Highya Tom,

They're looking good. You learn fast! Looks like you'll be another well-versed cannabis grower gracing our magazine. Cheers

Just think of all you'll learn by doing things unconventional. Everyone else takes the easy road. I prefer to blaze my own trail. Good for learning. Cheers

Thanks Emmy so much. Jon actually guessed calmag two. Do u think i got them dry enough? Of course everything is subject to change. Right now i have the qb lite on full and veg only on the blurples viparspectras. Some mood lighting perhaps.
I like what you did giving them just a little water the other day since they had been sitting without for so long. This keeps the upper root system active and the plant metabolism elevated while you wait for those lower roots to recover and dry out to the point that they start sucking up water big time again. A little water on the top just to keep things going every 5 days or so wont hurt a thing, but keep working on your overall goal to dry out the soil all the way to the bottom before properly watering and saturating that root ball again.

You have me looking over my shoulder now Tom, I’m sure you meant someone else :laughtwo: You got some great help here with some real 420 rock stars. I feel like more of a tourist. Having a great time though.

Phew. All up to date. Lucky for me my plant (machinery, not mj ) is running well enough that I could do a little light reading, miss out on another mars promo, stuff like that. Do you know, I hear that our national average here (not US) is 14hrs of cyber-slacking per week. Like I said the machines are behaving for a rare moment- I earn my keep on long day’s at other times.
Tom you’re just going to be stoked when it comes to harvesting your little beauties. For a start they’ll be big beauties by then.
Forgive me if I have to hijack your journal for a quick vent:
I'm a great drummer (humble brag) and a mediocre guitar player. Cant play guitar anymore due to a forklift accident at an old job which smushed the fingers on my left hand and left scar tissue on a couple finger tips its just too painful to hold chords anymore :-(
Knife, that really grinds my gears. The price we pay to get through a day!
I’ve just been using a gas detector and found high levels of hydrogen sulphide in a spot where I spend an hour or two a day. Not impressed.
There’s gotta be another way...

Highya Tom,

Zip ties are a universal product to be used for many things. Looks like you've found a new use. If it keeps the buds growing, it works. Love the creativity.
Growing inside, budmasters try to keep an even canopy (top of plants closest to light) to create an even distribution of light to all colas. Colas arise from the canopy reaching for light. With a sea of colas, they become the canopy. That's what budmasters try to accomplish.
Yeah, picture quality isn't good enough to see what you're trying to say.
On my first grow I only wanted to get the growth habits down, and get a little stash for me. I learned so much more, and enough stash to carry me through until next harvest. Be good to yourself and don't worry, just take things as they come. It'd also be good to read other journals as to how they do things. The more you read, the better you'll become. That's why I like it so much! Cheers
