Colesdad Tries Again - LED - GGG Baby Freedom - Ideal420 Soil - 12/12 From Seed

Definitely seeing indica leaf formation on AB1. Nebula is rebounding, strongly and showing the more Sativa style leaves. AB2 is not as "fat" as her sister. Maybe a more truer hybrid or more Sativa genetics in this one. She is not as tall nor as wide, but definitely reaching more and very tight nodes.
As far as smell, if I get very close I find the Nebula is the more traditional "weed" smell. The ABs have a more sweet smell. I know it's very early and the fragrance will change, but it very cool that the different strains have different odors.

Iced in. Out of milk, which is a huge problem, I drink a jug every few days. The wifey's grandmother has been with us for days now. I love her tremendously, but if I hear "I can't hear the TV, turn it up!" one more time im going to put her in the tent, turn on the led and close the vent holes....
On a positive note. I met up with a local mmj activist and got some goodies, and seeds. I'll post later with pics and seed names!

Grandma is asleep, apparently Transylvania Hotel 2 didn't hold her attention. So, I'm not going to have to turn the led on :) Meet a mmj activist through a website in our state. I've had help from this person before. Last week they gave me a 4inch inline fan and a 6 inch inline fan, also a fan speed controller.
Also some beans. I was going to share the strains, but I think it not best.
There are some I'm very interested in (all of them actually), some hybrids, sativa and indica.
Nebula is going crazy! She is noticeably different than 2 days ago. Everyone had water today, I didn't see any droop, but it has been a week. I will still do 1/4 cup of water every week until they ask for more.
Here is Nebula, fully recovered from her nute issue.

I was going to post a pic of the beans. But here are the fans and controller

My wife is amazed that people give growing equipment and seeds away, for free. I keep telling her the medicinal side of marijuana is a very unique group of people.
I've even her now talking about the benefits of pot, and I sit back and let her talk, after a few minutes she will introduce me. Ive exchanged numbers twice so far. Both people we met were sitting in the same waiting room as us, Duke University Hospital's neuro - oncology department.

Hey CD!!...been a while...been busy retiring and going to Mexico...enjoying these plus 28C temp's much more than minus 28's...lolool...good to see finally getting positive results...Awesome!!...patience and perseverance you have in spades!...well done...Cheerz...h00k...

Not to spin your world any, but,..

Are there preflowers on your Nebula yet? Do you plan on any topping or cloning? Having 2 Autos and 1 photo in your tent gives you all kinds of options to plan out the next 12 weeks. Just curious sir... Looking good!
Haven't checked for preflowers, I'll have to search around for pics on what to look for. I thought about topping, but im going to let her do her thing, I'll mess around and experiment next go round.
Hooked up the fan, awesome fresh air movement now! I was 77 degrees with just cfl, I'll check temps after an hour. Then I'll turn the led on and let that run for an hour and check temp. Today is a good day to lounge around and check temps throughout the day. Still iced in down in the south. Good news for grandma, if
She gets too ornery I'll leave the fan on if I lock her in the tent. Today is shower day for her, the good thing is I only have to spot her, the wife does the awkward stuff. *sigh*

Good news.
My base line was 77 degrees with 6 cfls. The fan I installed dropped it to 74 degrees. I turned on the led for an hour and it was 83 degrees. I can live with that. I'm checking the ambient room temp in my closet. The closet has a pair of bi-fold doors. The doors have those horizontal blades things. If the temp of the closet is close to 80 degrees, then I'm a happy camper. Our home thermostat is set a few degrees warmer than usual (thanks grandma).
Overall I'm very pleased.
With so much air exchange now, my wife can smell it. So once everything is set to my liking, I'll be searching for an odor solution.
She hasn't ever looked in the tent and asked if the reason she could smell it was because I was finally succeeding. With a grin ear to ear, I said "yup, finally"!

Led is off.
The fan is too loud for the wife and without enough air exchange, the led makes the tent too hot.
If she would let me drill a 4 inch home in the ceiling I could mount the fan in the attic and eliminate the noise and smell.
But that idea was shut down.
So, the led has been off for 2 days and I'll be flipping 12/12 soon because even on low setting the fan is loud. So, I can at least satisfy her 12 hours a day. :)
Pictures coming soon

Princess Nebula has pre-flowers! Tried to take a few pics of them, but didn't work so well. Everyone is happy and green AB2 is very bushy and tight growth. AB1 is still very small, no worries though, just probably genetics.
Nebula. First pic she looks all jacked and twisted, but that as after I was looking for flowers

Looks like AB1 might be flowering?? I don't think you'll be able to flower 3 plants with 150w of cfl. Might want to set the led above the ABs, remove 5 cfls, and let nebula get 1 6500k cfl and some led light scraps? Sorry those fans didn't help. I don't care for them much either, but,I use them anyway. The "silent" ones are about half as loud (still annoying). Keep us posted and good job!

Have you given them a good watering yet?

Both AB have two 150w 6500k. Nebula also has two, but they are only 5000k.
I've heard soft white, 2700k, is best for flowering. Do you know?
My thinking was keeping things like they are for the flip. If I can convince the wife of a hole in the ceiling I can run the led. If this happens, I'll move the autos under the led and let the "splash" hit Nebula. But wouldn't you think it best to leave the cfls and crowd them around Nebula instead of reducing her down to one bulb?

Well.. A Watt isn't necessarily an equal Watt, but, those 150W CFLs must draw around 40W each. I think if you took 5 out and replaced with your 300W LED, you'd actually run cooler and flower better. The ABs should flower at 18/6 (or whatever you are running) and keep the Nebula in veg where less light is needed. If it were me...

I'd put the 300led in the tent centered over the two autos
Put 1 6500k cfl over the Nebula to keep her in veg.
Run lights at 18/6
Top, train, twist, clone, etc.. The Nebula to stunt her for the next 7 weeks (just to give you something to experiment with)

Yes.. You want 2700 or 3000k CFLs for flower. I'd leave the blue ones in for a week or 2 of stretch and swap over when flowers "set". Where you place them depends on light schedule and what your plan is for the next weeks. What is your current light schedule?

Since this is your grow, and these are your plants, the real question is... "What is CD going to do?"
