Candy Canna Multi-Strain In Candyland

So sorry to hear of your losses, CC. Glad you have some projects to keep yourself busy.
Thank you and those projects have been helping immensely :Namaste:
Lovely gardening :green_heart:
Great colours. I like the look of your pre98 Bubba Kush. Big and healthy! I am super into the Bubba’s Sis atm and it reminds me of you :high-five:
Thank you and the bubba kush reminds me of you! :high-five:
Your white widow is looking pretty delish too. I’m growing my first. I’m fascinated that you, Saugs and folks keep going back to it.
I’m excited for you! White widow is definitely my top 5 favorite strain and I’ve been out of her for too long!
Sorry to hear about your the deaths in your family, Candy- So many casualties this last year, it's just surreal...
Thank you and yes there’s just been too many..
Plants are sure looking good- the WW2 is a little "iffy", but she'll fall in to line soon!
Thank you and I sure hope so on the WW2 looking at her today and she looks pretty wimpy..I dunno what her deal is but I’ll keep trying to get her right
Sending you lots of loves CC  :hugs::love:
It’s nice to see you visit again. :)
Thank you :hugs::love:and it’s been great to start catching up still so many visits to make!:):Namaste:
Hello C , I have been away for a bit and I was sorry to hear about your loss.
Hey Fred! I was away for a few weeks myself and thank you!
I think your gardens are awesome!
:thanks:
I'm a big fan of Afghani and White Widow
Me too!
I've got a Bubba Kush in the tent now. The sugar leaves around the buds are bluish.
Sweet I’ll have to check her out!
Does your pre 98 show any color yet?
Good question :hmmmm: I wanna say yes but I’ll have to give her a looky loo when the lights are on to make sure I’m remembering correctly!:nerd-with-glasses:
Smile and stay stoneder.
Thank you and ditto! :high-five:

Been a lot going on had two deaths in the family. One was my husband’s nephew in law..he and our niece contracted COVID and had secondary health conditions, she made it out of the hospital and he did not. Then at the same time my uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that had metastasized to other organs and died within around few weeks.
Oof. Sorry to hear of the terrible news Candy. My sincere condolences to everyone.

Hi, Candy, just checking in...you doin' alright?

Hey candy - was missing you about the place and now see there are way too many sadnesses in your life for a person right now. Just can’t imagine. Sending as many good vibes as I can muster across the seas to you and your clan. Hoping your own health is holding up ok, as best as it can. Big love and plenty meds
:green_heart: :Namaste:

Sure do miss seeing you around. I hope you've been well. :hugs:

I have missed you all dearly!! I’ve had a ton going on but have been wondering what everyone is up to and how everyone is doing very very often!! I think I’m finally at a point to where I can get back on here and keep caught up  I’ll be making a post in a minute to show what some of the things are that have kept me busier than I’ve been in a hot minute! I had to keep busy and throw myself into some kind of work ..while it wiped me out daily beyond belief (which made it take what felt like forever) it was very therapeutic and paid off!
:green_heart::Namaste:

:ciao: Hey everybody! I’m sorry I disappeared for awhile! Had a lot going on but think I’m getting to a point where I can keep more caught up!
These pics are from what I harvested back at the end of May and early April
Let’s just say I had my largest harvest yet on each plant! Looking at it I wasn’t sure but after weighing it I was very excited ..especially since I was taking the summer off from growing.

These pics are from what I did outside..I was planning on just doing one simple tomato plant on the back patio and the crazy in me as my hubby calls it took over and I took what was once just grass and dug out a 16wx12d foot area 2” deep for a small garden with pebble rocks. I built a privacy wall , then built a standing planter (once had doors and bird cage but storm blew it over because my forgetful self forgot to take off the side fabric shade and it was attached to something else so yeah down it went with the 60 mile an hour wind and broke off half of the plant of the 2 jalapeño plants on the right):thedoubletake:, got a double sided turnable composter then decided to build a mini greenhouse for it (thinking of winter) , didn’t have the greenhouse quite fortified yet and had a storm come thru and the the plastic off the top off but also took half of my big beautiful banana pepper plant that I apparently didn’t have staked well enough:thedoubletake: , broke a tomato plant in two places but I took the trick from the pot plants and fixed them :cheesygrinsmiley: I put up the fabric shade because the plants were drooping terribly and the tomato leaves were curling up once the temps got just above 90* .( Feels like heat has been well over 100 lately) Hubby dug the post holes and I upgraded to 4x4’s and concrete because my first attempt at just using 2x4’s with drainage rock and not being able to dig deep enough didn’t quite hold up, but the new setup has taken a licken and keeps on ticken.:high-five: I have since these photos were taken fortified the plastic on the greenhouse (but it’s not pretty yet) and since day one it has been staked into the ground using 4ft rebar with a hook that was beat thru some holes that I drilled on the bottom 2x4’s (has held up so far fingers crossed)… It seemed like daily until recently that I was adding something or on the few days off in between that I needed I would find or think of something else to add :laughtwo:
I have never grown anything outside other than some petunias ever so I’ve learned a lot and continue to learn something new everyday! It’s also been a completely organic grow and I’ve been using compost/worm casting teas. I found a completely organic fert off a channel I’ve been watching MIgardner on YouTube and these plants (tomatoes and peppers) have done very well with it.Don’t know if I can say the name of it on here tho.

Damn, you've been a busy lady- beautiful garden area you put together- too bad mother nature decided to
mess things up a bit...but I'm sure you've put it back to the way it was before the storm...
And congrats on the many harvests awhile back- all that produce should last you a little while...;)

I seriously dig your little garden.
Now that's a piece of work that someone with a little ocd can appreciate.
.
I totally agree with VG. You have a lovely garden and I love your shade.

My condolences to you on the recent deaths in your life.

Hey everybody :ciao: Sorry for the disappearance again! It’s been a crazy summer and past couple months! I started an online class with my man that his friend was teaching and I just couldn’t get interested in it and it was taking up too much of my time so I finally quit it, then I had family come up from TN for a couple of weeks, having surgery on the 10th (to re-do my carpal and cubital tunnel) so I’ve been trying to get my house in order since I will have restrictions for 6 weeks after. Oh my man and I got re-married 0n the 8th too! We just did a backyard close friends and family thing with a BBQ after. (Had the big one over 20 years ago)
My outside garden is still pumping out peppers and tomatoes like crazy but I’m going to have to kull them sadly before the 10th..plus I’ve got enough peppers and tomatoes for at least a year and I’ve already loaded friends and family down with them too.
Anywho, I did start up again and the first 4 popped up quickly with no issues, however the first Critical Kush was way deformed so I dropped another and now I think they are both working themselves out (going to make the final pick on which to keep when they get a bit bigger). Sadly most of all my last 2 Jack Herer seeds haven’t faired well…I had the first one in the puck (after scarring and soaking) for a lil over a week with no luck so I dropped my last one and it finally germed around day 5 but it unfortunately had twisted itself like it was lost all in the puck, so we freed it and within hours she died :( I took the other Jack seed that hadn’t germed out of the puck and let it soak for 24 hours then put her back in the puck and still nothing so I dropped a Sour Diesel and she is on day 2 in the puck. Sooo fingers crossed!
I’ve missed you all and I’m trying to get everything settled back down so I can get back in touch with everyone :meditate:
Here’s some pics of the Lil ones (I dated them on the pics themselves)

I hope everyone is doing well and I’m very much looking forward to catching back up again and thank you so very much for stopping by! :peace::green_heart::Namaste:

You're back!
I'm really happy to see you growing again, and congrats on renewing your vows...it must be love!
