Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Thanks for that,Salt!
So I cancelled the Bluelab, and ordered the PH-200-I read the pdf,and the accuracy is+/- 0.02
97 bucks out the door, with storage solution and cal. fluid. $9.00 more than the other one....even I can afford that!
Thanks Again !

Happy Monday!
Time for a little update...The Peyote Critical is hanging in the closet drying now,so the Northern Lights has the box all to herself now...She's not looking real good,though...
I posted a pic of her yesterday, because she's acting odd this last week, got some great advice on how I managed to screw her up this late in the game-

I gave her a "clean out the old nutes" flush last Monday, and then when I recharged her nutes,
I called 6.8 "good enough" on the pH....the high pH caused nutrient lockout...molybdenum especially....her leaves were already fading a little, and this accelerated the fade,so now the upper leaves look "mostly dead".

I think a little light burn might be going on also, although she's been ok with the light every since she stopped stretching-anyway, that and the deficiency worked together to make things get pretty ugly.....
The buds,however,are just fine...

I also spread her out a little so the lower buds can finally get some light

It's hard to see just how bad it looks in the big pics,so here's "a closer look"-ewwww!

There's a little foxtailing going on,which is fine,since they're pretty frosty:

She's going to be harvested in a few days- I quick dried a little bud yesterday, and even though there's almost no amber trichs, the smoke works just fine...:smokin2:

So I'll do a little update on harvest day, later on in the week...

And then there's little Ms Cheese- 14" tall now (up from 8" a week ago)
She's coming right along, and the bugs haven't been bothering her this week,so that's a good thing...she does have a little spider living on her, which may be helping with the bugs...
of course he wasn't around at picture time, but I've seen him 4 or 5 times during the last
week,so he's there somewhere...

So she'll be my journal subject till I get these going, which won't be long from now:

From @SeedsMan -I decided to go with a couple of purple(ish) autos

That's about all for today...,but I'll be back here in a week with the latest "goings on"

Thanks to you all for looking, and a special thanks to @Emilya for giving me a wake-up call on just how important proper pH is....even this late in the game!

See you on Monday,I appreciate the support from all of you !
Have a Great Week...:peace:

Fantastic figuring out what happened to your Northern Lights plant. Didn't take much to do that damage. It looks more than it is. I think it's a sure bet @Grandpa Tokin would hit it. I sure would! I see sweet juicy bud through a crispy wrapper waiting for your picking. The bit of stress this time of flowering may grow you some stress related trichomes too.

sweet juicy bud through a crispy wrapper
Thanks,Stone-
I tried her out last night (not a crispy one yet) and she works just fine..
She's not much to look at,but looking doesn't get you high...;)-and actually, those crispy leaves are going to make trimming easier,so that's the silver lining...

Oh heck yeah!
Thanks for stopping in, G T-I had an oozing bud on my Peyote Critical-made me wish I had something to squeeze it with...I thought of you,of course...:)

Hey Carcass. My Lemon Og Candy did the same thing in late flower. I was also within a foot of the light. I thought light burn but had zero tacoing leaves or any bleaching. I then thought it was the Mega Crop because I got a new bag right at that time. My pH was always good for hempy using a reliable pH tester. Now I'm not sure.
The buds are fine and taste great ,only the sugars were damaged.

That's good to know,VG -and on this plant, the sugar leaves actually have very little sugar-it all seems to be on the buds...so it looks worse than it is...

Buds are looking nice and plump without damage so that's good and atleast your only a few days ago and ms cheese is getting her grow on nicely now

Looks like chlorine toxicity to me
You could have something there-I ran out of rainwater about 3 or 4 waterings ago-I've been letting the tap water sit for about 5 days before using it on the plants, but around here they use chloramine,so letting it sit doesn't really do anything...although the PC got the same water ,and she didn't react badly....in fact it seemed the opposite with her...no big deal though-I'm just glad that whatever did it waited till almost the end...

I use tap throughout the grow. My plant didn't show any chlorine toxicity before then. There was no damage on mine until the last two weeks of the grow.

I use chloramine water all the time and my plants don't do that ever,
I think Emilya called it-I watered with 6.8pH water, checked with an innacurate pH tool, and immediately after that she started "bronzing up"-either way,Ive got a new, quality pH tool on the way,so I don't plan on it happening again....i hope
