I'm going to trim the flowers off of Dad, because as usual he's way aheads of Mom. He'll grow more..... :)

Eeeeekkk!

Stacked them up on each other this morning; the male tossed pollen like those tablespoonful of cinnamon eating yootoob folk.

I hope it didn't get anything else. I waited an hour before I put the clones in (I wash them off under the sink every night before I put them in my GLR unit).

:peace:

I took the top of the father and jammed it into the top of the mother then killed the father today; too much going on and don't want to risk cross pollination. I then put the clones in, and every night I'm going to wash them off under water before I put them under GLR in the other unit until I feel safe. I washed the tent out too. :)

what nutes do you use PC? I'm sure its posted but I have a short attention span.

I started out using FF until I knew which ones the parents would be, then kept using it on them but used AN Iguana to finish out the mother rejects. Since I want to run my FF out, I'm using it all the way here; my rate is two waterings then the appropriate feeding week on the FF schedule (once a week).

Funny you should mention that I was just going to look more into that method before my next venture into basic hydroponics (one plant in a 5 gallon DWC bucket). I've probably got most of the stuff for the mineralized soil now and can get the calcium carbonate, Alaskan forest humus, glacial dust, etc. here in no time. I'm not sure what the feeding method is entirely, but I don't really foliar feed; too time consuming. I'd like to use the rest of the method, though.

:)
It's a mess like Hell up in this unit, but at least I have room to keep the mother rejects alive to the end; it gives me extra smoke, plants to compare the mother to, and to compare each other to (in order to see how close I am to having this mess stabilized). I may get lucky and do it in 2 more generations, but I doubt it.

:peace:

I like the mineralized soil part of the Hi-Brix method; maybe I'll look into the rest at a later date, BID. Here's a pic of the kushy looking mother plant:

On the right in this pic is a Chemdawg D BX 3 clone I took from the original grouping I started this breeding project with. I think it's a good idea to keep it alive to compare to as I go along, not to mention the smoke is good. :)

I'll get the rest of the mom rejects in here in ten days or so to finish out. Next time I'm going to isolate the father and wait until the moms get further into flowering to choose one.

More info later. :peace:

Man as weird as all this looks, it's mostly getting decent light and flowering like crazy. I can't wait (1 week before G13 grow is done) to get these under the 600 watt. I can get better pics in that unit; this one is behind a wall and I can barely stand up in front of it as I'm leaning in 'cause it's so tight. This is mostly the Chemdawg D BX 3-1 mother rejects :)
