Hey good morning my friend.
Great score.
But I see a lot of dust an debris on those fan blades.
Can you pop it open, clean and inspect it before you use it?:Namaste:
And just curious do you have a smoke detector in there?

That’s a good idea didn’t think of cleaning it out and yup we do and baking soda not sure about a fire extinguisher. It’s going to be a pretty janky setup but it’s temporary

Good idea opening it to clean it... When I got the Hermie... My light had pollen all over it...took me like an hour to get it all clean.... definitely didn't want to contaminate every other grow from that lol

Shit that’s a good point to he said he was a breeder so im going to have to deep clean it tried putting stretch outside for some sun but it looked like she was shivering so I brought her inside until it warms up a little bit more

The plan for stretch

Step 1 : mount the light

Step 2 : up pot to 5 gal if i can get soil or steal it from my fiancée

Step 3 : WIN

@Growings should I wait for it’s growth sprout or just transplant it so I can cover most of the stem
I up-pot as soon as the root ball will hold together, so it is actively growing when I tip (not top) at 3rd node
And what Bill says - open it up clean the fan blades, and dust inside/heat sinks etc with a paint brush so it runs cooler and more efficiently

How do I know if it’ll hold together?

Got a couple currant pics?
When they are ready you should be able to squeeze the pot and roll it back and forth and it will pop out in one piece.
Do it damp.
If it's not ready it just breaks up.

When the medium is still damp but not wet you should be able to very gently turn it upside down with the stem between your fingers - do it slowly, the whole pot should come out as a block onto the palm of your hand; if it doesn't bind, plop it back
As it is in quite a large pot for a seedling that may not be for some weeks so get some RootJuice/Rhizo in there

When you start with deepish pots, the plant has to go in that much deeper in the new pot, that's why solo cups are popular cos if you put a clear cup inside a coloured one, you can lift out the clear cup and actually see your roots, and they will be much more compact and easier to water correctly
Short fibre pots work even better as there is no transplanting as such, just drop the whole thing in the new pot when you see roots coming through the walls of the pot

I have had to transplant bare root seedlings before and it's doable, but best avoided if possible
I've also had leggy seedlings that had to go in almost the bottom of the new pot to get the soil level right at the stem

Probably isn’t ready then it looked like it was collapsing when i put my finger in to check to see if it needed water. I was just using what my fiancée gave me but next time I’ll go clear cup inside solo cup.

If I mixed this soil with some fresh coco how should I mix it? And should I add more nutes into the pot itself before planting stretch?

I'm never sure that's a good idea (@Bill284?) because the two medium are totally different and require different nutes/pH and watering intervals
Having said that, I grow exclusively in coco so maybe a soil grower will chime in with some better info

Here she is after coming back inside

Work on building roots and the dry cycle, very important.
You have time before the need a new home.

Thanks @Growings Hope you are well. :ciao:
I missed that question sorry.
Don't mix the two.
Run one or the other.
Ph issues can be a pain.
Just watch your overwatering.

So I’d have to buy that soil again? And I’ve been using the spray bottle on it can it still cause overwatering? I may have asked his before I got a bad memory

I run my autos straight outside in the ground this year. So far it’s been good. Actually the best iv been able to grow autos lol. I’m actually going to buy more now for that reason.
Nice I just put a photo in the ground yesterday see how that goes but I don’t think I want to plant anymore I have a feeling these 4 are going to be a handful very soon

They are small enough you can transplant into what ever medium you want coco or soil.
Just don't mix the two I ment. :Namaste:
I'll post a couple threads on watering.
