Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Well,I'm kind of anticipating males with the bagseeds,I consider it a gift if they're female-the one that took me by surprise was the "feminized" male.
But,hopefully I've gotten the male plants out of the way for this season-it'll probably help that all the seeds I got are feminized--but with my luck .....are they?

can't wait to see what you got
RQS Northern Lights , & Barney's Farm Peyote Critical all feminized photos

Now I'm gonna be nervous germinating them-my seeds have all been freebies or bagseed in
the past-if they don't pop,no biggie-Now it's actually going to matter..

I may try the rockwool cubes-I have a dismal record with the paper towel method.

Those should be nice strains. I have a Barneys Orange Sherbert going now its still very early but I have been very impressed. I germinated mine using the paper towel method and my seeds had long enough tap roots to plant in 24 hrs

If you want to see the Peyote Critical after about 6 weeks from seed pop, check out my grow in Sig below...
Grows nice, lil lanky even under CMH, budsites look good though, just flipped mine.
I have run Tangerine Dream, Acapulco Gold, G13 Haze, Laughing Buhdda, Pineapple Chunk, Dr Grinspoon and a few other Barneys Strains... All been tops, can recommend their genetics as stable and THC and CBD are tested.
Pros.

I just had a look at your grow @Lowrider72-Damn that's impressive!

Your plants look so happy & healthy, and there'a alot of 'em...
You're gonna have more smoke than you know what to do with! :goodjob::bongrip:
(but I'm sure you'll figure it out ;))

:lot-o-toke:... For about 6 months...
hehehe...
and cheers on the ups, be checkin in and see how ya go.

Just checking in-no update today-My 3 year old granddaughter is sick, and I'm the babysitter :)
She doesn't know about grandpa's little "hobby",and I need to keep it that way.

She's not sick enough to be in bed,so she pretty much follows me everywhere....
So,as soon as I'm not a babysitter,I'll be back :peace:

I like to soak my beans until they crack, then put them flat side up in the soil so that the flat side is just barely visible. You’ll be able to see tap root growth and chlorophyll production without having to mess with it later.

Better late than never...
Not too much to update with this week, since the herd has been thinned considerably, but the little
LoRyder is doing well, fattening up since she gets the "good light" in the box now-lots of brown pistils, but she's also cranking out the fresh ones like nobody's business.

The trichs are pretty much all cloudy now,and no amber ,so she's got a ways to go,I'm thinking like 2 weeks more.
Here she is in the box:

Hard to tell from the pics, but the biggest bud is about as big around as my wrist.
She's little, but the buds are very dense, with alot of frost.
Took this pic through my loupe,so I could only get the top in the pic:

Not sure what she's going to do in the next 2 weeks or so,but she's got about 14 nice buds on her ,and they're still growing everyday,so even though she's small, she may end up with a fair yield for an 11" plant.

Lastly,if anyone's interested, here's a pic of the "boys club" outside-I want to harvest some pollen from them,so they get to live for awhile-I didn't really know if the NLxBB male would start to reveg after going back to a spring light schedule outside from 12/12 inside, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

They're both just growing like weeds, although I don't think the one on the left will flower fully till the nights get longer-he's got a few preflowers, but that's all.

So that's about all for today, not sure how much I'll be around for the next few days-gotta take the wife in for surgery tomorrow (gall bladder removal), and when she comes home,I'll be the nurse for a few days,
So there may not be much time for anything.

I'm going to start my next crop after the surgery thing is squared away, probably first of next week,
the plan is a Peyote Critical, and a Northern Lights, but I may decide to do just one-although 3 was too many, and 1 looks sort of silly in there all by itself, so 2 will probably be just right...

See you next time, and Thanks for stopping by !

Thanks,Tom-She's pretty healthy (except for that damn gallbladder),so hopefully she'll sail through it-she's pretty nervous though, never had surgery before-

I had mine removed about 15 years ago. I was operated upon at 5 PM, awake with next to no pain at 7PM, up and about by 9 PM (even though the nurses didn't like it, it was OK'd by the surgeon), and out of the hospital by 10 AM the next day. It wasn't the same as it was even 5 years earlier. I had small slits for endoscopic surgery, rather than the much larger cuts used to remove the gall bladder way back then. Your wife should sail right through it without a problem.

Thanks,@Old Salt for the encouraging words, hopefully it goes as well as yours did-
I read your post to the wife a moment ago,I think it helped her with her
anxiety over the procedure.

She's supposed to come home about 2 hours after the procedure,so they've
sped things up-seems soon to me, but the Dr. says that's standard procedure now days.
I'll let you know how it goes-we're leaving for the hospital in about 45 minutes...

Hey Carcass.
Hope the wifey is doing well. The anxiety of surgery can be horrible.

Really sorry about your plants. Weird about the feminized seed.
I have some peyote critical as well. Not sure when I'm going to run it though.

Man, I still can’t get over how they were all boys. Sucks, so much.
Best wishes to your wife carcass, my wife had her gal bladder taken out also. She came home the same day from the hospital but spend about a week in bed. It is a quick surgery though, I think my wife’s took all of 20 or 30 minutes actually in the OR
