..
This is the trim, is there any medical value (I'm making oil) in it, and if so, how do I take advantage of it?
CAM01343-1.jpg

I'm going to trim and pull down some more on Nebula, and then flip to 12/12. This will prolong AB2, maybe a couple of weeks, but I really need to so I can keep control of Nebula's size. I'm going to drop a photo seed and run it straight 12/12. I haven't decided which one.
What is the best way to clean the fabric pot? I was thinking warm water with a little peroxide.
Thoughts, comments?

congratulations on your first harvest ever! how long did you let her grow from first pistil sighting? the pistils are saying she's in the harvest window so don't worry, I'm just being curious. I think water is enough to clean the fabric pot but you can add a little peroxide if you'd like :thumb:

Congrats CD! I don't save fan leafs. I pull all those by hand. I trim all my sugar leafs into a paper bag. I dry them thoroughly, place them in a ziplock, and throw them in the freezer until ready for oil. I dry inside a cardboard box, move to jars, and burp daily until they feel right. That being said, my RH is around 30% and drying is the most dangerous part I have to deal with (not too fast and not too slow). I lost an entire WWidow harvest over Christmas to mold (and my favorite jars!). I'm really happy for you! I'd get that seed started ASAP. With photos, your clock doesn't start until you flip. You might not realize it, but, these plants taught a pretty good lesson. AB1 and Nebula were both slightly stunted as seedling. The photos don't start the clock until the flip. Autos, on the other hand, aren't very forgiving if they skip a beat as youngsters.

great on you sir! Hope your oil helps with your conditions!! Congrats again and enjoy!!!

Flip day, and picture day!
First, I flipped lights this evening, they will have 11 hours of daylight. AB2 is an awesome specimen. Herbies days 60-65 days, I'm thinking she may go another 2 weeks a total of 80 days. Says the height was 12-24 inches, she is about 32 inches. She has finished growing taller and is using her energy to build buds. I trimmed about a dozen leaves, nothing drastic, just the big ones blocking light. He she is and a pic of the main cola.
CAM01351.jpg
CAM01352.jpg

Nebula is fabulous, beautiful green and strong growth. She got a major hair cut. I trimmed everything that wasn't a bud site, so she has above 12 small sites that are exposed to the light and she has 4 main cola and two that are shoots from the original stalk. I'm excited to see what happens.

No one wanted water today, the are on alternating days with food schedule, which makes my life easier. Next time it will be AB2 feed and Nebula water, and so on.

If you let AB2 fully ripen, she's POM material in my book. I love the ones that go untouched. Nebula looks terrific! She's been too twisted and shaved to get my vote though. . Looking good sir!! I'm gonna guess a bit more than 2 weeks though. Damn that AB looks nice!

Spitz, I had a friend give me some beans and wanted your opinion. I want a Sativa and want highercbd levels. I'm going straight 12/12 with them (obviously). Would you do Eva Highlevel or Raspberry Cough? What was your expirence with each?

Raspberry Cough it a pretty forgiving and almost more classic sativa. High Level has more of a chemical diesel feel to it (although still pretty forgiving). I don't know that either will be what you are looking for. I'd break down and get you a high CBD strain. You can see how that oil works for you. I just dropped a BF CBD critical cure 1:1 at 7% each. I sure wish you had 1 of those. I'll PM you some other thoughts. Good luck!!

Everyone is great. They have had 2 full nights now. Nebula is standing tall and doing her thing
CAM013901.jpg

AB2 is putting on weight, no more height. Hairs are bright white and she is just starting to frost up. A sideways pic of her (sorry)

And she is definitely pulling some energy out of her leaves now

Eva was planted today, she was showing a little tap root!
