CaptainLucky's First Indoor Golden Tiger Grow 2023

Sorry Captain, I thought I signed up for a fungology class but it ended up being all about how to hit fungo!

Other than PM (which is fine even with 40% RH), most fungus likes higher RH, so having control over the humidity (along with airflow) is the #1 issue to deal with going forward.

Stagnant air is more detrimental than higher RH%. 40% is way to low to dry Cannabis in my book. Low temps and god aeration is the way to go, mold has a very hard time growing in lower temps.

That was the low at which PM will still take hold, but I was talking about the RH during growing rather than drying. I prefer to dry around 60% with fans on.
I start at 75% and drying is done when it gradually has gone down to 60%. Preferably 10-14 days at 15C / 59F. Exhaust fan on a humidity controller and fan in the bottom of the tent.

I’m talking about during growing, I had the inkbird set for 50%. CL🍀

:welcome:Journal Update: So the total 🟰 amount from my Panama n Chocolate Thai was 12 jars of CT + 7 jars of Panama. My Golden Tigers are still flowering and super sticky. I’m feeding twice daily but need to remember to do it 3 times. I’m still not seeing any improvement but it’s still way too early. I was wondering if lowering the intensity of a light would trigger a faster flowering response or be detrimental for bud development? Anyone ever tried this before? Any tips, tricks or suggestions? I’m also noticing a few fungus gnats and I dispise pests so it’s time for some yellow sticky traps 🪤 n skeeter 🦟 dunks. The little bastards have no business being in my tent and closet. I’m going to make my diy with Vaseline n yellow paper 📝 until the dunks arrive. Tomorrow I’m gonna have to open up all the sides of my tent and re-tie my Tiger it’s like an obstacle course trying to do anything in there. I also hope to be starting a new journal and Cubensis grow in the near future. I want to start growing Purple Mystic scrooms once I find out what all is needed. I think 🤔 that’s it for now so happy growing n stay tuned. Hope everyone is having a fantastic week and healthy gardens. Please try and support the Sponsors, without them @420 Magazine couldn’t continue everything they do for the cannabis community including this site. In nature, at our latitude with four definite seasons, the suns angle and intensity lessons as fall approaches. :hmmmm: So, it shouldn't hurt. Just an observation, no real scientific knowledge. I'll lower light power and sometimes reduce the light hours as well approaching harvest. :):bong:

So you didn't weight them ?

I figure a jar full loosely packed is about an ounce ?

Congrats on the harvest :thumb:

Cheers
I don't do much weighing either. I've weighed jars contents and loosely packed my average is about 1.25ounces. Quart jars.

I'm a bit anal about weighing my harvest.

It's how I judge whether the changes I've made are better or not ;)

At bit subjective with always growing different strains but.....

I slow dry/cure down to 58%, at which point the buds are still pliable and will not suffer from being Stuffed into containers.

Vacuum packed, 2 oz/1L mason jar...

Cheers

16 weeks in flower !!!!!!
Holy Flower Batman thats amazing
It’s not ez keeping these long flowering girls happy n healthy for extended lengths of time. But it’s very satisfying when you open the tent everyday. CL🍀.
