If you have any type of a temperature probe, try to measure the soil in those pots; I think your plant roots may be too cold. If you decide not to go with a seedling starter mat, can you put a piece of insulation board or something nonconductive underneath the ones that are directly on the floor?
What I have done in the past is run a seedling starter mat on a timer for the full time the lights are off and about 15 minutes after they come on again I set it to shut off. I've got a grow area that gets cold this time of year I have to deal with, and I had to shut the inline fan off both of my 250 watt MH/HPS units to bring the temps up lately.
You asked about a T5 assembly I have before, and now that I think about it you don't have to buy the brackets I'm using. Each individual T5 light comes with the connector cord and 2 clip brackets; you can space these closer than I have them with the separately purchased brackets. I was actually thinking of getting a piece of sheet metal, bending it to form an arc, and mounting them side by side (like an airplane hangar ceiling looks) to get a good curve and reflection. Bulbs built into the contour of the reflector. :)

yup, I did answer you renegade69.

I like the word doobie and I use it to this day :) I call resin from joints doobie juice. I don't know about in a coons age though lol.

b.real,

I was sitting her looking at your girls, and I was wondering what spectrum(s) are you using with the cfls? How many watts/lumes is in there currently?

ie, Is there a mix in lighting? Do you give them at a ratio like 1 x 6500, 2 x 5500 for Veg growth and 4 x 2700 for flower growth mix between them, so the plants have both types of CFL? It seems that since they are in a 12/12 light cycle their whole life, they need the full mix from day one to help maximize their grow profile during the limited hours of lighting they have during their life cycle.

I lowered the number of 2700 in my 24/0 veg space because they were causing stretching, while the 6500's did not. Could you add more 2700 to generate stretch?

I am pondering converting one of my grow spaces into a pure 12/12 from day one space. I like the idea of a space to quickly run some mixed grows in at same time, with plants of all different ages and types, and lots of "new" tastes, from there.

i thought it would be funny using words i haven't heard in a long time
im surprised you still say Doobi Brotha Br

B. Real, not trying to keep the banter going on your thread but Renegade; You asked "How has going to 12/12 that early worked for you?" I've followed B's journals going 12/12 from seed & it's worked great for him. How is that not answering your question? I don't get it but I still love you Renegade. :thumb:

A doob is one of my favorite things to call a joint :) Yep if you come over to PotChimp's place, bring doobage by that I mean grass and plenty of it 'cause my favorite thing to smoke is dope!

That's what I say a man after my own heart :thumb:

I was simply poking fun at the poking fun...that's all.

Nuff said...and I'm off.

I got laughed at yesterday when playing COD for referring to it as pot. Go figure.

I have 5 cool and 5 warm cfls, but the leds are on now so there's no cfls running. I can't sleep so I took a photo of the lux above my casey jones sprouts.
