He cut the discussion by telling me politics. Basically he just told me to fuck off… it’s ok bro, I don’t need the science when I grow and experience myself the actual truth.
I like Shed because he grows, what I don’t like is imposing his style over others. I won’t be political to say; bro come a check my shit out!!! What are you afraid of? Going full organic?
Come on we are adults here, we can deliver a debate with out punching each other on the throat. At the end of the day we are all in the same team, 420mag team.
You're so confused I'm not sure where to begin. I was having a conversation with the Captain and GG about what using plain water for the last weeks of a synthetic nute grow can or can't do for your harvest, and your contribution was to compare it to organic vs synthetic grows. All I said was "I don't want to get into an organic vs synthetic debate" which somehow got your back up. No politics, no insults. I'll let the rest of the folks here decide who's been reasonable and who's been insulting. I've got no beef with you and certainly not with organic growers. Some of my favorite folks here grow in LOS.
I'm not punching anyone and I don't impose my style on anyone. Feel free to find quotes where I do that. I try to meet people where they are in their growing journey and help out where I can. And if I'm in a journal where someone says you have to feed plain water at the end to remove nute taste after harvest, I post links to the science and let the grower decide how to proceed.
If you have a problem with using citric acid for PM then you should state what your issue is with it, even though it's worked for a lot of folks here and isn't even something I invented:
- pH adjusters such as baking soda or citric acid act by changing conditions to acidic or alkaline which inhibit the pathogen by changing its growing environment.
- These have to come into direct contact with the powdery mildew to be effective and quickly become inactive.
- Safe and inexpensive.

It's the active ingredient in Nuke em, which I discovered after reading that many folks were finding it effective for PM. That's what I tried to duplicate after having non-stop issues with PM a few years back. You think I make this stuff up?
I didn't go to your thread to discuss organic vs synthetic because I have no interest in trying to defend synthetic nutes, that's just how some folks grow, by necessity or choice. I really have no idea what riled you up and drove you to misrepresent my approach and advice on this site but I don't take kindly to it.
You went from this:
You are welcome any time we can talk it in my thread or yours Organic Vs Synthetic. Don't see that as an issue its just different ways to get to the same result; buds.
There is no debate Shed organics is organics, synthetic is synthetic. Happens to be that synthetic grows are abundant, so you guys have always called the shots. Things are different now and I wanted to just make the case of TASTE in buds, not actually start a debate.
The flushing method is a result an creation of indoor/prohibition era grow methods... today living soil is what is making a fuzz, less is best. Quality over Quantity. Sustainably sourced nutrients.
I don’t wish to engage in my organics activism because I don’t know if this is a sponsored grow, and I don’t want my post to be deleted... My turf is neutral grounds we can talk all you want about anything.
to this:
Shed it’s ok to have others think and act differently, more styles of grow, more results.
without me even saying a word!
And for the record, starve a plant all you want but the nutrient content of the flowers remains unchanged. They are nutrient sinks not sources. If you smoke your fans, different story.
