CaptainLucky's First Indoor Golden Tiger Grow 2023

:welcome:Journal Update: So both Tigers are being fed twice daily till runoff but it’s way too early to determine whether or not they will improve any. I have to say that I’m really impressed with the @ViparSpectra XS-1500 Pro. Val was kind enough to sponsor my @DYNOMYCO Solo Challenge grow and I’m using it with a @Mars Hydro . It really takes a powerful light to grow a Golden Tiger and with the added power of the @ViparSpectra XS-1500 Pro it’s been doing great. So thanks again Val for a wonderful light. I have noticed that the very lowest branches pistils seem to be finally changing. Hopefully it won’t take too much longer for them to finally finish flowering. It sure has been a long ride with a few bumps along the way but there’s light @ the end of the tunnel and it’s not a train 🚂. I think 🤔 that’s about it for now so happy growing n stay healthy. I hope everyone is having a great start to your week and healthy grows. Please remember the Sponsors make all this possible for @420 Magazine so try to use them as much as possible. Also don’t forget to vote for your favorite choices in this month’s competitions. Here’s some pictures from today. CL🍀. :morenutes: :cheesygrinsmiley:

As one of our previous receptionists used to say, "curious question":

Did the issues with the closet GT start shortly after you harvested its neighbor and it started getting a lot more light? If not, please ignore this post. 👻
Actually before it was getting all the light from the @ViparSpectra XS-1500 Pro. Now that I’m combining them it could be from a lack of the more intense light 💡. Idk CL🍀

:welcome:Journal Update: I made an interesting observation today 🤔. Our friend @Wastei had recently recommended that I try feeding more often so I started twice daily. First @ 6:00 when lights come on and then @ 4:00 a hour before lights out. I forgot this morning until 11:00 and then I fed again at 4:00. But I discovered in that time my Tigers drank everything. Tomorrow I’m gonna up it to 3 times daily and see if I notice any significant improvements. Other than that there’s nothing new to report. There still sticky as glue and maybe 🤔 some of the fragrance has diminished but it’s hard to tell without leaving for several hours. All of the upper pistils are still white but I think 🤔 tomorrow I will scope and see what I can see. That’s all for today so happy growing n stay positive. Hope everyone is having a good week and healthy gardens. Don’t forget to support the Sponsors and vote for your favorite choices in the contests. Here’s some pictures from today. CL🍀. :morenutes: :cheesygrinsmiley:

I've grown it 3 times outside and each time it reflowered several times, but eventually stopped.
If you wait until some of the trichs have started to turn orange then the smoke will be devastating.
I currently have 7 different outdoor grown Sativas in my collection to smoke and i love them all, but when I want that bit extra, it's the GT I go for every time. (Harvested with mainly cloudy trichs and just a few orange and matured for 8months). 🙂

Thanks for the info @Hombre del Monte I know you have a lot growing expertise with Golden Tigers. CL🍀. :thanks:

I’ve been in trim jail since 🕖 and got 6 more jars 🫙 of Chocolate Thai but I still haven’t finished n I ran out of hygrometers. Smh I’m gonna have to finish without them and figure something later. More $$$ more work, why do we do this? I found fungus in only one nug but I’m going blind now from inspecting everything. Back to the grind. But here’s an update. CL🍀

Your welcome.
😂 I wouldn't say of a lot of experience but I'm getting better with it and pure Sats in general.
I'm thinking of doing it again next year, but then again, I've well over 20 different Sats to try still. What a dilemma.🤔

Sorry Captain, I thought I signed up for a fungology class but it ended up being all about how to hit fungo!

Other than PM (which is fine even with 40% RH), most fungus likes higher RH, so having control over the humidity (along with airflow) is the #1 issue to deal with going forward.

It never got over 50 and I had good airflow but it was too crowded. CL🍀
