Hey, Thanks Donpaulp!
On another subject here,
I've still been trying to find a use for this cheapy wardrobe unit. I have an :idea:
I think I'll use it to dry my harvest. This thing is 2'x5'x6' or a bit larger with a bottom. I figure on putting some ropes in it to hang my buds.
Only question is, do you think I need a small clip on fan inside of it? There will be some air getting in, but I'm thinking I would need more circulation

I checked on the plants this morning, all doing well. I noticed this one looks a little wrinkly on the leaves unlike the others. Is this normal or does anyone see a problem with them?

Hi Canna,

I think the wardrobe will work great for drying and I do agree that a small fan would be of great benefit with air ciruculation, but shouldn't typically be blowing directly on the buds. Just moving air around inside the wardrobe or possibly even blowing fresh air in should really help.

I agree with 100% Cascadian...
FFOF is WAY too hot for ANY seedlings in my opinion.............My grow was 1/3 perlite and 2/3 FFOF......still way too hot for a seedling!

Thanks TanR! I have a small 4" computer fan I'll rig up in one of the sides toward the bottom, that should give it enough circulation without blowing right on the buds. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Hi DD,
if FFOF means Fox Farms...I don't use that. I am using a soiless mixture made locally that didn't appear to be a hot "Nute" mix. I'll keep a watch on the plants every day after checking my water PH tonight. I think I have a tester for soil PH, I have to check on that later too.:thanks:

Okay,
Soil PH= 7.0 (I'm going to get a digital soil tester this week, the one I have is an older model and I don't trust it, but that is what it read today)
Water PH= 6.2

Thanks guys, I will be posting some progress pics on Saturday or Sunday.
I'll be getting the transfer pots ready this weekend with drain holes and some holes for LST'ing. I can't wait to try that!

Day 13
I watered today, they were dry. The first pic is of the 8 normal looking plants.

This pic is of the one I'm a little worried about. It still looks a bit sick to me. The center line of the leaves has a dark almost purplish cast to it in addition to the wrinkled look. could this be a nutrient deficiency?

I still have them under 18/6 lighting schedule.
I have also noticed the perlite pieces in some of the cups are tainted green on the edges almost like algae. My water PH tested out okay the other day. Is that normal?

The late seed sprout did not make it. The root actually fell away from the seed pod and was dying. There were a couple of very tiny, almost too small to be seen, white worms around the root so I tossed the whole thing.

Looking Good Canna, the wrinkled seedling not to sure about but the others look great, could just be a bad/weak plant, let it grow but my guess is it will be slower to grow than the others.

Looking good Canna, I would not worry about the strange looking plant. It may just be from some stress the leaves had pushing their way out. It may also be a mutation. I have a plant that I LST'd, FIM'd, and treated with insecticidal soap. It also has very funky looking leaves coming out but is about the same size as the other plants which I have not pruned. The newest leaves are looking normal finally. You are of course most welcome to stop by my journal and take a peek. I also recently put up a pic of some very strange growth. Two mutant webbed foot leaves on one petiole. May be entertaining just to breeze through the pictures. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Thanks everybody. I tried to respond using the "multi quote" button, but I guess I'm not doing that right. I see others answering multiple posts in one, can't quite figure that out.

I won't worry on the algae issue unless I see it getting out of control. I'm still using rainwater, will be switching to distilled water soon as I am running out.

Rainstacks: On the wrinkled one...thanks! I guess I can feel lucky that I have my very own Toddler Mutant Ninja Cannabis!:biglaugh:
I cruise through your journal often, I'll take another cruise today. :-)
