CaptainLucky's First Indoor Golden Tiger Grow 2023

Weekend Update: Day 13 of 11/13 for my GT. day 8 for my Chocolate Thai and day 4 of my Panama. Both the Golden Tiger and Chocolate Thai continues to stretch greatly. I also have recently been seeing my Panama’s leaves are looking a different color. I’m not sure if this is from boosting its percentage of @Prescription Blend or not. I also removed very little from beneath the canopy. And all were fed till runoff with their individual blends of RX. They all continue to look amazing I’m very happy with all of them. And they still don’t show any signs of flowering but I don’t expect to see any signs for a while. So until next time happy growing and enjoy your weekend everyone. CL🍀

Hey Man of the Mountain please forgive me calling you from the Norte. I don’t know if that was me or spellcheck but sorry about that. CL🍀

A tablespoon of epsom salts per gallon and fed to runoff should do it. Or a tablespoon per 10 gallon pot of soil top dressed and watered in will also. That's only if the issue isn't resolved with the upped nutes.
Thanks SO but that sounds like an awful lot of mag no? CL🍀

Sunday Morning Update: Now I’m noticing the same mag deficiency with my Sour G. Which makes absolutely zero sense to me because it’s the only one getting straight RX. The Panama I can understand because out of all of them she gets the least @Prescription Blend. And I’m adding xtra cal-mag with the PB. But my Panama doesn’t like nutes but the Sour G loves them. Hopefully I can find a recipe for them both. Adios for now. CL🍀

Edit: I forgot to mention that my Golden Tiger 🐅 n Chocolate Thai are showing no signs of a deficiency.

Hope the extra cal-mag does the trick. You will figure it out I feel sure of that.

Just my own experience. Those plastic containers are difficult to deal with.
Like Shed mentioned looks like Mag, really let them dry out before next feeding/water.
Does your Fabric pot have the same issue?

Nope just the plastic ones. You don’t think I should up the cal-mag a smidge? Directions say don’t use more than.2 ml. Idk? CL🍀

@Prescription Blend Update: I don’t know if anyone else has ever used it on different plants 🪴 but my Mother’s Rose of Sharon bushes really love 💕 this stuff. I’m sure some of you won’t believe this but I swear they grew 6” taller since I’ve been dumping my runoff on them. And it looks healthier with bright green leaves 🍃. CL🍀

Definitely not 1 tablespoon per gallon!

I know that Rx Blend says it's very possible that you'll need to add calmag so that's the way to go. What calmag are you using?

TPS Cal-Mag 2 ml per gl. CL🍀

Glad Shedster woke up!..

Do you have a aquarium pump and 5 gallon bucket to mix your nutrients in? Pump is only 12 bucks at Walmart.
Sorry if I missed that in the journal if you're doing so, just hard making single gallons everytime. So, (1) 5 gallon buckets feeds only (2) 5 gallon plants with runoff.

My little receipe for 5 gallon bucket of water:

My tap water is 35ppms ( great tap water, but a lot of chlorine. ) That why I bubble for couple hours before feeding./watering.

Mature plants:
5gal bucket:
always/first I add Cal-majic (cal/mag gh version)
-20mls
- recommended dose of nutrients on PB chart
- usually it those down my PH to 5.3
- add ph up to 5.8
Ppms always around 1,000 on mature plants

Sorry for the rambling..lol..just had a J and coffee..lol

Yeah I got a little one but it works ok (battery powered) and I also always add cm first but it takes me less than 5 minutes to make a gl now n I mix another one for veg so I’m making 2 at a time.CL🍀

Mom doing good bro? :passitleft:
Thanks for asking and yeah she’s doing pretty good. Just have to get her walking again. She got the delta variant breakthrough when it came through and hasn’t been able to walk since. CL🍀
