Clones In Soil: Hybrid Perpetual Grow 2021/2022

End of 9th week update. Girls are still feeding and wanting water as usual, with no sigh of slowing down. I’ll continue to give them what the want and hopefully they will give me some kind of sign that they are ready to C’est la vie. As of now they’re still thriving away, still on feeding and watering schedule as normal.

Clones are also coming right along.:cheer:
Ps. Yeah guys this @Mars Hydro fc-e3000 led lights with @Prescription Blend nutes have brought my grow to the next level!

Pss. I know all grows are different but What’s the longest some of you have gone before harvest, to your surprise or expected?

16 weeks in bloom. :D Unexpected, even though it was a cross of Oldtimers Haze. But it yielded over 6 oz.

Exactly, Tbh I couldn’t do it without the help of @420 Magazine and everyone here, they’re great! All your clones look awesome nice and healthy, what nutes are you using?

Those are advanced nutrients I use makes water PH perfect no guess work of up or down PH which I have done.
Hands down advanced nutrients are the best IMHO.

took some buds towards the top to get a good look at the trichs and was able to get a look at the sugar balls too. I wanted to make sure nothing was inside. :goof:

Sugar ball is exactly that, with nothing inside.

16 weeks wow, fingers crossed I won’t have to wait that long lol….welp, I guess we shall soon find out. :Namaste:

We made it to 10 weeks today, and finally they have slowed down their water intake. They were sucking it down like nobody’s business, now it’s puddling up at the top. I was giving them 6 gallons of water (total) with 20% runoff. Today they took 4 gallons with 20% runoff. A lot of the pistils on future and hood candyz are now a redish, brown color. Arise still has some time. And Sandia sangría should be finishing up with future and HC. But her pistils are still real white.

And then I see this on Hood Candyz. Should I be worried did she really herm on me or is this her last ditch attempt at saving herself? Should I go ahead and take her down?

This is an indication that the rootball is solid rather than the fact that it's getting close to finished!

Not to say that it isn't close to finished, but water puddling on top and taking less water before runoff usually means there's no place for the water to go.

Too late to keep it from seeding so I'd harvest it when it's ready. Any pollinating it does at this late stage won't make much difference.

seeds make me nervous. Any more?
Not that I can see, I really had to dig for that one. It was all snuggled up in the bud. But I thought I noticed a nanner and thats when I started to dig a lil.

Ps. Soooo nervous! :nervous-guy:

Oh man really lol I swear right when I think I got the hang of it, I’m all wrong. I read an article that was telling how to tell the sign when it’s time to harvest. And not wanting water anymore or as much as before was one. So I thought just maybe they were starting to show they were slowing down. I needed something more to tell me then just the trichomes bc they are so hard for me to see, although they do point out it’s the only way to tell 100%. I still need some other kind of sign. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Ps. Is this bc their root bound?

When they're drinking less it is a sign they're slowing down, so when they needed watering every other day and now only need it every 3 or 4 days, that would mean the end is nigh. The pot being able to hold less water is about the spaces between the roots, and when there is less space, more water runs out. Soil and air gaps will retain water but roots won't.

Trichomes through a loupe would be the final say for most, though some go by water use, change in smell, and overall appearance.
Ps. Is this bc their root bound?
Not necessarily bound, but packed. Bound would come next. :) As I recall, you're not in large pots.

10.5 weeks bloom update.
I notice the girls have packed so much more weight and trichomes this past week. They still seem to be thriving away. :green_heart:
