Thanks CHH and KJC. I think I may be finally coming to an end of a very rough mold season. It's been so bad here that the only thing I've had to water outside is 4" pots all Summer long; 6" pots get a bit dry but the plants live it's been that rainy. I can't keep that dampness outside.
I think if I keep the buds small by topping the plants and training, I can keep the mold out of my units CHH. I hope anyway. I topped that Pre '98 I put a pic of on your thread 'cause it was too tall and getting heat stressed it was okay when I cut it but I put it in the dark to dry and it got mold after the chop I didn't know that could happen
Rain again today Well it don't look like I'm gonna get an end to this mold season until Winter. I took a few more top nugs from my Pre '98 even though I didn't see any mold. It opens up the plant enough that there shouldn't be, but the Chem project SCROG is dense enough to get some so I better defoliate it some. I'll put a picture of it up tomorrow with my CDDBX3 reveg and my weak clones of the same. I'll be getting a look at the breeding project round 4 in a few minutes when the light comes on.
Chemdawg D BX 3, generation 4 - first mother plant:
Second mother plant:
Third mother plant (my second choice so far):
Fourth mother plant (one I'm leaning towards; top stretched too high to pic):
I think I'll have stabilization next time; they all look similar. It's hard to tell what they would have looked like without being pollinated, so with the final round I'll just pick a single mother and bloom the rest of the females out to smoke. Post more pics soon.
My luck has been crap for a while now. That plant is going into isolation because of a severe lack of dope. As far along as it is, I would have took it to the end anyway, weedless or not. I'll look at the higher buds on the outer perimeter of the SCROG, but I only see them in the middle of the plant, so it must have hermied. I better check the Pre '98 out too.
I think I figured it out. I give folks reps and make a "comment", then I think I have actually made a public comment, at least that is what I am telling myself. That plant looks AWESOME!
