Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Good Morning,Ladies ! About 75 hours from soak to sprout-they definitely want to grow!

1775533

So,the domes are off ,and they're in the box with the loryder-they're on the floor, about 30" from the light
I figure they should start getting used to the real world asap-it's bright down there, but not intense.

I'll post pics again when they start looking more like seedlings.

Fresh seeds definitely pop faster than the ones in my 5 year old stash-they take at least 4 full days,if they pop at all...

Nice bro! What strain are they? Also brought my Green Crack outside. She loves it

The one on the left is a Peyote Critical, and the other is Northern Light-they
popped at exactly the same time-I wasn't expecting them till tomorrow or so.
They didn't even give me enough time to start thinking I'd f*cked them up somehow...I like that!

Can't wait to get my new tent. What do u think a coupke photos will yield me? I can pry 3+ out an auto each.

Hard to say-I get about 6 oz off of a 2.5-3 foot plant outdoors, but I'm pretty new at this indoor thing.
I know the seed vendors say that indoors yields a bit less than outdoors-probably because it's hard to give them the kind of light coverage that they get from the sun.
Your Green Crack will show you what the sun can do !

So hard to calculate one plant!!!! I get the square meter and all that but can't seem to break it down per plant. I'll start a. Journal when my Tangerine Dream gets planted. Hoping for 5 oz. My green crack is just getting her pre flowers. Up until now she's been getting 18/6 light. Hoping she takes off

All the calculations aside-you never know till they go into the jars how much
you're really going to get-sometimes less, sometimes more than expected.

Sounds like you've got a cool landlord-you'll have to spot him an eighth when she's done...

Just a tiny update on the new girls-they seem happy in their new home-they've only been in there for one day,but so far,so good....

And here's just a budshot from the loryder#2-I watered her today(she drinks a gallon every 5 days now) and went over her with a fine toothed comb, and can't find even 1 amber trichome-she's going to be with us for awhile yet...

1776296

And here's a pic of the whole plant while she was out for watering-still 11 inches tall ,and the buds are still fattening up...

1776297

I hope she finishes soon-I'm going to need the "good light"in the center of the box for the seedlings soon...
But she's on her timetable, not mine,so we'll see how long she drags this out....

Thanks for stopping by! See you in a few days....

Those are some happy girls I bet that loryder smells incredible. Looking forward to what that peyote critical will do I got some coming from seedsman should be here any day now

Ahhh ok. I do mostly auto
I grow autos but Ive got 9 photo beans so gotta use then right! Just bought a 2x4x6 tent. So 2 photos fit nicely?
Last run I had 3 plants in 3 gallons of soil,It was packed. This run i have 2 five foot plants. It just depends on how big you want them.

That depends on who you ask...I think she smells amazing, but the wife just thinks she stinks-
I tell her "yeah,but it's a good stink"!;)

Youre the man! So that's what I'm in for? I'm only doing 2 then hahaha

This is just a little info on how I prep my soil before I stick plants in it-(Black Magic oganic potting soil, from Home Depot)
A few years ago,I got this 1970's cement mixer thingy from my Dad's house-the brand name is "Odjob"
Don't know if they still make them, but it works well for soil-My dad said it didn't work
worth a $hit for cement,So I found something it's actually good for:

I put 7 gallons of soil in it,along with 1/2 cup of Dr.Earth organic fertilizer(weak mix),
And a quart of mosquito dunk treated water

Then you screw the lid on,and roll it around the yard for awhile:

The "vanes" on the sides mix things up nicely-I roll it around for a while every 3 days or so,
and by the time the plants are ready,I should have plenty of good microbes growing in there.
I started this batch the day I found out my young plants were both males,so about two weeks ago...

Here's a pic of the Dr. Earth stuff that I put in there-I may not have put enough in to actually do any good, but it makes me feel like I'm improving it a little-I didn't want to put too much in-It's much easier to add it later than it is to remove it,or deal with the problems it might cause.

I'll be using Mega Crop for the grow,so there won't really be a need to add anything else, anyway.

So there you have it-hopefully my "Recipe for Success"-time will tell-it did work well with my last grow-the only difference this time is the "mosquito dunk" treated water-which may help a little with those annoying soil gnats that always seem to show up...

I never really worried about them with my outdoor grows, probably wouldn't worry much now
if the little buggers would stay in the grow box,but they seem bent on exploring the rest of the house-they cause a little "trouble in paradise" because they seem to really enjoy buzzing around my wife's face....

Thanks for stopping by-I'll post up the seedlings progress on Monday or so...

And have a great 4/20 !!
