Wow Dave, TOAST's cloning technique has me spoiled with these big-ass clones I take. I never clip leaves on mine, and it's never made a difference. I've never understood why this is done with clones. Do people really have that much trouble with cloning that it requires you to damage the cutting? I take one cut per plant, that's it, and they typically take up to two weeks to root, but I'm running 100% success with those effortless produce bags.
This is cool. We get to watch each other's plants develop in the same timeframe, same strain, same soil.
By trimming the leaves, you put all the plants effort into making roots...at least that is what I have read and it seems to work. This clone was 12 days since I took her.
