They do indeed Greengoodness, and I hope they are going to thrive in the big pots now. I up-potted the Blueberry and the MAC#1. The pot for the Red Mimosa XL Auto is still too soggy at the bottom for an up-pot. I have it outside in the sun, reverse wicking with the top covered.

Up-pot process:
First I covered the top of the pots in a thin layer of EWC (earth worm castings). I dug holes the size of the solo pots, sprayed the walls with Sea Brix solution and scattered some myco. I sprayed the roots of the plants with Sea Brix solution and sprinkled on more myco. The root balls were just tight enough to hold together into the hole whereupon they collapsed in. This is what I had hoped for. The roots should spread into the pot more easily if they are a little looser rather than compacted from the solo. One has to be gentle! I shake too much to stop and take photos. Here they are in their big pots with the RMXL waiting patiently for its pot to dry out a bit.

Glad the up pot went well & plants look healthy

Great job sister they'll be very happy with the larger space.🧺

Nice work Carmen👍👊❤️. They look like they never even noticed. This is going to be a great grow!😎
Thanks Gee, I have that feeling too 👊
Gorgeous pot up Carmen!
Thank you Otter, I have the third baby done now!

Thank you Shed!

Go babies, grow.
Thank you Matt!

Weekend Roundup

Happy Sunday!

I swear these plants grew an inch at least today, right in front of my eyes. Well the MAC#1 and Blueberry quite obviously, whilst the Red Mimosa trails a bit behind in size but they are all pushing out the fourth node leaves.

Your plants look very nice Carmen. :green_heart: 🍋
Thank you Keith!
Looking perfecto there!! Woot Happy Sunday!! 😎✌️
Woot woot Scottay! :)
They look good & happy now they have room to build some nice roots
Thanks Con!
Appreciating the tight node spacing. :thumb:
Thanks gwhunran! The node spacing on the little Red Mimosa is very tight. It's a tiny little plant and I wonder if it will remain this way or catch a growth spurt.

The plants are on day 18 above ground. The MAC#1 and the Blueberry are growing quickly but the Red Mimosa XL remains small.

@Gee64 when and how would you advise me to water these plants please? I don't think I can do a root soak because I won't be able to lift the wet bags of soil to let the water out. The soil was evenly squeeze moist when I up-potted.

My plants be like
Hell yeah! Thems some spirit feet right there!! I got invoked by the video and tried that dance......and...nope...it's too early..almost died in my kitchen..lol

Goooood Morning Ms Ray💚

As long as the plant doesn't develop dry spots you don't really need to. 1st run soil unfortunately quite often does, but you will know.

It will start by looking like starvation even when you know the pot has food in it. If that isn't caused by over watering it's almost always a calcium thing, so a good full watering with a saucer underneath to reabsorb the runoff will work well too.

Then if needed you can add more to the saucer until it stops absorbing in.

If you use that technique it's best to let the excess that won't absorb in sit for at least an hour before emptying the saucer to ensure dry soil remoisturizes and the heavy saturation homogenizes calcium.

Don't panic tho, just watch for some yellowing and if the soil is not too wet, then it's an early calcium problem and the drench will restore color by the time the soil dries down.

You are in 5gal bags?

Thank you Gee.
Is this for the first watering of the plants in their 5 gal bags? I worry about drenching the autos because they don't have any time for recovery from water shock. Are you saying that I must wet the entire pot with one deep watering to run off? Won't that be too much for the youngsters? Won't their roots get cold? My usual practice would have been to water in a circle, the diameter of the plant from leaf tip to leaf tip. However, I realize that doesn't rehydrate my LOS. Also, a lot of that water would fall straight through I think.

Cool, I'll play with this and see how I go.

Ok so after one hour I must empty the excess from the saucer right?

No recovery time = panic stations. I can't afford to yellow.

yep yep.

Ive got faith these little autos will grow into champions for you. Plus being seedsman seeds you know they come from great strong genetic stock. 🙏🏻
Thank you Jiggi! The Blueberry is Seedsman. The Red Mimosa XL is Sweet Seeds. I'm looking forward to some color!
