CaptainLucky's First Indoor Golden Tiger Grow 2023

Mid-Day Update: I did extensive pruning/thinning of my Chocolate Thai. I hope it wasn’t too much. My Golden Tigers canopy is pretty even so I didn’t touch it. I’m not sure if I should do a thinning on it? CL🍀

I'd love to see a side view on the CT after all that thinning, and I think the GT only possibly need some lower thinning after stretch is over, whenever that might be!
Sometime in 2024 I predict. Lmao CL🍀

Hey @Stunger how long did yours take to start showing flowering signs? CL🍀
Well I kicked them off in late September and was able to gender ID them early to mid December, but they didn't really start to show budding until February I suppose.

You have woken the Golden Tiger !!!

:circle-of-love:

On spot Captain really good job on the ladies. Hands down that a great pheno right there; I betcha if you leave her in that tent she would fill it up completely.
You might think that I’m exaggerating but I swear she grew 3” last night. When I opened the tent this morning I was shocked 😮. She might be moving to the closet soon. CL🍀

Everyone was telling you she would.

@captain Lucky, And so the stretch has begun! GT does like to stretch.

I'd still be very tempted to remove a lot of lower growth to encourage the tips too bush out more.

As regards feeding now. This is what Dubi (the owner of ace seeds) said this very morning to someone else.

"Golden Tiger is a low demanding strain for the grower, meaning it can thrive easily and vigorously without much ferts or attentions during growth stage, she just likes strong light intensity, a well prepared organic soil mix and warm-hot temps. She doesn't like sudden strong ec inputs-increases when they are not necessary.

Less is more with this genetics, although advanced sativa growers will know how to gentle increase the feeding from end of stretching till peak of flowering production to get best yields and best quality finished flowers, grown without excesses, neither with severe lack of nutrients during last third of flowering."
