Clones In Soil: Hybrid Perpetual Grow 2021/2022

Ok, I wasn’t sure if there was much of a difference if I went 1, 2, 3, gallon. I’ll probably stick with a 3 gallon as my end pot bc of my space. I was thinking of going to 4 bc they started to get root bound in a 3 gallon. This is me being indecisive as per usual lol
I'd go as large as you can for the best results.

Oh yeah, I did! :battingeyelashes: And I’ll do it again if it means you leaving more Drake on my page

@InTheShed, so I have 2 trees down ready to be washed should I go ahead with lemon juice and baking soda? Or should I use peroxide this time? Will you remind me how much of the lemon juice and baking soda to add to a 5 gallon bucket?

Future’s past lol

Nice chop! I'd suggest lemon juice and baking soda, and Dutchman went with .5 cups each in 3 gallon buckets, so for a 5 gallon bucket you would go with .8 cups each. 3/4 should be fine!
Right on, perfect, thanks again Shed!

Everything I’m feeling atm…..

Jam Sech :theband: smooth sailing from here :surf: I just couldn’t be happier with my 2nd grow, it’s just flowing thru me, looking something like this :slide: :yahoo: :headbanger: :lot-o-toke:.

I’m ready for the next 4 plants in my 3rd grow, bring it on!

Omg I’m still at it y’all… I heard someone say they were in trim jail, well that’s exactly how I’m feeling atm lol:lot-o-toke:

I don’t think I’m going to have enough space in the mini fridge and I'm starting to panic. :nervous-guy:

This is 2 colas, and I have 18 to go and 2 other plants. I better start thinking outside the box if I want them all to fit. If I cut them any smaller then in the pic than I really won’t have enough room. I might just have to hang half to dry. If I hang dry in my garage what should the temp be?

These aren’t all going to fit and I still have 8 more, 18 colas off 2 plants, Hood Candyz and Future. Can’t wait to weigh it all and see how much I got back using the new light and nutes.

What Otter said! The RH is more important than the temperature. Though I'm not sure how you would control either in an open garage. I dry mine in a large cardboard box:
I think I may have to dry like this also. How do you regulate the drying in the box? What if the humidity drops? I have a box ready to go and tested the humidity, but it gets down to about 35% which I thought was too low? Maybe it just dries out quicker in a box?

If the RH drops I just close off the holes top and bottom, and when it gets too high I open them up and put a fan on the lower holes to push air through. RH is usually mid 50s to 60s where I am so I have a fan on the holes non-stop for the first 24-36 hours, and then I see how it settles after that. After a few days if it's in the mid 60s I'll just leave the holes open and the fan off.

I don't want to hijack this thread on the cardboard box method but can you point me in a direction where you go into this more and what it looks like a little more in detail?

Cruise by my perpetual, since it's my box! I'll be glad to answer any questions you have.

Thanks, Shed! I forgot about the cardboard box thingy lol I’ve heard about it tho. I’ll do that for Future lol (pun intended).
Welp, I was able to fit hood candyz in the fridge. I’m going to make/buy some more racks for the fridge. I saw where someone made shelves for their mini fridge using those cardboard mailing envelopes about 10x15inch, I measured lol I have a ton of cardboard boxes thanks to online shopping ;) I knew they’d come in handy one day.
Literally thinking outside the box! Now time learn how to make a drying box, definitely needs to have a better name, IMO. :)

Ps. @Renaissance Man, please high jack away, especially if it means me learning something new, than by all means.

I still have some space in the middle for at least 2 more shelves and at the bottom too or maybe for another bag. Looks like I have some projects to do.

I just knew this method would be too easy lol I hung a hydrometer in between the branches and it says the rh is 33% and the temp is 50-60%, what would be ideal, hang drying in a room?

still have some space

You’ve gotta put your buds in paper bags in the fridge if you’re drying that way.
The paper bags are very much a part of the RH science behind drawing moisture from the stem. Bag those buds, babe.
Oh and clip them from their stems :high-five:

33% is never ideal for drying harvests. Find a place in the mid 50s if you can, or if you can't you should probably clip and jar those by day 3 and see where the RH settles.
Ok, I’m not planning on hanging them to dry. That was more of s question than a statement, sorry about that.
I was making a box to dry in, until @Reave mentioned………
If you have low humidity I would avoid a box. They suck up humidity like nobody’s biz. Those paper bags should hold the rh higher though while still breathing. I actually really like paper bags for my dry climate. I used sheds box for quite a while too but I pushed humidity into it.
What if I put the box in the spare bedroom with a humidifier and vents closed so no heat goes in the room and I can open the window if I need to. This room is in the back so I’m not worried. I have to do something bc I still have 2 more trees to chop and only the one mini fridge. Not to mention no humidity here, at all really.

Ok, ok don’t panic, it’s fine, everything is just fine
I’ve been in a mood all day bc I thought I had it under control this time. I thought I would be able to fit one plant per BPB. 4 bags total would have been a perfect fit in the fridge. but I’m guess that’s way too much per brown paper bag. What will happen when doing this, will they mold?

I live in a very dry climate also. My first harvest I hung for three to four days then went straight to the jar with a 58% boveda pack. Worked really good for me. Just throwing out ideas.
