Ok, how long can they wait once removed from the light, do I need to wash, trim and dry asap or do I have time, like can I wait a day or 2?Best thing to do is harvest at lights on.

I personally trim, wash, drip dry then fridge cure.Ok, how long can they wait once removed from the light, do I need to wash, trim and dry asap or do I have time, like can I wait a day or 2?
I’m finally going to take out Hood Candyz, future and Sandia Sangria this week, the 11th week of bloom. I’ll do them one by one. Leaving Arise maybe another week or 2.
We tried all 3 and they taste real good, with real nice effects on the body and mind. I’ll give a better description for each flower in it’s own post with a lot more detail to flavor, smell, effects and smoke.
11 weeks bloom tomorrow and I finished up watering early today. Instead of 6 gallons of water with runoff, all 4 took 3 gallons with runoff…
I’m not sure what this means for Arise bc she should have a few more weeks left, but here she is acting just like her sister’s, like what the heck lol
I’m guessing it’s bc their grow environment is exactly the same, so yeah, Idk, maybe.
How long can the plants wait to be harvested once removed from the lights?
Yeah, exactly. I guess if some people give them 36 hours dark time they can last a little while before actually cutting them down, washing, trimming and hanging (not necessarily in that order)Do you mean if it's harvest day but you don't have time to actually harvest?
Oooh, I’ve been reading about fridge curing. I do have a mini fridge in my garage we usually use it for our beverages, bottled water mostly. Problem is, I’m not sure if it’s frost free or not. I’ve also been reading on curing in a paper bag or is it drying, I’m not to sure bc I just read about it yesterday as part of the process for curing in a FF fridge. I think it said to dry in a bag then jar. I’d like to try it out for myself. So yeah, I’ve been trying to do my homework on harvest since I’ve only done the one, which I feel like I ruined it right at the end. Mostly bc I dried it to high and too fast with 0 humidity, right in the middle of the hottest time of summer, so sad.I personally trim, wash, drip dry then fridge cure.
I grow predominantly outside so my girls are dirtier than month old bong water!
Right on, timing is everything atp of the grow.Just in time for the action
Looking good, 420G!
I’m not sure if it’s frost free or not.
Don’t say that.I feel like I keep asking stupid questions, as if I’m not doing my homework or research lol
Most folks don't have room for a dark place to leave plants before harvest and other folks think it doesn't add anything to the plant by doing it. Of course, there are those who swear up and down it improves the buds.I guess if some people give them 36 hours dark time they can last a little while before actually cutting them down, washing, trimming and hanging (not necessarily in that order)
What's best for you is best for them, because you'll have time to get the job done right!Options, I guess I’m looking for options at this 11th hour. I just want what’s best for them, either way works for me.
But does it work for them is the question lol thanks again shed for all your help, it’s desperately needed and appreciated
If you want the basics of low and slow, here is a great summary that MrSauga put together a while back. If your mini fridge isn't frost free I think some folks with those make sure to open the door a few times a day to let the built-up moisture out.Oooh, I’ve been reading about fridge curing. oh ok, well than it is definitely frost free. I’ve never had to defrost…..yehsssss! This makes me real happy, I’m so excited to have a second chance at drying and curing. I really needed another option bc as I mentioned above, I didn’t cure the first time and dried way to high and fast, ruining all my hard work. And I can see it happening again with the branches I took to practice with. Is there a link to an article or thread you can send my way on the subject? Thanks so much for the info, it’s greatly appreciated and desperately needed.Have you ever had to defrost it?
It used to be quite a pita back in the day. I haven’t seen a fridge in years that isn’t frost free. Fridge drying is a great way to control a low and slow dry! Best buds ever (round here anyway).

Trala, lalala la lalala laaaaaaaa, you’re the bestest!Don’t say that.
Everyone learns and develops in their own ways. Some research every detail while others (100% me) rely on the opinions, advice and experiences of friends.
I personally hate homework and research. I bought my latest Barney’s Farm seeds based on their names. I legit didn’t even click yield strain etc, not even joking! That’s not to suggest that’s the right way, it’s just my way.
I think the beauty of this forum is you attract the type of helper you need. No question is stupid. This is a safe place for you to do you without feeling like you have to defend your personality type or the way you learn. Xo
A flush is optional, if you do flush the media it will lead to a bit more color fade. Some people love to flush at the end but it’s up to your preference.which reminds me, should I stop giving them @Prescription Blend nutes now that we are at the end of bloom and just continue with water as needed?
A flush including full nute feeding at the end is showing good action.A flush is optional, if you do flush the media it will lead to a bit more color fade. Some people love to flush at the end but it’s up to your preference.
Ok, I’m not necessarily going to flush. So do I keep feeding them all through the end? I was waiting for the leaves to start to fade, will this sill happen if give them nutes until the end or is this something that only happens during flush?A flush is optional, if you do flush the media it will lead to a bit more color fade. I’m sorry, I don’t follow?A flush including full nute feeding at the end is showing good action.
I think Otter meant that if you flush clear water through and then go back to feeding it will prevent any build-up in the soil. Might be a bit late to make a difference for you, especially with rootbound-ish plants.I’m sorry, I don’t follow?
