Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

The seed was from my son in Washington State...we'll just call him "J"...
How is J doing? I haven't seen him around lately. Is his grows still going as strong as yours?? Pass :passitleft: him one when you see him next.

How is J doing?
I hope he’s doing well. He put out some fabulous autos amongst others. I’ll go out on a limb here because I think he must still be growing or Carcass would have an excess of Kim Chee jars and not have to go out and by pasta sauce. :laughtwo:

By the way I could use a few more jars @Carcass is this a good price?

Sounds like she is filling your soul with a lot of joy
Thanks, Baked!- Today is Nova's "official" day at Grandpas house, she'll be here at 11:00, and her 5 year old cousin will be here at 3:00, so no rest for Grandma and Grandpa today. We love it.
Those wires are my favorite for almost everything now.
Yeah, I use it for almost everything too- that and skewers- gotta have them skewers!
Yes please!!! My lazy ass needs to make gummies.
Here's the recipe- you're gonna have to bust out that MBM to make them though... :)

I use the refined coconut oil in the MBM- solid at room temp, and doesn't taste like coconut.

Gummy Recipe:
So now you've got the oil,and you want to make some gummies...here's how I do it...
You'll need:
1 pkg sugar free jello mix (0.6 oz size)
1pkg regular (with sugar) jello mix (3 oz size)
2 packets plain gelatin
1/4 cup light corn syrup
* 1/4 cup water <------ you can substitute your favorite liqueur for the water,or the corn syrup, for a little less "sweetness"
1/2 cup infused oil (I infuse 1oz. mj per cup of oil)

Put all the dry ingredients in a pan, add the water and corn syrup.

Heat it on medium heat, stirring constantly, till it just starts to boil around the edges.

All the powdered stuff should be well dissolved before adding the oil...<--- Important!!

Add the oil and keep stirring till it just starts to boil again, then remove from the heat.

At this point, you're gonna say "this shit aint working-the oil is just floating on top"

So... to remedy this, you keep stirring while the mixture cools just a little- as it cools it will thicken up a bit,
and the oil will start to mix in- this is what you want.
Once all the oil is mixed in, it's time to make some gummies...

Now, you need to hurry just a little so it doesn't set up before you get it into the molds.

Pour the mix into a squirt bottle (put a glove on,it's hot) , fill your gummy molds, and stick them in the freezer.

There will be some of the mixture stuck in the squirt bottle and in the pan- you can either just wash it out, or you can eat it for a nice buzz- just don't eat too much-it's easy to end up "too high" if you're not careful.

After they set up, pop them out of the molds into a tupperware container, or anything with a lid that seals.

You can store them at room temp, but they get a little oily above 78f ,so I keep them in the freezer.

and there ya go!

*Strawberry Banana jello does a real good job of (almost) hiding the cannabis taste.

.how do you prefer to dry and test?
We've got an old oven with a pilot light, so I stick them in there for about 3 hours to dry them- they taste quite a bit better if I just let them air dry, though..
I'd probably be wasted for a week after the first PB&J
Make up some gummies and you can be wasted for a month!
Well shit  that blackberry looks fine! Nice harvest!
:rofl:Ha! There's little Nova's quote again! - Thanks Stone!
Hopefully a wonder smoke from a beautiful plant.
If the scissor hash is any indication, it's going to be some great stuff!
Congratulations on the beautiful harvest!
Thank You, Krissi !
How is J doing? I haven't seen him around lately. Is his grows still going as strong as yours??

Thanks for asking! He's doing alright- still growing lots of great weed - He'll be here for Thanksgiving- he was supposed to be here to visit in September, but he was in the middle of a big house painting job, so he had to postpone his annual visit..
By the way I could use a few more jars @Carcass is this a good price?
That is a good price... but ,those jars won't accept mason jar lids, and you need to swap out the lids because the
original lids will smell like sauce forever, and you probably don't want sauce-smelling weed..
"Classico" sauce comes in the right kind of jar to accept the small mason jar lids...

so no rest for Grandma and Grandpa today. We love it.
Blessed beyond anything this greedy world could ever understand. I could only hope to experience that joy someday. I hope I can make it to that point in my life. Hopefully my kids change their mind about having kids.
gotta have them skewers!
Love skewers! I have one in almost every pot that has a plant (cannabis and house plants) for moisture levels. I also use them for support of course.

How about blueberry gummies?- I can do that...

Thank You,Shed! more on that one in a little while....

Really, I don't usually do it that way- total of three times, I think- The (alleged) benefit of the dark period before harvest, is that it brings out more terpenes, and possibly a few more trichomes...I really don't know if it does either of those things, but it doesn't hurt to try it- this time, it was raining anyway,
so I figured the closet would be a good place for her to spend her last 36 hours.

Little Nova! My 19 month old granddaughter...she doesn't take naps anymore, so when she's here, it's a full time job...she's at the "I'm going to steal your stuff and run away with it" stage, so she really keeps us on our toes...
She's also learning new words all the time- yesterday, she had stacked up about ten blocks- she bumped them, and they fell over...and she frowned, and said "well, shit!"
I swear, she didn't learn that from me....

Coming right up!

:hugs:

And now,It's time for the better late than never Tuesday Update!

I'll start off with the @Weed Seeds Express Blueberry auto-21 inches tall, 81 days old, flowering for 57.
The seed was from my son in Washington State...we'll just call him "J"...

She was fed 5g of mc, and .75g on BPN's "Easy Weed" every watering for the last 2 months, and seemed fairly happy with that- there's some yellow leaves, so it wasn't exactly what she wanted, but I think it was pretty close..

Her drinking has slowed way down, in fact she went from every other day, to every 4 days- she was also showing plenty of amber, so it was time...

She went into the dark on Sunday night at 10:00, and came out this morning at 10:00

Just before going into the dark closet:

Her home for 36 hours:

This morning at 10:15- one last pic in the sun...

A couple of final bud shots:

And into the patio room she goes, not quite her final destination, but real close...

And the final SaugaView® for this one...

There will be more about that one in the harvest update, coming up in a little while.

Now for the Blueberry Hill sprout, from @Herbies Seeds -

Sprouted just fine, but then started to stretch, and the usual 4" distance from the led bulbs had to be adjusted to 2" away before she stopped stretching- never had one do it like that before...but it is what it is...
Those led bulbs make the leaves look yellow, but they're actually the right shade of green
10.jpg

I gave her a little support since she's so spindly- they're usually about 1.75 inches tall at this age, this one is 3 inches...
I can bury most of that "extra" stem at transplant time, but I don't want her to fall over before she gets there...
9.jpg

She's really healthy, just a little too tall...but she'll be fine in the long run...

That's about it for the Tuesday Update...
Thank You for looking, I appreciate the support :peace:

Stay tuned for the Harvest pics, coming up in a few minutes :)
Good morning C Legend :)

My grandson has just learned what “I’ve got an idea” means. I’ll give you some examples.

Ollie: GG I got an idea, I got an idea… I be Spider-Man, you be Spider-Girl and we run, okay?
Ollie: GG I got an idea, I got an idea… I be Spider-Man, you be monster and we run, okay?
Ollie: GG I got an idea, I got an idea… I be Spider-Man, you be T Rex and we run, okay?

While it’s soooo cute, all the running is fucking killing me!

That plant is amazeballs! It is extraordinary. How did you make it that colour? Is it genetics?

Gorgeous harvest carcass. That pic of a cola in front of the brick wall is just beautiful, you should send it in to the breeder! I’d buy some after looking at that photo! Congrats on another great harvest!

So true.

I was thinking that myself. The beauty of this grow is an advertisers dream.

Congrats on the harvest, Carcass and on the beautiful photos. The colours in some of the pics looked kinda psychedelic. Did you take them with something different than normal?

I like the last flower shot in front of the brick wall. I would vote for it for Plant of the Month if you entered it. Just saying... :battingeyelashes:

Alright guys and gals I have a problem I haven't been able to diagnose. I have (1), one bud on my SSH auto that at first was only showing signs of white streaks on some of the edges. I thought it was nute burn so I lowered my ec from the 1010ppm I was hovering at at each feeding to about 900ppm even though all other bud sites and fan leaves only showed slight (very slight) signs of burn (tips on other sites only had a 1cm or less of yellowing. I use tap water that has a ppm of 345 so when adding nutes I take that into consideration. I need help... here's a pic of what I'm talking about.

I'm going with light burn from that pic!

I think (if it's light burn) that it started after I added the mars II 700 as side lighting, but I assumed that the girls could handle it since I also added additional co2 to the room so the girls would be able to handle the extra light, heat and humidity. Here's a shot from my baby cam, you won't see much due to the lighting but you can see the layout of the closet.

That black shape in the front is the mars II 700.

It's good to be careful any time you add light to a space. It's best done gradually in the way you would acclimate indoor plants to the sun when you move them out.

anytime, hmmm, wind damage.....could be, I have a 18" fan in the right corner of the room and even though I have it pointed up and towards the back wall there is still a good breeze flowing towards the front left side of the room where that bud was at.....hmmmmm
