Candy Canna Multi-Strain In Candyland

Welcome back, Candy and congratulations on renewing your vows!

My condolences on your seed losses. I've been having a tough time with seeds lately, too so I feel your pain.

I've figured out most of what you're growing by their initials but if you could please just let me know what WW and KKF stand for, that would be great!

Hi CC! So good to see you again! :ciao:
Congratulations on the re-nuptials, how cute are you guys?! Congrats on the wee ones too. Glad to see you still at it in the garden. :)
Great to see you too and :thanks:! I am soooo far behind on catching up but looking forward to catching and keeping up with everyone!:)
You're back!
I'm really happy to see you growing again, and congrats on renewing your vows...it must be love!
:thanks: I’m happy to be back at it :) and on the renewal front we’ve had our issues over the years (divorced at one point years ago) but the true deep love has always been there (we were just young and stubborn)!
Welcome back we’ve all missed you and your grows . Congratulations also on you vows .
:thanks: it’s great to be back and I am excited to get caught back up with everybody!

Uggg sucks don’t it! Sorry for your losses as well!

Lol I just realized I didn’t say what they were!
I’m growing White Widow, Girl Scout Cookies, Pre- 98 Bubba Kush, Critical Kush, Killer Kush Fast and Sour D!

While I am here I took a few pics today! Sour D came up on 10/30! The one that doesn’t have a label is the CK #1 that was once a deformed nothing that I thought wouldn’t make it but she has been rocking along now that she got out of whatever she had going on! The 4 bigger gals had some yellowing going on with their lowers  (had that happen before) so I did what was done before that worked and put straight RO water thru them to runoff then followed up with a bump up to 2.3gr/g MC and so far their new growth looks good! I’ll be keeping a close eye on them and fingers crossed that works this time. The bigger gals will be topped and transplanted sometime within a week.

Hiya Candy!
Wow, what a summer you had. I thought my life was busy, but apparently it's not.

Good luck with the upcoming surgery. That's a long time out of commission , so I hope you are doing much better come Christmas. You could pretend, and have the hubby take care of you too. ;)

I'll try and swing by tonite to take a look at your pics. Looks like a full house again! Nicely done.

Wow, what a summer you had.
:ciao: So great to see you! Yeah it was pretty crazy! Finally winding down! I cut down all my pepper plants today..was kinda sad about it cuz they were still pumping out like crazy and popping out flowers all over the place but I have no more room for them in my freezer and all my hubby’s friends have been loaded down as well so in all reality it was time. I harvested probably around 4-5 pounds just today as I was chopping them down. Still have a few things to get done before Wednesday so it’s gonna be a lil busy the next few days.
Good luck with the upcoming surgery.
:thanks::hug:
so I hope you are doing much better come Christmas.
:thanks:! Me too cuz I must be able to at least decorate the inside of the house or it just wouldn’t be right! I’ll have to talk my daughter into coming down and helping me out. I’ve got to do both arms so once my right one heals enough to function properly the left is next!
You could pretend, and have the hubby take care of you too. ;)

Yes indeed and :thanks:!

KKF, BK, WW day 23 GSC & CK#1 day 20 CK#2 day 14 and SD day 7
I topped KKF,BK, WW & GSC on the 4th and fed them 2.8gr/g with 1.5mls/g Silica , they seemed ok, and today they were hungry again so I fed them 3gr/g MC with 1.5mls/.g Silica..I’m going to be looking back again thru my last grow cuz I had this same problem before and eventually they got better after bumping up their feeds but this time their lowers got worse  PH is good and all the others look good..:lot-o-toke: I plan on transplanting them Monday..maybe I need to flush em and go back with the feed..I think that’s what I did last time as well..gonna look back and see..
Don’t mind the drooping! I just snapped these and it’s right before their bedtime.

Good morning, Candy. I have some questions about the silica you are using, What kind is it? Do you add it to the water each time or apply as a foliar? Why are you using silica?

I've been adding silica to my feed water since April but it hasn't helped as much as I had hoped it would.

Best of luck to you on your surgery.

Goodmorning HG! I use Cyco Silica and I add it to my feed water. I’m using silica for all kinds of benefits. I’ll copy and paste something from RQS website.

How To Use Silica To Grow Healthier Cannabis Plants

Silica and cannabis have a weird relationship. Weed plants don't require silica to survive, but if you grant them access to the chemical, it'll improve almost everything about their physiology. It works to protect them against pests, diseases, and environmental pollutants, while fortifying cell walls against stress and boosting photosynthesis.

Sorry to hear that :( some of the benefits are ones that we can’t fully see tho.
Best of luck to you on your surgery.
:thanks: I hope all is well over your way! :green_heart:

Hi Candy,
looking at some of the pots, they are pretty dried out. The soil has been coming in from the walls of the pot which is a good sign of underwatering.
I'd up pot the bigger ones when you can and reduce the amount of time between feedings. The dry cycle doesn't have to be so dramatic, if you will.

I think you are on target at 3g/gal, but I don't think they are being fed often enough.

:thanks: I was doing just that! In the middle of potting them up now. I took some pics and they don’t seem to be any worse from yesterday. I was thinking I was on track with the 3gr/g but freaked out after they got worse within hours :nervous-guy: I was going to ask you what you thought and get your opinion cuz you are the man! I’ll post some pics that I just took

What soil/medium are you growing in, Candy?

I ask because, back in July, @InTheShed tried out some Kelloggs Patio Plus potting mix, and he had nothing but problems with it- not only leaf problems, but growth issues too. He finally had to chuck it, and replant everything in some good soil- HP Promix, I think..

I'm just wondering if it could be your medium, since all the plants seem to have the same problem...

I'd think if nutes were the problem, there would be at least a few plants that would be happy with your current feeding regimen...

just my 2 cents...

:thanks: for the info as I’ll make sure to avoid that one ! I’m using Fox Farm Ocean Forest. I’ve got 3 happy ones so far it’s just the bigger 4 that are causing me grief :lot-o-toke: I’ve used it in the past and it did me right. I just finished getting them all transplanted to their bigger 5 gallon home and hoping for the best!:nervous-guy:

That's great- pretty much eliminates the soil as causing any problems...I'm using FFOF too, for the first time, and so far, so good.

Ya, like really they are not that big yet, so I doubt it's root bound. The reason for the up pot was to give them some fresh soil in case there was something funky going on down there. I'm not sure what it is yet tbh. How cold is it at lights off in the tent.
:thanks: again Mr.Man  I truly appreciate you
Thanks Candy. I hope the surgery went well.

Since up potting they have been doing great! Their roots looked good nice and white but they were a little bound up on the bottoms so I gently broke them up a lil before planting.
How cold is it at lights off in the tent.
Coldest 69*F average is 70*F highs average 80*F
I hope the surgery went well.
:thanks: It went well! Arm gets to thumping after about 20 mins of not elevating it but still allows me to get some one armed things done!
Are you using RO water? Do you still use the dehuey water too?
Still using RO water but not dehuey water

I snapped some pics from this morning after starting the training and the new growth looks good so far..I feel like you were right and they were hungry as the CK is yellowing pretty good now too and I wasn’t giving her the silica just MC so next feed going to add the silica and bump the MC from 2.5gr/g to 3gr/g. Silica is usually bumped from 1.5ml/g to 3mls/g at around 30days in right?

Could you please tell me how you know to bump the silica? The silica I'm using says to add 0.3 ml per litre. It doesn't say anything about upping it at any point.

Also, what kind of silica are you using?

:thanks:
Could you please tell me how you know to bump the silica?
I go with Saugas method he is my silica guru
He calculated it and I believe it is about a month in they max out at the 3mls/g. That’s what was calculated for the Cyco silica that’s a 0-0-4.
Also, what kind of silica are you using?
I’m using Cyco silica
