My thought for the day after reading some very harsh words to other growers on a different grow site:

I could read books upon books, and scour the internet for opinions and information.....but NOTHING replaces hands on growing and learning!
Everyone's grow is different, what one might experience with a particular soil/nutrient/hydro/lighting combination will NOT be the same as someone with totally different methods and combinations. It is individual on results, although the end result is what we all look for....the processes vary too widely to allow a "this is the absolute way to do it" method.
One cannot say a person is doing it wrong just because what another grower is doing works. Making mistakes along the way makes us better growers and adds experience. Everyone, in my opinion, is still in learning processes.
What I love about this site is that people share their mistakes as well as their successes, and put forth a positive environment for all.

A High Pressure Sodium light bulb should not flicker, I would double check all your connections. If the flickering persists I would change in another light bulb to see if it is the light bulb or the ballast.

Thank you for catching that question on my video KJC! I looked it over this morning and there was no flickering. But I will be watching it closely. I have another bulb, so if it starts again I will replace it for sure!:thanks:

These are mesh lingerie bags that we ladies use to wash our delicate items in. They come in lots of different sizes and have zippers.

Actually Cannafan, I do believe you could hang your bud in your DIY laundry basket dryer....seems to be plenty of room in there and I'm positive you can come up with something to act as an inside hanger :high-five:

I've only visited one other Grow Site since becoming a 420 member. The rudeness & the "I'm greater than Thou" attitudes I saw were enough for me to know I've already found the place to be.

Hey Reg, question for you while I'm on here. This might seem an odd question, but do you know what Millimeter size your led bulbs are on your new LED panel?

Hey my favorite kind of Rain! Thanks a bunch. I am a looooooong way from pro. Years... If I ever get to the point where I actually have a winning answer in time on Reps are Right night....well then I'll feel like I can at least say I know something without thinking too long on it. :rofl:
I do love that HPS addition. The light coverage is much better than the CFL's. And I really think the buds are reacting well to it. Hopefully it helps with the end result. :-) If I don't make/buy the LED panels, I'm shooting for two more HPS units.
I'm on the LED hunt tonight whatever form it takes. "Warning Will Robinson!....Warning!...Warning!" LOL
