Thank you Captain for not blowing me away from a healthy discussion amongst growers.
Shed it’s ok to have others think and act differently, more styles of grow, more results.
I respect and tolerate most of the grows I see here, despite most of them being nute fed grows. That’s not my ideal situation. Do I smoke nute fed cannabis; yes I do. All that dispensary crap has heavy fertilizer taste.
I also have my snob friends say when they smoke my organics, nothing compares to the taste and throat relive, they never cough and they get high as F@ck.
Do I see traces of white ash off my joint? I see predominantly black ash with considerably less white ash. The Purple Kush I am smoking now, looks like cigarette ash… my throat hurts at the end of the day… tastes like bottled fertilizer.
If one doesn’t want to “flush”… which I give you that; one can’t flush a plant, one can only flush a grow medium. Them organics is the way to grow for taste.
An organic bud anywhere has almost doble the price than a bottle fed bud, is that just a marketing scheme ? Or is there really something to true organics?
Let’s get side tracked for a little;
Wines, I hope you are a Wine guy Shed. California has some high standard and amazing wines, you guys have Terroir!, and now the industry is moving torwards organics (those who can and have an endless bank account).
Deep down the science has determined that Yes you can’t flush nutes out of anything. Wines taste better with organic principles, it ages better, and has less sediment deposits. But the price tag is crazy, a good organic wine dobles in price compared to a standard wine.
There are huge amounts of true organic fertilizers but they ain’t cheap. Nothing is cheap when it’s labeled organic, now that is just the market. It’s easy to fall victim of speculative pricing when it says Organic on the box.
You seem to be a standard in which people measure their grow results; if you wanted you could do a true organics grow next to your usual feeding schedule. And smoke report; that’s a journal I would follow. And if you don’t want, fine too.
I am waiting to receive my fertilizer gift from last month contest. As soon as I get it I will do a side by side organics vs Fertilizer.
The only reason I chose organic above all, its a healthier choice but it comes with a price tag.
This is not to be taken personal; if anyone grows with bottled nutes, it’s legit. I don’t discourage anyones style and techniques, but I also don’t think my way is the only way.
