I need sun but that's not to say a month from now I will be wanting rain.I doubt we'll see any rain here now for the next few months, and then if we're lucky! We might get the odd thunder storm around the end of September but nothing really until December.
Enjoy your rain!
I haven't read it, but question it myself. I think once you burn 'em there's no do over. It might help remove some of the excess or it might not if their just really healthy. I think I've gotten an off taste in a grow from some of the nutes, too much CalMag+ too late in flower maybe? That's the taste combined with the high caryophyllene terpene content of the strain, Black Domina.First off thanks for following n I hope you enjoyed it. I have a question about putting your A.G. on straight water, I know that a lot of growers do it but have you read @InTheShed’s thread on it? I thought it was standard practice myself until I read it. Happy growing GW. CL.
I found it to be very informative and recommend you give it a look . Who knows you might be surprised, I know that I was. CL.I haven't read it, but question it myself. It never made the plants look any worse to me, just subjective.
I agree bro on cal/mag too late in flower..I'll stop around 40 days in flower (hybrids )and lower my nitrogen as well and overall ppmsI haven't read it, but question it myself. Have you read what @InTheShed[/‘s USER] thread on flushing nutrients? CL🍀I agree bro on cal/mag too late in flower..I'll stop around 40 days in flower (hybrids )and lower my nitrogen as well and overall ppms
really helps with the flavor running salts..
Yes, multiple times CL. It comes down to preference.Have you read what @InTheShed[/‘s USER] thread on flushing nutrients? CL🍀
It gives scientific proof that flushing will not remove nutrients from your plant and has no effects whatsoever on the taste, that it comes from curing. But whatever you want to believe is cool with me bro. lol CLYes, multiple times CL. It comes down to preference.
I will be honest with you, running salts hard up to the end of cycle isn't weed I want to smoke tbh.
I'm not suggesting flushing, but I water only with runoff 20% and doing that my ppms are still 300.. I'm not pushing out couple more zips to alter my smoke, period..
Ask OJD and Remo and they'll tell you the same way and they have been in the business a long time.
Not trying to start this old shit topic, you just have to experience yourself.
With your PB nutes, don't really have to worry about it..but salts, absolutely..I would quit smoking for sure my friend..
When you are on the streets competing, instead of a lab bro..go for it..It gives scientific proof that flushing will not remove nutrients from your plant and has no effects whatsoever on the taste, that it comes from curing. But whatever you want to believe is cool with me bro. lol CL
I don’t know what you’re using and what you’re using it in but if you think it’s necessary then by all means do it. There’s nothing wrong with doing whatever works best for you. Happy growing amigo n adios. CL.When you are on the streets competing, instead of a lab bro..go for it..
I'm just telling you and my opinion of what the homies are saying..
Again, organic doesn't need a flush but my salts..I would quit growing tbh with tyou CL..I don't have a master in botany but I know my smoke..
Ok, let's go easy..I'm going to bed and shed hairs are standing up..but you can't convince this old mf..lmao..
Peace love you guys
I'm all for folks doing whatever they want with their grows so my hair's laying perfectly flat! It's when folks start giving other folks advice that flushing removes nute taste from buds that I like to let people know it's a myth. When you are on the streets competing, instead of a lab bro..go for it..

I agree Shed..I'm just playing around . Flushing, not the answer my friend. Usually, it means folks have a problem.I'm all for folks doing whatever they want with their grows so my hair's laying perfectly flat! Well-dried and cured buds are the ones that taste good regardless of how they're grown, and I've had hoity toity weed snobs say mine is the smoothest they've ever smoked. Fed synthetic nutes right up until harvest they are, every single one.
But that's no reason for you to change what you're doing if it's working for you!

Only thing I'm suggesting is to get
Chlorophyll out of the plant and not blasting the plants with nutrients until the end of the cycle and water only last 2 weeks..I've pushed the plant to the end towards the end with salt and it just doesn't have the same smoke..NO white ashe, respectfully disagree with the drying/curing phase..that's a huge part but if your produce isn't right to being with, only so much you can do.
Done both many times bro like yourself,

I really don't want to soak up Captain's thread with this and I don't want to get into an organic vs synthetic debate. All I'm saying is going water only at the end of a synthetic nute grow is not going change the taste of the flowers after harvest. They've done blind taste tests in addition to lab tests that prove it. The video on that research is here.Lets try this approach, from a global perspective of fruits and vegetables (plants in general).
have you ever tried the difference between a Hydroponic tomato, a organic soil grown tomato, and a synthetic fertiliser growing in soil tomato? not only taste but shelf-life, and color.
The organoleptic properties are totally different in each of the cases; I'm not saying they don’t t all taste great. But, there is always a but; the flavonoid, terpene profiles, acidity, water %, as well as the biochemistry in all those tomatos are just not the same.
When the greens/fruits are grown for taste; a organic grow medium has the upper hand, as we can see in the supermarkets when we buy fruits and vegetables the organic stuff taste different, it has a taste actually, its not just water and nutrients. There is the natural balance of minerals and nutrients being absorbed by the plants, not altering the organoleptic properties of the final product. I don’t see a need to flush a organic medium. One can only flush the medium, not the plant. I will give you that.
I extrapolate that thought to my cannabis; the final product will be a result of the method use to grow and feeding regime.
When the crops are grown for volume, organics has no chance.

Nope nothing sponsored here yet but you’re free to discuss the issue here as well if flushing will remove nutrients brother. CL.You are welcome any time we can talk it in my thread or yours Organic Vs Synthetic. Don't see that as an issue its just different ways to get to the same result; buds.
There is no debate Shed organics is organics, synthetic is synthetic. Happens to be that synthetic grows are abundant, so you guys have always called the shots. Things are different now and I wanted to just make the case of TASTE in buds, not actually start a debate.
The flushing method is a result an creation of indoor/prohibition era grow methods... today living soil is what is making a fuzz, less is best. Quality over Quantity. Sustainably sourced nutrients.
I don’t wish to engage in my organics activism because I don’t know if this is a sponsored grow, and I don’t want my post to be deleted... My turf is neutral grounds we can talk all you want about anything.
