Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Daughter-in-law just had this surgery, like OldSalt said next morning it was like it didn’t happen with her, some will take it differently. But I left two OGs rolled and ready in case it started to hurt !
I bought 20 seeds and only got 2 gals out of it !

Hey Carcass, Hi to wifey, be on the mend in no time. Cant keep a good woman down......not without restraints....and a lengthy jail term....
hehe.
Ride easy champs.

Well, things seem to have gone fine-She's sore, but hungry (probably a good sign)
The surgery took a bit longer than usual ,surgeon said it was "impacted" from inflammation,so It didn't want to let go (at least that's my understanding of it)

She's home,on the couch, telling me how to do things,so her "old self" is coming back pretty quickly,
which is a very good thing-I've got to admit,I think I was as nervous as she was,but I didn't let her know that.

Thank You all very much @Tomuk17 ,@Old Salt, @Virgin ground ,@ChefDGreen ,@West Hippie and @Lowrider72 ,
For the encouraging words-they mean a lot,and I really appreciate the concern.

Sounds like it's time to return to my nursing duties-I'm being paged from the living room...
So I'll be back a little later, and Thanks again to you all:thanks:

I’m almost always as nervous as my wife about things like this, but we can never let them know. We seem confident so they can rest a little easier.

Here's how you sort of even up the canopy when you've only got 1 small plant in the box,and
your light is a pain in the ass to adjust:

She's fattening up,but not a bit of amber yet:

She's actually only 46 days in flower right now,66 from germination.
I was thinking it was 76 days,till I checked my notes-so she's going a little longer than Seedsman's claim,but not much.
I'll be starting my next crop on Monday ,so I'll see you then.
The wifey is doing fine,so I should have the time :peace:

Glad your wife is recovering successfully. This thread really never gets old and warms my heart. I’m excited to see how you outdo yourself with an even smaller grow next. IMO this really should only be the start.

End game maybe could be a pot made from a screw on cap for a soda bottle?

How close to harvest?

I'm kidding,of course- I looked at the boys outside today,and this one's about a day away from dropping pollen-9 days from I.D.ing it as a boy-jeez-males don't mess around-seems like yesterday that I saw "a flower",now it's ready to do it's thing.

Another interesting thing about the 2 males I've got outside-no aphids,no whiteflies,no caterpillars,no pests at all-outdoor females have always been "pest magnets"...Maybe it's the lack of stink or something,
but none of the usual critters are interested.

I'm pretty sure no one really gives a rats ass about male plants, but since I don't have much else going on right now,I've got to do something....(I still have the LoRyder going, but she pretty much takes care of herself at this point)

I am going to start a Peyote Critical and a Northern Lights later on today,so I'll have something to keep me busy for awhile.

So I soaked a couple of my new seeds in rainwater for 24 hrs,and they went into
the solo cups this morning-I seriously considered doing the paper towel thing, but that has
just never worked well for me,so they're sitting on the warmer till they hatch (they were actually already opening, just from soaking)

So,here's the official beginning of my next grow:
1774029

1774030

Into the cups and on to the warmer...

1774031

So,there'll be more on them when they pop their heads out (the domes come off as soon as they do) I'm hoping for the best, fingers crossed and all that stuff...

So here's a couple pics of my current little girl-I'm pretty much just waiting for her to show me a little amber before her time is up-taking a long time,it's as if she knows....

1774037

Good n' frosty, just no amber yet:

1774040

I think she's getting tired of waiting,starting to foxtail a bit,but I don't care,it's all good smoke...

Here she is in her home, still leaning to get the "good light"to all the buds...

1774042

1774043

She should be done by the time the Peyote Criticaland Northern Lights move in.

Here's a shot of the "boys club" outside-they're doing well-some leaf yellowing on the NLxBB,but
his days are numbered-he's just about ready to start dropping pollen

1774044

Pretty incredible how fast the male flowers develop-it's like 10 days since I stuck him out in the dirt

1774045

So either later today,or tomorrow,he's going into the shop to be hung upside down over a cookie sheet for pollen collection-

Well, that's pretty much it for today,I'll update when (or if) the seeds pop--
Thanks for stopping by,see you in a few days :peace:

Why weren’t these photos in plant of the month and photo of that top of the month?

I think they have to be this tall to qualify, and she's too short ;)

It's just laziness,really-I could adjust the light, but she's not going to be in there very much longer.
Since I didn't top her,the main bud is still trying to be the main bud,so the little canopy is pretty uneven.

itreative got some lowryders and just got 2x2x4 tent. Your tent only fits 2? Glad i saw this i was gonna do 3

I had a long veg, so that's the reason I can only fit 2. My plants are around 5' tall. I could do 6-8 small plants if I only veg them for a week or two.
