ChemDawg D BX 3

Notes: 7 of the 8 plants in my breeding project are showing sex, and at this point I have 3 confirmed females. 2 of the males are at the point where I need to make the decision to cull and move the 2 plants that I'm breeding into their own unit. My theory is that if I go with a slightly later flowering male it could possibly have more Sativa in the genetics. The problem is that I don't want to cull a healthier male and find out that the reason the second male flowered later is due to poor plant health. I'm going with my gut on this one; I have a mother and father picked, so I'll cull the other males tonight and get ready.

Every time I end my posts with the you-know-what sign another battle erupts, so I'm going to toss that smiley onto the scrap pile with mr headbang until there's actually some hope for it :(

I wish I had it all to do all over again. I would take all the males and females from the original grow and do a total cross pollination. The next generation would have been an equal number of seeds from all of the mothers and would have been picked from different sides of each mother plant. All generations afterwards would have been by selective breeding (appearance and description of Chem D). Math sucks when you went to a crappy school and have to figure out how it works by yourself. I'm at the point here where most of the plants in a small grow look similar, so what I'm going to do is the opposite. I'm going to cull all the fathers except one, and after a single pollination of all females I'll only take seeds from the best looking mother for the next (and maybe last) generation. I think this project is '91 Chem dominant and it's too late already, but I'll try to salvage something with a lil' hair on its a$$ out of the mess.....

I'm gonna breed out the one, BID. I've decided to change my motto in life from oh chimp of little faith to oh chimp of no faith. And speaking of which, I'm trying to stay positive about the matter but I had to cut out 3 of the tops from my next Chemdawg D BX 3 clone (the one I'm chopping in a few weeks). The sulfer burner works for the time being, but if you don't get rid of the conditions that cause grey mold it comes right back. I defoliated the plant some, defoliated the Pre '98 more, and decided that I need to do some more tweeking to my systems. I'll hit it with the burner again to keep the mold suppressed soon.
 
have you thought about getting a ozone/neg ion air purifier ,i got 1 from am aze on for around 100 usd and its been great for many things from odor to fungal growth i can get you a link, mine is a cherry wood (real) and has 2 knobs a switch and 2 plates in the back you clean every so often it really does wonders i cant remember what growing bud smells like unless i jam my nose into the plants! i have enough faith for both of us,,i was down to my lasr 2 beans of a strain i really wanted to get the purple pheno well the last 1 was the one i had been after you'll find one have you tried mixing in a similar strain but not,,for 1 generation to stir up some possibly dormant genes?

Yes and it is hell waiting for the flash :cheesygrinsmiley:
 
The sound would be so alarming that it would be hard to not look that way but at least if you do you'll be blinded instantly and won't see the dime-sized pieces of your neighbor's car (and your neighbor too) hitting your body as the world disintegrates. I don't think a human body would be in the form of a solid by the time the flash happens probably somewhere between a liquid and a gas looks like it's gonna be a happenin' soon too just hopefully not here :(

What is really f'ed up is we have been pondering that very thought most of our lives.

edit -- I am stalled on "Dismissed" but I will eventually tell the tale. When I do I will get to a mission with nuclear weapons.

We were correct pondering these thoughts.
 
Me too I hope I'm wrong but what's happening worldwide now indicates something major is about to happen. Hopefully we'll be watching it from this side of the planet like a fireworks show minus the happy oohs and ahhs, and not watching a 20,000 degree 'shroom of doom growing in our backyard.

The one in front got culled just after this pic (hermie). These must be somewhat Sativa dominant seeing as how they stretch a lot in flower. Except for having such a short grow unit I'm glad. They seem to be similar in appearance; we'll see as they progress. Here's one of the females (the father is in the background):

I'm doing a cross pollination of all 4 of the remaining females to ensure that I get a good mother. The runt which I put back into veg from this got the ol' choparoo today :straightface:
